A friend...of the few such that we have, and I had a bit of a sit-down to-day at a nice little place over in the Sharyland community not far from our hideaway in downtown Mission. We solved all the problems in the world, cussed the bad guys, and praised the good guys. My friend is a little older than El Gringo Viejo, and he asked me if I was having difficulty remembering things. So then I said... something about ...what was it?? What we were talking about now?
But in all seriousness, he wanted to know if my early admonition about buying things from off the pages with the little advertisements was still prohibited if the readers are family or close friends, or whatever. My answer is that its probably better than to uslessly click onto the advertisements, because that creates a truly false impression. There is nothing false about a purchase, I am given to understand, and that does make sense. So if you are going to book a one month river cruise of the Danube for your family reunion of your closest 35 relatives, go ahead and click forth. And yes, that would help El Gringo Viejo's bottom line. But, it would still be advisable to check for good, better, best in terms of what it is that is desired and what is desired in terms of costs, etc. before anything is bought. Sometimes there are deals and sometimes there are....whatever. Think of yourself first, in these matters, and of us, none at all. We have tried to filter out as much as we can of offensive or obvious schill and junk. We have tried to make the offerrings something that is as classy as possible and as high in quality as possible while avoidings products that we deem to be coarse, vulgar, and depraved. We negate anything that has to do with Red China, although we permit tourism offers out of Cuba. We use the rule of thumb, "Would Mr. Rogers and Anita Bryant want these products advertised on their blogs." The Old Friend who was the lunch-mate is actually an old competitor back in the Excursion Company days. We grew to appreciate each other's practices, although I would still do things my way were I ever to go back into the business. We have clone-like political and cultural intuitions and preferences. To show the lack of my imagination, perhaps, El Zorro is also one of the same stripe. Each of the three personalities being compared are very, very similar in terms of catechism, old Episcopal background, wealth and poverty factors, education, rural/urban orientation, attitudes about race and ethnicity, work ethic,compliance, and such matters. El Zorro is much further down the road in actually making guns shoot straight, computers run correctly after they become derilict, and electronic things function.....you know....doing things that actually matter. Another pair of personalities who are very similar are my brother-in-law and my concun~o (husband of my sister-in-law)....it would be a terrible thing to do to put all five of our personalities into one small town. It would be remade in about 4 days. For the good of all, of course. In any regard, feel free to click on things if you are doing it from normal motivation. Thanks for this totally egocentric message from El Gringo Viejo
GEORGE BUSH, CAUGHT ONCE AGAIN SHOWING NO CONCERN FOR THE OPPRESSEDMASSES IN NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY.
"This whole hope and change thing is beginning to wear a little thin. I told these people that they didn't build that Dumpster. The government got it there. But they're like a lot of white people...just like a bunch of lepers in the Bible....not one of them came to kiss my boots or throw palm fronds at my feet. Hey! Hey! I'm talking to you....Mr. Secret Service man...git the names of those people over there at that Dumpster"
Can you imagine those people eating that garbage? You know, if they were at all considerate they'd give all that good food to the children and then go looking along the back porches at the projects where the pets don't eat all their Alpo or Gravy Train. I hear it tastes better than what they serve at the Special Olympics."
Hey! Hey! Tell those cops to stop acting stupidly. That kid they're harrassing looks a lot like what my son would have looked like....if I had a son....They're doin' what? Givin' him an asthma inhaler for an attack? Well, tell them to be more careful about it anyway, because it still looks like profiling...just because he had asthma....You know, first it's an inhaler, then next it'll be waterboardin'"
When last we heard from Sandra Fluke, she had parlayed the worldwide fame she earned by being insulted by Rush Limbaugh into a spot on the Obama campaign. Her public appearances have been very successful, with attendance numbers sometimes breaking double digits.
Intimate gathering with @SandraFluke as local supporters drive by yelling "Go Obama!"
It was obviously "Standing Room Only" for Miss Flukie
But wait, there’s less! As Charles C. Johnson (no relation) reports:
In a candid on-camera interview two weeks ago with the campus newspaper of her alma mater, Cornell University, contraception activist Sandra Fluke explained that her agitation for free and universal access to contraception has a larger goal: removing the “barriers” of unwanted children from women’s paths to career and political success…
“If we think about what contraception means for people, it’s not only about having access to the health care that you need, and the human rights aspects of having access to health care, but it’s also about what being able to control your own reproduction does for women specifically, but for men as well,” she said.
“It allows us to pursue the educational opportunities that we hope for and to have the careers and the career trajectory that we dream of.”
It makes you feel bad for Sandra’s mom, doesn’t it? Just think how much more she could’ve done with her life if her career trajectory hadn’t been derailed because the government didn’t help her prevent Sandra. Whatever happened to women’s rights?
Rear Adm. Charles Gaouette, a San Diego native who has climbed the ranks of the Navy over a long career, was unceremoniously removed as commander of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group in recent days. His removal comes while the Stennnis CSG is deployed in the Persian Gulf region. The Navy did not give a clear explanation for the change, other than to say that questions had arisen about his leadership judgment. He has been sent back to his homebase in Bremerton, Washington, to await the outcome of the investigation.
(We incorrectly reported in an earlier version of this story that Gaouette was commander of the cruiser Mobile Bay.)
It is very unusual for the Navy to remove such a high ranking person from his post in the middle of deployment. The Stennis Carrier Strike Group, which features several surface ships from San Diego, has been operating with several San Diego-based vessels, including the cruiser Mobile Bay and the destroyer Dewey.
The NavyTimes.com reports that, "Vice Adm. John Miller, commander Naval Forces Central Command, made the decision to reassign the commander of Carrier Strike Group 3, even though it’s deployed to the Middle East."
The cruiser Mobile Bay operates out of San Diego Bay. US Navy
NBC News interviewed Neal Zerbe, a retired Navy Capt., who told the news organization that, “The particular commander being relieved, and you know translating that to just moving him back to a continental U.S. base while the investigation continues, is unlike anything I've ever seen before.''
The strike group's vessels include the San Diego-based Mobile Bay, which has had a mixed record in recent years. The cruiser was awarded the coveted Battle "E" in 2006. But in 2011, the ship failed a major inspection, due primarily to problems with her propulsion system, aviation, operations and communication.

We are viewing this issue and the possible scapegoating of Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette with some consternation. As NBC News...(proud partner in the Obsolete Marxist Press)...is pointing out, with the referral point being a retired Navy Captain (colonel in the real military) ...the transfer of a battle group commanding officer to Stateside during deployment for an "investigation" .....according to that Captain, "....unlike any I've ever seen before."
In that this is a minor league blog, published in the outback of the American frontier and in Mexico, we can afford the luxury of stating things more firmly and dabbling a bit in the conjectural. Everything we publish is true to the best of our knowledge. Conjecture we identify as such. Quoted material we try to cite with identification of the original authors. And by saying that it is true to the best of our knowledge, we do not mean that we conveniently failed to check on the veracity of our knowledge or our sources. We do more checking than Bill Moyers or Mr. Press or anyone on MSNBC or in the leftist press.
The main thing that troubles this writer at this time is the fact that this commander at the tip of the arrow that the American Eagle holds within his talons has been rumoured to have had a melt-down because he had assets ready to respond to the Benghazi situation and pilots and deck crews burning with hatred and adrenalin ready to risk all .....and nothing happen'd.
El Gringo Viejo, at the risk of burdening the OROGs, feels compelled to submit the following inclusion as a "fair and balanced" summary of the issues leading up to the betrayal of American personnel on the ground in Benghazi...a procress that took about 2 months and culminated with the deaths of at least four Americans and various loyalist Libyans, as yet unrecognised in any way. Some of this information, in fairness was derived from an assembly of "all facts" done by a pacifist group up North, United for Peace, Pierce County, and in deference to their honesty in reporting some devastating truths about the preparations and realities on the ground, we are including some of their material as part of the whole. If the OROG reads through the entirety of what we are including here, the reader will be in the 96th percentile of knowledge and comprehension of the Benghazie issue. Suffice to say, if Nixon, Reagan, or either Bush had done what Barak Hussein Obama, Panetta, Petraeus, or Clinton have done in this issue ...those Republicans would have been facing impeachment and certain conviction within weeks. The Obsolete Press would have spied, fried, lied, and and dumped them into the nearest Dempster Dumpster.
On October 18, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta had announced that General Ham would be succeeded at AFRICOM by General David Rodriguez. Later speculation tied this decision to the fallout from the September 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens. However on Monday October 29 a defense official told the Washington Times that "the decision [to leave AFRICOM] was made by General Ham. He ably served the nation for nearly forty years and retires after a distinguished career." Previously all that was known was that General Ham would be rotating out of AFRICOM at some future date, but not that he was leaving the service. General Ham is a few years short of the mandatory retirement age of 64, but it is not unusual for someone of that rank to retire after serving in such a significant command. The questions concerning General Ham's role in the September 11 events continue to percolate. Congressman Jason Chaffetz, Utah Republican, said that General Ham told him during a visit to Libya that he had never been asked to provide military support for the Americans under attack in Benghazi. Former United States Ambassador to the U.N. John R. Bolton also mentioned Mr. Chaffetz's account, and contrasted it with Mr. Panetta's statement that General Ham had been part of the team that made the decision not to send in forces. "General Ham has now been characterized in two obviously conflicting ways," Mr. Bolton concluded. "Somebody ought to find out what he actually was saying on September the eleventh." No word yet on when General Ham's rotation or retirement take effect.
STENNIS COMMANDER REASSIGNED TO BREMERTON Bermerton (WA) Patriot
The Navy has approved a request by Vice Adm. John W. Miller, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command to temporarily reassign the commander of the USS John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group.
Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette, commander, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 3, will return to the strike group's home port of Bremerton pending the results of an investigation by the Navy Inspector General.
The John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group is currently deployed to the Middle East.
Gaouette's Chief of Staff, Capt. William C. Minter, will lead the strike group until the arrival of Rear Adm. Troy M. Shoemaker, who will assume command until the matter is resolved.
Shoemaker has served as Commander, Carrier Strike Group 9 and deployed with the Abraham Lincoln Strike Group.
Commander-in-Chief Obama is no leader and fires those who lead.
He fired Adm. Charles Gaouette, commander of the USS John Stennis (aircraft carrier) Strike Group (Mediterranean), for moving the fleet closer to Libya during the Benghazi consulate attack and launching armed aircraft to orbit for close air support. Also fired was Gen. Carter Ham, commander of African Command, for preparing ground forces to go into Libya to protect the consulate.
These officers had received messages that this was a terrorist attack and were reacting accordingly. Commander-in-Chief Obama's conscious decision to do nothing because of political concerns was a disgrace to all who defend or have defended our country. He will never be respected by our military.
Apparently, President Obama had access to the massacre in real time and then fled the White House to fund raise in Las Vegas. The two former SEALS were ordered to "stand down" but ignored the order. General Ham's quick reaction forces were ready to deploy and was ignoring Department of Defense standdown orders when he was relieved of command during the battle.
Why does President Obama continue to lie to the American people about the Benghazi consulate massacre? Perhaps, because this situation is worse than what happened to two earlier presidents.
President Nixon resigned rather than face impeachment for Watergate. President Clinton was impeached for lying to a federal judge. President Obama's decision to deny the consulate's request for additional security before and during the massacre and write-off the deaths of four Americans for political purposes, make Nixon's and Clinton's actions appear as misdemeanors.
President Obama was derelict in his duty as commander-in-chief of the armed forces and should be impeached. Incidentally, Obama's cohorts in the American press are co-conspirators for failing to expose these actions.

BENGHAZI ATTACK: URGENT CALL FOR MILITARY HELP 'WAS DENIED BY CHAIN OF COMMAND'
By Bred Knickerbocker
** Fox News and others report that military help was available during the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, but denied. CIA and Pentagon officials strongly deny the claim. **
Citing “sources who were on the ground” in Benghazi, Libya, Fox News is reporting that an urgent request for military help during last month’s terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate there “was denied by the CIA chain of command.”
The attack, on the anniversary of 9/11, killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three embassy personnel, including two former Navy SEALs working as security contractors.
Among other things reported in some detail, Fox asserts that a Special Operations team had been moved to U.S. military facilities in Sigonella, Italy -- approximately two hours away -- but were never told to deploy.
“The fighting at the CIA annex [in Benghazi] went on for more than four hours -- enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.”
This latest report comes as the Obama administration continues to fend off criticism that it misunderstood (or deliberately misled in its public statements) what was happening in Benghazi, including the extent to which al Qaeda or its affiliates were involved in the attack.
Writing last week in the conservative *National Review* online, former Marine Corps officer and Reagan administration senior Pentagon official Francis “Bing” West outlined much the same scenario as Fox News, including a timeline of events in Benghazi.
“Fighter jets could have been at Benghazi in an hour; the commandos inside three hours,” Mr. West wrote. “If the attackers were a mob, as intelligence reported, then an F-18 [Navy fighter jet] in afterburner, roaring like a lion, would unnerve them. This procedure was applied often in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Conversely, if the attackers were terrorists, then the U.S. commandos would eliminate them. But no forces were dispatched from Sigonella.”
“For our top leadership, with all the technological and military tools at their disposal, to have done nothing for seven hours was a joint civilian and military failure of initiative and nerve,” writes West, a Vietnam combat veteran who has reported extensively on U.S. combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Secretary of State Clinton has said the responsibility was hers. But there has been no assertion that the State Department overruled the Pentagon out of concern about the sovereignty of Libyan air space. Instead, it appears passive groupthink prevailed, with the assumption being that a spontaneous mob would quickly run out of steam.”
CIA and Obama administration officials have been quick to rebut such critical news reports.
CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood denied to Fox the claims that requests for support were turned down.
"We can say with confidence that the Agency reacted quickly to aid our colleagues during that terrible evening in Benghazi," she said. "Moreover, no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. In fact, it is important to remember how many lives were saved by courageous Americans who put their own safety at risk that night -- and that some of those selfless Americans gave their lives in the effort to rescue their comrades."
At a press conference this week, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the U.S. military did not quickly intervene during the attack because military leaders did not have adequate intelligence information and felt they should not put American forces at risk, reports the Associated Press.
"The basic principle is that you don't deploy forces into harm's way without knowing what's going on; without having some real-time information about what's taking place," Mr. Panetta told Pentagon reporters. "And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation."
Panetta was referring to Gen. Carter Ham, the head of U.S. Africa Command, and Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress are pressing their case for more information.
In a letter to President Obama Thursday, House Speaker John Boehner questioned whether the White House considered military options during or immediately after the attack, and he questioned what the president knew about the security threats in the country. He said that the national debate over the incident shows that Americans are concerned and frustrated about the administration's response to the attack.
"Can you explain what options were presented to you or your staff, and why it appears assets were not allowed to be pre-positioned, let alone utilized? If these reports are accurate, the artificial constraint on the range of options at your disposal would be deeply troubling," Rep. Boehner wrote.
In the above inclusion, that part that has been coloured in red has been found to be, through deceit or incompetence, untrue. It is all part of the septic mess this entire Benghazi situation has become. It is of interest that classified material can pour out to the public about the Usama bin Ladin take-down as if it were a Niagara Falls of information....much of it classified and needlessly released....within minutes and hours of the event. It is also of interest that we have pictures of the president in the "situation room" helping all of the victims of the Storm Sandy....within minutes and hours of the president's gracing a chair in that room....but about Benghazi...nothing....we are waiting for the results of the investigation...an investigation that will never be released unless it can prove that everything was George Bush's fault or an error on the part of the military.
We commend this information to the the interest of the OROG. Thanks for your attention and time invested with us. Your numbers grow daily, and we are humbled by your kind interest.
Progressives and leftists depend upon the existence of a large mass of population that is stupid and/or ignorant. Progressives and leftists also can be depended upon to immediately resort to ridicule when confonting opponents, normally because it is known that argument with the engagement of the left side of the brain is not a marxist's long suit.
Let us consider several recently developing howlings from the left. AlGore has declared that "Sandy" was the result of Global Warming (not climate change this time). So, the fellow who declared that all the oceans would be 12 to 14 feet higher due to the elimination of the polar ice caps...by 1996...and then who proceeded to buy a love-nest home for his mistress and his estimable self in 2009 right on the Pacific Coast of glorious Peoples' Republic of Pornalifornia.....has spoken once again. His Wisdom goes before him.
Al....sorry, but the actual cause for the peculiar intensity and lack of intensity of Hurricane Sandy....a category I storm....was not heat....but rather cold. The interruption of the normal path of the hurricane was caused by a rapid descending Arctic air mass that was carrying extremely abnormal cold temperatures. This high pressure mass broke the southwest to northwest jet stream at upper levels and left the hurricane to other guidance, namely an upper level high to the east of the Canadian Maritimes.
Although AlGore is not aware of this, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and western New York had incomprehensible snows and even blizzards during this period, as "Sandy" moved at 290 degrees after crossing the "Jersey Shores". Snow totals in West Virginia exceeded THREE FEET!!!! That's THREE FEET, Al ! In Johnson City, Tennessee, they had over THREE FEET OF SNOW ALL...BEFORE NOVEMBER! Al, you know where Johnson City is, because you used to plough the cotton and tobacco farms there behind a team of two mules....I can see you there to this day, waist wrapped with your pull and stay line and wearing the thick gloves to spare your callouses from blistering.
AlGore caught in a moment before the Revolutionary War when he promised to fight cigarettes even as he was inventing the internet that was so valuable to his close friend and confidant, George Washington\
The intrusion of the storm surge, being in excess of 13.5 feet, almost two feet higher than any previous mark, can be largely attributed to something about which AlGore knows nothing. The previous record was set at the half-moon phase back in the 1800s. This record was set during the dreaded full-moon phase, which normally accentuates tidal effects by as much as 10%.
To AlGore, any phenomena that seems catastrophic to the point of incomprehensibility to the stupid and ignorant is the right time to say "Wobal Gloming" or "Bolar Pears" or "Bi-polar Bears". The Galveston Hurricane of 1900 left a minimum of 6,000 dead...dead from one day to the next.....some say the death toll was much higher.....much, much higher. Galveston had a population then of about 30,000 souls. It was...pretty much like Atlantic City...the Gomorah of its day with brothels and saloons and gambling conducted openly and illegally. Galveston was gone....totally gone....in 10 hours. Please note in the linkage below, that it was also a city with a fine Opera House and the second or third largest Baptist, Episcopal, and Roman Catholic Church structures and congregations in the Republic of Texas. They who be not whole needeth a physician. It was a great center of medical research and philanthropy as well.....still is actually.
We urge that this above posted linkage not be viewed
by children or by especially sensitive people.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is pointed out that Galveston was a town with some fame as a "Wanton Village" but it was also Texas's largest seaport, and it was populated by hard-working people....be they saloon girls, deck-hands, locomotive repairmen, cotton packers, etc.etc. This was not a New Orleans situation where the overwhelming majority of people were hopelessly intellectually impaired to the point of being unable to defend themselves with five (5) days notice. The Galveston Hurricane allowed the people about 6 hours notice....but this only about the storm....not about the intensity.
So, in parting Galveston and its fabled past, the issue of the damage caused by "Sandy" is strictly because of the logistical placement and entry point of the storm. It hit a place where there are a lot of people in a small area.
And Al...El Gringo Viejo has Tennessee in his background....the Tennessee of the Smokey Mountains, and Winchester and Knoxville and the pride of locale...of clan....of good whiskey....of hand-shake honesty....fair treatment....and living simply. We know that you flunked out of Divinity School at the University of Tennessee, and we know that you flunked out of Law School. AlGore, we know you had a grand total of two (2) college level science courses. You received a "D" in one and a "C" in the other. AlGore, we know you flunked out of law school. Then AlGore, we really know you flunked out of divinity school. Do you have any idea how hard it is to flunk out of divinity school? I mean, that is supposed to be a "calling" and so they will practically lead you by hand to class. It does take a bit of intellectual acumen, however.
And this is the man the rest of the world calls "an intellectual'? And the intellectuals of the world think WE are the stupid ones! He dazzles the world with his "intellect" as they call it, and they live mired in socialist paradise, wondering all the while why their once magnificent Empires are rotting morally and economically. And AlGore wants us to "live their example"?
Not only is Gore marginally retarded, he is the godson of Armand Hammer, notorious for doing business with the communists in the cold war. I have seen photos of Gore sitting in Hammer's lap as a baby and Hammer was AlGore, Jr,'s Dad's sugar daddy. We can remember that Nikolai Lenin declared Armand Hammer to be the Soviet Union's favourite capitalist. Nikki also said that ...."...American capitalists will sell everything we need to us. Then they will sell us the rope by which we shall hang them. And they will sell us the rope on credit". A bit of biography of the famous Mssrs. AlGore, Sr. and AlGore, Jr. is included below, from the pen of F.R. Duplantier.
Al Gore
Theme: "If I Had A Hammer" By
F.R. Duplantier From
America's Future
If Al Gore Jr. ever runs for
President, he'll have to answer some embarrassing questions about the source of
his family's wealth.
"One of the minor mysteries of American
politics has been the source of wealth for the family of Vice President Albert
Gore Jr.," observes Joseph Goulden of Accuracy in Media. "When Gore's father was
first elected to the House of Representatives in the late 1930s," Goulden
continues, "he was an impecunious Tennessee school teacher who eked out extra
dollars by playing fiddle at church weddings. But later, as a United States
Senator, he lived in the plush Fairfax Hotel on Embassy Row in Washington, and
sent his son, Al Jr., to the pricey St. Alban's Episcopal School, the haunt of kids from
Social Register families."
Armand Hammer Communism's 'Capitalist Prince' and Vice President Gore's Greatest
Influence
In a recent issue of the Washington
Inquirer, Goulden summarizes the contents of a new book called Dossier, written
by investigative reporter Edward Jay Epstein, which "shows that the senior Gore
had a silent partner who for several decades insured that his pockets remained
comfortably filled. He was Armand Hammer, the multi-millionaire businessman and
oil promoter who apparently collected art and politicians with equal zeal."
Goulden notes that Al Gore Sr. was "Hammer's designated door-opener in official
Washington." The handsome compensation that Gore Sr. received for his services
culminated in a half-a-million-dollars-a-year position with Armand Hammer's oil
company, Occidental Petroleum. Al Gore Jr. picked up where his father left off
and "put the family's Senate seat at Hammer's service."
Goulden describes Armand Hammer as "one
of the odder, more odious characters of American business and politics, 'famous'
chiefly because he was rich enough to promote his mammoth ego." He notes that
Hammer's carefully and expensively crafted public persona was "that of a
renegade oilman who made billions from Libyan oil, chummed around with
politicians up to White House level, and adorned acres of galleries with
paintings, some priceless, some fakes. Hammer's lawyers bedeviled honest
journalists who tried to write otherwise."
Left to right: Senator Al Gore Sr., Armand
Hammer, Mrs. Pauline Gore, daughter Nancy and Little Albert Gore
Jr.
Hammer's powerful influence on Al Gore
Sr. and Jr. would have been bad enough had he been nothing more than an
unscrupulous businessman. Like his father Julius, however, he was a lifelong
Communist and a friend of the Soviet Union. "Some scattered hints that Hammer's
ties with the USSR went beyond business friendship have surfaced over the
years," says Goulden. Documents discovered in Soviet archives, however, leave no
doubt that Hammer was "a man who bribed and cheated his way to great wealth --
and who started with Soviet gold." That gold was primarily drawn from the ancient private treasury of the Romanoffs.
Edward Jay Epstein's new book, Dossier,
makes a compelling case that both Al Gore Sr. and Al Gore Jr. were the willing
partners of a very powerful and very wealthy man, Armand Hammer, who was not
loyal to the United States of America. A truly independent press would have
exposed these connections decades ago, long before Al Gore Sr. and Jr. rose to
their prestigious and influential positions.
AlGore....you and your people will have to build very large "showers" or huge gulag facilities....because there are millions of us who did pass a few university level Earth Science courses and who have studied a bit of history written before the re-writing by the marxist zombie intellectuals.
Al Gore posed for a photo paddling a canoe. But in order to make sure the
canoe would float for the photo-op, 4 billion gallons of water was released from
a New Hampshire dam and allowed to escape down the creek. New Hampshire was in
the middle of a record drought at the time. This was the first time he dumped Tipper, his "defective" wife with cancer. They had intended to be shown together in an "ecofriendly" scene of matrimonial pleasantry....but there was a bit of a displacement malfunction. So, AlGore paddled back to shore, and then continued the "ecofriendly" paddle fantasy alone. What in the sam hill does "eco" mean, anyway? The picture on the left is, of course, what a love nest looks like.
We'll leave now and allow the OROGs to enjoy the Vice-President's picture, while thinking about that wonderful love-pad AlGore built for his one and only, overlooking the Pacific. As always, we appreciate your tolerance and patience with these moments fueled by rancid AirWick and moldy NoDoz.
This little posting is offencive? Did it hurt Obama's feelings?
IS SOMEONE KIDDING ME?
This is another reason why El Gringo Viejo has a mental bloque when it comes to using facebook. He does not understand the progression of the banter and he has nothing to say of interest to the people who are in the ether of the screeds. Nothing he writes is answered but with rare occasion, and he has more friends that he has never heard of than the last guy who won the lottery.
That is all just a matter of being old in a world that is compelled to close its eyes tighter as a response to the news that everyone is just about to follow the lemmings over the Cliffs of Dover.
But, sometimes El Gringo Viejo knows why he participates so little. The people involved with the ownership, establishment, and operation of facebook are very typical of the self-absorbed snips who "feel strongly" and "care" but who do not think. They are cunning and can impress with certain acumen that impresses but that also produces only ephemeral magic. We edge further towards being texting, cellular telephoning, facebooking, twittering zombophyles. Instead of faulting us, I presume, my blame is cast towards the vacuous inventors.
The vacuous inventors are not the Bells, Fords, and Edisons of old. They are usually secular humanists who worship only self. They are a perfect match for the meaningless, such as the present president of this Republic. They thrive in a Sesame Street World of pointless activity where "safe" is a greater value than valour, and a unanimous tie for first place is better than a second place that was actually earned. And, Sesame Streetville does not burden its citizens with things like synogogue or churches. Even Bedrock had churches (odd, coming from the BC period), but Sesame Streetville is not a judgemental place.
It is only judgemental if someone is mean, and wants to hurt some nice person's feelings by not allowing that better nice person to chop your head off because your sister walked under the bungabunga tree on Tuesday afternoon...a prohibited act according to the Law from Khawho bin Shibob and his chief priest Wahali-theshish-kabob. It is especially mean if that mean, according to this president, if that person is a shade lighter of skin than the good person who is trying to destroy America and all the heretics and infidels in order to establish a caliphate that can take up the work of Hitler, Stalin, and the Aztecs and the rest of history's loons.
So Facebook took down the little word play of the Navy Seal Association. Facebook is okay with blowing women's heads off for half-time entertainment at the soccer games in Kabul, but it takes offence at the idea that the Navy Seals take offence at the idea that the president will take credit for "killing Bin Laden" while almost simultaneously refusing to save retired Navy Seals from being murdered.
Let's see if that can be stated better. Obama sends in the SEALs to engage bin Laden at a safe house in Pakistan. After a bit of an issue, a person, supposedly bin Laden, is killed by SEALs, who face considerable difficulty and hardship in executing the orders. In the meanwhile, almost instantly Obama's National Security Advisor gives up scores of classified details about the action, including the name and address of the Pakistani medical doctor who provided the linkages necessary to pinpoint the whereabouts of bin Laden. And Obama begins a 14-months spiking of the ball in the end zone, which is called the "We're not going to go around spiking the ball in the end zone Tour". "Usama bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive!!" And the Pakistani doctor is sitting in a Pakistani prison, having been convicted of treason, although Al Qaeda has been involved directly or indirectly in the killings of thousands of Pakistanis over the last 10 years. Treason?
