    El Gringo Viejo  has met Jorge a couple of times. We have exchanged comments and observations. He is a deep-pink marxist, without apology. He is, in this article, the pot calling the kettle black, in spades.


     During the last presidential campaign, Univision had an extended interview with the poseur currently known as the president of all fifty-seven States. Jorge and one of the older, more dilapidated anchorettes were there to "really go in-depth" with Barry. Barry continued with his filibuster-style of answers, knowing that a one hour event meant 39 minutes that he would have to bloviate to death.


     Jorge, who is no dummy and is well-informed, broached the question about "Fast and Furious", suggesting that American government provided weaponry had been used in the killing of non-involved civilians and semi-honest and honest cops, and members of the Mexican Army and Naval Infantry...at that time in October of 2012....numbering about 400 dead and about 2,000 wounded....at shoot outs where guns that were walked by the ATF and E were recovered.


     The purpose of "Fast and Furious" was to have firearms that were provided by American firearms stores placed in the hands of cartel thugs in Phoenix and other cities, mainly in Arizona. The ATF and E's intent was to wait until American police and/or civilians were killed or wounded by these guns, and then create a press and political furor to close down sales of firearms to civilians once and for all.


     Barry Soetoro interrupted right at Jorge's close to this question, interjecting, "No, what happened there was that programme which was in place from the Bush administration, as soon as I found out about it, I closed it down." JORGE KNEW THAT THAT STATEMENT WAS AN OUT AND OUT BLATANT LIE, but Jorge stayed in with the fellow commie, just as would the chubby comrade "moderator" during the last Romney-Soetoro "debate". That was where Barry had to remind Comrade Moderator that he had declared Benghazi to be an act of terror the day after the attack, and it was in the Rose Garden, ".....don't you remember?" Barry asked her with a menacing sneer.
Romney, who should have walked out at that point, declaring that he was not going to be a member of a "debate" where the catcher and the umpire were the same person. But no, he was a nice Mormon boy and dealt with his inferiors as though they had souls.


     However, Jorge knew he was being lied to by Barry Soetoro, knew he was lying to his audience and essentially to all America and the world, but he did not challenge, shuffle his papers, or in any way, right the ship of truth. Why? Because Barry is a dedicated Che' T-shirt guy....and Jorge is a dedicated Che' T-shirt guy. Commies at that level only kill one another when no one is watching. (Stalin - Trotsky, Mexico City, and all the fun that Frieda and Diego had being Commies....you simply hahve to understand, dahrling...!"

Here, Jorge is complaining that Obama was using his
picture to intimate endorsement on some of Barry's
Spanish language campaign lies.  Jorge is reminding
the audience that he has always been an Independent
voice.   (!!!!!????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

So that the reader will be clear, the Bush-era programme was "Wide Receiver", and it was closely co-ordinated with the Mexican Army, and the guns were chipped. It functioned with seamless efficiency until the day that the Mexican Army contact informed the ATF people that the chips had been detected. The orders went out immediately for all the "moles" to "come in from the cold" and the programme was completely shut down. Its operation netted numerous Mexican and American major operators before the shut-down.

     The Obama-Holder programme was an "under the radar" operation, involving neither the Mexican Army nor the Naval Infantry...both confidable partners. It was a disaster and many innocents were killed by the obfuscated operation use of willy-nilly passing of automatic weapons to cockroaches in the cartels. And yes, finally an American border-patrol officer was killed by one of the weapons. The Mexican government, which has its own hypocrisies, has been offended by the fact that Obama-Holder would not involve the Army and Naval Infantry in any cross-border action, especially when their dedication and honesty levels are at 99% or better. Of the 1,000 or more, now, who have been killed and/or wounded by the "Fast and Furious" debacle, approximately 30 have been soldiers or navy infantrymen, while the remainder have been men, women, and children usually caught in the crossfire between two different groupings of cockroaches, while cockroaches number about 300 of the fallen. My personal concern is with the other 700 that were directly damaged by the scurrilous, illegal, and arrogant action of Holder - Soetoro - Jarrett.

     And Jorge....the blood of Gringos and Mexicans is on your hands as well. Make sure to wash your Che' t-shirt in cold water...it was made in Red China and bleeds a lot before it falls apart, usually after the 3rd wash, Jorge.

Father of Shooter....No apologies....no sympathy....

    Your son had a 50,000 USD BMW.  You paid to fly him to England to attend what is, in these days ,foolishly called a '' concert''.  He flew 1st Class, and hopefully it was with some kind of your card's awards points.   You pawned him off on psychotherapists, psychologists, and therapists, and medicines, and whatever.....but you did not father him.


   If anyone, by the age of 22 years....living anywhere near a person so deranged as your son could not immediately have determined that he was an immediate danger to both himself and to the human race.....then those observing are fools and equivalently  narcissistic to the "infermed person".  You apparently were, and are, too important to deal as a real man with a problem such as the son who you apparently birthed-up.  Your pursuits were a little more important than that.  Your artistic pursuits were much too beyond the ordinary and mundane to be deterred by something such as a problematic child.

    How many credit cards did he have?  How many times was  he whipped? lectured? grounded? time-outed? taken fishing or hunting? Parachuting or glider-piloting?  a NASCAR event?  a minor league or major league or college baseball game?   Did you ever train him....I mean...TRAIN him on the correct use of knives, firearms, bows and arrows, boxing, kung Fu, jujitsu, piano, soccer, tennis, paper route, ANYTHING NORMAL!!!????   Did you ever take him aside and tell him that all women are crazy?  Did you ever do anything ????




     You managed to be somewhat famous for being a top-line director of some kind of degenerate television or motion picture programming, and of course, if people need really, really great pictures of women's derrieres, then you are just the fellow to come through with the goods.   Quite an accomplishment.  Perhaps if you could have made them to look like some icon of Saint Mary and packed the models in elephant dung, or dropped them into a Houdini tank of urine with a cross/crucifix in it.   What in the Hell were you thinking while this child existed?  Were you so busy being le gran artiste pervers?




     Do you think that you avoided something by not whacking your son on the butt and yelling at him?   Do you not think that you and not the firearm or bow and arrow or machete or motorcar had anything to do with the violence that you created and disregarded, then lumped off on those of us who did whack our sons (and daughters) on the butt and yell at them?
     Do you realise that I and millions of other fathers moaned privately at the "abuse" we rendered our children...when we knew that it was up to us....not their mothers....not the village....not the jackboots disarming the religious kooks in Mount Carmel.....but the fathers.....to protect the culture from our children.............and our children from people like you.




    You can be against firearms, or smoking, or sewing machines, or whatever.   But you are a fool if you try to re-blame me for firearms deaths for anyone.   I went to a school in 1964 in Texas where every third vehicle in the High School parking lot had one, if not two or three, firearms in the trunk and/or glove compartment.    We never had such occurrences.   We had catechisms....we had parents who would slap our faces and whack our butts and thighs for serious transgression against the public sensibility. Seventeen years of 6 murders, not all by firearm,  in the 6th largest county in the Republic of Texas, with 254 counties....and essentially no gun violence.


     You have nothing but some kind of fame for butt-shots of models....$1,250 to really dress up your living room.  Wow.   They are truly works of art....No, they are burlesques of humanity with a dolt of some woman trying to make a buck with her body, having her picture taken with the Taj Majal live in the background.  Wow.   Art.


    You are a well-known assistant Director for making horridly violent movies that resemble the vomit to which the dog famously returns.   Really cutting edge stuff....degenerate violence that has absolutely no social or cultural value, but which appeals to the monsters you people have always been willing to construct.   Your spawn....the aimless, inarticulate, mumbling, self-centred, self-consumed, indolent, violent, addicted, self-entitled, arrogant, contemptuous, deceitful, self-pitying, slugs that you want to blame on me, when you were the one who whelped them forth.


     Re-bundling babies over to a soulless psychologist to hates natural law and loves to load up children with magic crystals, especially males, to calm them down and make them more like controllable little animals and girls is NOT BEING A FATHER!!!!!! It is being a child-abuser.....hateful, self-centred "busy person" who resents the problems that that non-viable tissue mass has become.


    Do not blame the gun owners.  In each of the cases where  white (or Oriental) children have uselessly murdered scores of people public or theatres, children in schools. or people in public venues of any kind. the shooters or assailants, the shooter or assailants had been under psychiatric care, heavily medicated, and diagnosed with all sorts and forms of names for the condition of being a male child, needing over-arching male supervision and discipline, commonly performed by that rapidly disappearing entity know as....a Father.
     Medicated white (Oriental also) males, who are unchurched, and untrained in the social civilities and personal responsibilities....and then medicated because their rambunctiousness makes them inconvenient to be around or to discipline, are the problem, especially when the mother is not emotionally invested and the father refuses to or does not exert masculine prerogatives concerning child guidance.

 Michelle Obama spends $8,990 of taxpayer money on one dress for the Oscars and the press calls her “fashionable.” They compare her to Jackie Kennedy and call her the First Lady of Fashion.



 Mrs. Obama spends another $9000 on a purse and you can’t easily find any mention of it on the Internet.  It also disappears from internet availability.

Michelle Obama spends $467,000 on a trip to Spain.  She notoriously and frequently takes a later plane, or requires a second plane, so as not to wait for Obama, or so as to not have to hurry to leave on the "first flight" when travelling to other "family vacations", always to places the wealthy cannot afford.

Expenditures of tax money on six discretionary "working vacations" have not been totally tabulated, but reach well towards a couple of score-million dollars.   Large coteries of hangers-on, scores of "close friends", and family famously lard-on to these excursions.  Michelle's mother is never mentioned but almost always present.

Mrs. Obama has employed 22 attendants to attend to her every need, which total $6,364,000/per year. Jackie Kennedy, who is also thought to have been extravagant, had one, as did Laura Bush.  Even (Sir Edmund)Hillary had three.

None of Michelle Obama’s staffers were asked to take furloughs as part of the sequester.  White House was closed to visitors, "because of the Republicans".

Michelle Obama's "problem figure" is, as in the case of Hillary, not even glossed over;  one simply does not mention "such things".  Her grotesque facial construct is described as "stunningly beautiful" by some leftist glorifiers.

Michelle is paid over 300,000 USD/annum to "administer" a programme that pushes poverty level people over to public hospital - Medicaid attention, and away from the hospital concern where Valerie Jarrett obtains Michelle a do-nothing, come-pick-your-check-up-twice-a-month "job".....advocating.   Advocating?    

The number of Robertson-Obama's arrogant postures, statements, and generally classless and tasteless abuses of privilege that a person of gentility and grace would never commit are stunning.  There are simply too many such incidents and occurrences to list on a short screed.

    The GOP spends $150,000 of donated money to buy Mrs. Palin an appropriate wardrobe for the entire 2008 campaign and The Huffington Post headlines read: Palin Clothes Spending Has Democrats Salivating, Republicans Disgusted.


   Palin's wardrobe was camping chic, Black Tie Parka, and lace-up Mush-Dog boots.  She had precious little 'Meet the Press' garb.


  The ''disgusted Republicans" are the ones who always want "good progressive candidates who favour abortion and reasonable compromise".  Their record?  $18,000,000,000,000 in central government debt....and half the population at the trough.   And certain loss at the polls.

     Many similar articles can still be easily found on the Internet today about Sarah Palin's Beverly Hillbilly shopping spree that, of course never happened.

     It is something like Secretary of State Kerry, the wise one, during an official speech saying that Sarah Palin says stupid things like, "I can see Russia from my front porch." 
      I shan't ever forget Kerry laughing stiltedly at his great joke, when the audience was groaning and even liberals were trying to crawl under their chairs or put paper bags over their heads.   One could not help but think, "Could there ever be a Secretary of State worth less than Cyrus Vance?"....and yes, there could.  Hillary and Kerry.

     Sarah Palin sells a State of Alaska jet given to her office for her convenience as Governor,  stating that it is too extravagant.

    Sarah Palin is mocked for "taking advantage of her looks", and for participating in beauty contests.   She is even denigrated for "bearing too late in life".
  
     Governor Palin dismissed all cooks assigned to her when Governor, stating that she could cook for her own family.

     She also returned the car supplied to her by the State, saying that she had her own car.

     Sarah Palin’s college records were examined, scrutinized and publicized.

    Sarah Palin’s children are constantly being watched, ridiculed,  and criticized.

    Marie Antoinette’s extravagance during a time when the citizens of France were supposedly struggling with poverty is well known.  Michele Obama’s is never acknowledged by the leftist Obsolete Press.  It is fairly well established that Marie Antoinette she never uttered the sentence, "Let them eat cake"....that was an aunt or a sister-in-law, but myth, reality, lore, and rumour make a spicy pie.
     For instance, just think, just think of all Hillary Rodham has done for Women, and Children, and Minorities....think of how many miles she rode in that State Department Jet, trying to push away the glass ceiling and solve the income disparity suffered by women!  Just think of it.

     Perhaps Michele wouldn’t say “let them eat cake.” She wouldn’t have to. She would probably say, “Let them have foodstamps.” Either way, Michelle Robertson-Obama-Soetoro is the prime example of the elitist who cares little for the challenges faced by her fellow citizens. For her, life is good, especially after all the racism and discrimination she has had to endure.  It is well, that to remain sane, she can truly believe that she is better than the rest of us. It is exactly this attitude of superiority that makes her the presumptuous, elitist hag, like Hillary, that she is.

A Note of Gratitude - This Past Memorial Day

This is a very brief note of appreciation to the OROGs, and others who passed through yesterday to see the "Three personalities" and to render homage to the departed veterans.  El Zorro, who narrowly missed on various occasions, and El Gringo Viejo who never came close, to having been one of those memorialised yesterday appreciate your comments, and urge your continued return visits and comments

     We especially appreciate that there was not one negative response about our inclusion of the Confederate generals.   The portion we showed was only one-fifth of all generals of the Confederacy who lost their lives  in that War.  I determined to use the generals because they would represent their men, and although, in Texas, Confederate Memorial Day is 26 April and is officially know now as Confederate Heroes Day, combining various old observations of Lee's, Jackson's, and Davis's birthdays  and the Memorial Day.  Various States of the Confederacy have different protocols and dates, and there has been a bit more interest in the last few years, especially with the attention to the Cemeteries and the personalities therein interred.

    El Zorro noted the youth of many of the brigadiers.   The South stupidly lost in a cause that could never have been won, over 450,000 such people in combat or from wounds of combat or disease at the front, or in the pitiful POW camps, especially like Camp Chase, Ohio.   In excess of 20% of all the military aged males in the Confederacy died in the War effort.

     The Union side stupidly lost an equal number it seems.   The total combat losses of 620,000, both sides, has begun to erode, essentially because it is an undependable estimate.   It cannot be defended.  Rumours, lore, and Southern wistfulness cannot fully discount the notion that many Negroes, free and slave, who worked as trenchers, cannon coolers, musicians, cooks, valets, teamsters, and tradesmen in the Confederate effort were summarily executed for being "enemy combatants out of uniform".   It is known that there was considerable, perhaps at times overewhelming, resentment by the Union troops against what they would perceive to be "ungrateful" Negroes who seemed unimpressed at "liberation" at times.  Southerners may have"over-estimated"  this military abuse for obvious propaganda and self-justification reasons...and Northerners may have done the same in minimising the ill-effects of such dispatching of men deigned to have been criminals when they were actually patriots.   Records were not kept accurately about these...probably numerous....incident.s

    El Gringo Viejo's great-great grandfather adopted through indenture two "negro boys approximately 5 and 7 years of age, to indenture and care, to raise and assume responsibility of parentage for,,,,"   This was in 1866, and the thinking is that the boys had lost their father while serving as a shoer and wheelwright  for Hood's Brigade.  The mother apparently had died and the children were being cared for by elderly grandparents.  Their father may be included in the above picture, taken on the edge of Winchester, Tennessee.


     So that none will be taken aback about the Southerners continuing "indenture" even after the War, El Gringo Viejo's grandfather was "indentured" to a family in Montrose, Pennsylvania due to EGV's great-grandfather's debilitation and early death at the age of 57, due to emotional collapse from the deaths of two sons in the War.   And they were all White.

Where Are Those Climate Change 97%?

What is the origin of the false belief-constantly repeated-that almost all
scientists agree about global warming?

 Last week Secretary of State John Kerry warned graduating students at Boston College of the "crippling consequences" of climate change. "Ninety-seven per cent of the world's scientists," he added, "tell us this is urgent." Where did Mr. Kerry get the 97% figure? Perhaps from his boss, President
Obama, who tweeted on May 16 that "Ninety-seven percent of scientists agree:

 "Climate change is real, man-made and dangerous." Or maybe from NASA, which posted (in more measured language) on its website, "Ninety-seven per cent of climate scientists agree that climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities."

Yet the assertion that 97% of scientists believe that climate change is a
man-made, urgent problem is a fiction. The so-called consensus comes from a
handful of surveys and abstract-counting exercises that have been
contradicted by more reliable research.

One frequently cited source for the consensus is a 2004 opinion essay
published in Science magazine by Naomi Oreskes, a science historian now at
Harvard.  She claimed to have examined abstracts of 928 articles published in
scientific journals between 1993 and 2003, and found that 75% supported the
view that human activities are responsible for most of the observed warming
over the previous 50 years while none directly dissented.

Ms. Oreskes's definition of consensus covered "man-made" but left out, as
"dangerous",  scores of articles by prominent scientists such as Richard
Lindzen, John Christy, Sherwood Idso and Patrick Michaels, who question the
consensus.  These were excluded. The methodology is also flawed. A study published earlier this year in Nature noted that abstracts of academic papers often contain claims that aren't substantiated in the papers.

Another widely cited source for the consensus view is a 2009 article in
"Eos, Transactions American Geophysical Union" by Maggie Kendall Zimmerman, a student at the University of Illinois, and her master's thesis adviser,Peter Doran.  It reported the results of a two-question online survey of selected scientists. Mr. Doran and Ms. Zimmerman claimed "97 percent of climate scientists agree, "that global temperatures have risen and that humans are a significant contributing factor.

The survey's questions don't reveal much of interest. Most scientists who

are skeptical of catastrophic global warming nevertheless would answer "yes" to both questions. The survey was silent on whether the human impact is large enough to constitute a problem. Nor did it include solar scientists,
space scientists, cosmologists, physicists, meteorologists or astronomers,
who are the scientists most likely to be aware of natural causes of climate
change.

The "97 percent" figure in the Zimmerman/Doran survey represents the views
of only 79 respondents who listed climate science as an area of expertise
and said they published more than half of their recent peer-reviewed papers
on climate change. Seventy-nine scientists-of the 3,146 who responded to the
survey-does not a consensus make.

In 2010, William R. Love Anderegg, then a student at Stanford University,
used Google Scholar to identify the views of the most prolific writers on
climate change. His findings were published in Proceedings of the National
Academies of Sciences. Mr. Love Anderegg found that 97% to 98% of the 200
most prolific writers on climate change believe "anthropogenic greenhouse
gases have been responsible for 'most' of the 'unequivocal' warming." There
was no mention of how dangerous this climate change might be; and, of
course, 200 researchers out of the thousands who have contributed to the
climate science debate is not evidence of consensus.

In 2013, John Cook, an Australia-based blogger, and some of his friends
reviewed abstracts of peer-reviewed papers published from 1991 to 2011. Mr.
Cook reported that 97% of those who stated a position explicitly or
implicitly suggest that human activity is responsible for some warming. His
findings were published in Environmental Research Letters.

Mr. Cook's work was quickly debunked. In Science and Education in August
2013, for example, David R. Legates (a professor of geography at the
University of Delaware and former director of its Center for Climatic
Research) and three coauthors reviewed the same papers as did Mr. Cook and
found "only 41 papers - 0.3 percent of all 11,944 abstracts or 1.0 percent of the 4,014 expressing an opinion, and not 97.1 percent-had been found to endorse" the claim that human activity is causing most of the current warming. Elsewhere, climate scientists including Craig Idso, Nicola Scafetta, Nir J. Shaviv and Nils-Axel Morner, whose research questions the alleged consensus, protested that Mr. Cook ignored or misrepresented their work.

Rigorous international surveys conducted by German scientists Dennis Bray
and Hans von Storch -most recently published in Environmental Science &
Policy in 2010-have found that most climate scientists disagree with the
consensus on key issues such as the reliability of climate data and computer
models. They do not believe that climate processes such as cloud formation
and precipitation are sufficiently understood to predict future climate
change.

Surveys of meteorologists repeatedly find a majority oppose the alleged
consensus. Only 39.5% of 1,854 American Meteorological Society members who
responded to a survey in 2012 said man-made global warming is dangerous.

Finally, the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change-which claims
to speak for more than 2,500 scientists-is probably the most frequently
cited source for the consensus. Its latest report claims that "human
interference with the climate system is occurring, and climate change poses
risks for human and natural systems." Yet relatively few have either written
on or reviewed research having to do with the key question: How much of the
temperature increase and other climate changes observed in the 20th century
was caused by man-made greenhouse-gas emissions? The IPCC lists only 41
authors and editors of the relevant chapter of the Fifth Assessment Report
addressing "anthropogenic and natural radioactive forcing."

Of the various petitions on global warming circulated for signatures by
scientists, the one by the Petition Project, a group of physicists and
physical chemists based in La Jolla, Calif., has by far the most
signatures-more than 31,000 (more than 9,000 with a Ph.D.). It was most
recently published in 2009, and most signers were added or reaffirmed since
2007. The petition states that "there is no convincing scientific evidence
that human release of . . . carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse
gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic
heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate."

We could go on, but the larger point is plain. There is no basis for the
claim that 97% of scientists believe that man-made climate change is a
dangerous problem.

   To begin this blog entry, and end it quickly....at least as quickly as a long-winded blowhard can be quick, there was no "Palestinian displacement" .   There were swarms of people who drifted in and around the areas connecting the Bedouin Tribal areas, and inside of, and in and out of, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, the Gaza Strip, the Suez-Aqaba deserts, as well as other areas of north of the Sahara Africa.    But by the time of the twixting of World Wars I and II, large numbers of Jordanians, Lebanese, Cypriot Orthodox, and people of various political persuasions....democratic, monarchical, communist, social democratic, anti-colonial, pro-colonial, and many, many other groups were converging on the ancient land marked on the maps of the day as "Palestine".   This was because the area was a mecca (so to speak) for intrigue, investment, traffic and trading.   There was also a interesting remnant of the "Chosen People", established as long time traders, shop keepers, antiquities dealers, "brokers" of "you name it", and even agriculturalists.  Many, if not most or all, were on a friendly and/or functional footing with the Arabs.  Friendships between Hebrews and Mohammedans were not comment worthy due to their commonality.  
   

     We are led to believe that the Palestinians are a sub-group of the Arab sub-race of the Caucasian race, somehow.  But it is not.    It has been implied that the Palestinians are the Philistines of the Old Testament.   They were the ones who tormented, and who were tormented by, Samson, weren't they?

     The word "Palestinian" pertains to that which is relevant to a geographical area known as Palestine.   It is an area pretty much contained within and around another geographical area known as Judea and Israel.

     Of the Arabs, we refer you to the movie about  and the works of T.E.  Lawrence, and to his peculiar, incredible-but-true, life among the Arabs and lesser tribes, such as British and French politicians, throughout the area of Palestine.   Much of Gone With the Wind and much of Lawrence of Arabia tell substantially and essentially true stories, both the literary works and the related motion pictures.

     T. E. Lawrence's book, Seven Pillars also provides excellent insight into the concept of "Palestine" and "Palestinian" up to the period of the arrival of Ben Gurion and the Israelite Zionist returnees to Moses's Land of Milk and Honey at the end of World War II.   Lawrence's entire episode in Arabia, as an archaeologist, as an intellectual analyst, and as a passive spy for British intelligence during the time leading up to the shots heard 'round the World, the assassination of   Archduke Francoise Fernando von Habsburg, Prince of The Austria-Hungarian Empire.  shot that was heard round the world, and his wife.  (Of interest, in a Kennedyesque twist, Francoise Fernando von Habsburg was the brother of  Franz Josef, the Emperor of Austria - Hungary and Maximilian I, Emperor of Mexico, who was executed by Benito Juarez Garcia, President of Mexico and Commander in Chief of the Republican Governmental Armies of Mexico).

     As things deteriorated in Europe and the Middle East, T. E. Lawrence continued his studies both of the area's archaeology and the nature of roads, railroads, and watering holes (oases) of Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and.....Palestine.  The only great groups of Arabs and non-Arabs in and around Palestine had their sheiks or were Greeks like Cleopatra, or Kurds, or other such known groups.    Lawrence and his work-mates would have referred to the areas as Ottoman (Turkish, Kurdish, and Armenian), Trans-Mesopotamia (Syria and Iraq) and the "Levant" which is the trans-Jordanian area along with Palestine.  The last-named districts were nominally under the possession of Turkey of the Ottomans in those times.   The Ottoman Turks were Muslim but they did not mix well with the "rag-heads" as they referred to the Arabs....(the term did not originate with Bubba and Jethro down at the bar)....nor did they get along with the wiry and wily Sheiks of various small but significant Bedouin tribes, nor with the various Emirs of the lands deeper into the Suez-trans Red Sea lands.   The Emirs composed a solid block of tiny emirates that were independent of one another but which could and did, in large part, unite quickly to form a common diplomatic and military front....a formidable one.

    But!  and allow us to quickly restate...the people to whom we refer in these times as "Palestinians' are called such, not because of the OROGs's ignorance or El Gringo Viejo's ignorance, but because of the wilful transmittal of terms by the leftist American and international Obsolete Press.   It started with Abdul Gammel Nasser who allowed himself to be a satrap for the Bolshies in the 1950s...selling himself and the Egyptians to the Kremlin for a few pieces of silver and a useless pharaonic pyramid known as the Aswan Dam on the Nile.  The Bolshies somewhat skilfully and somewhat by accident managed to tap into the animosity being expressed at the Jews du jour....who happened to be Jews.

    Hordes of displaced people, some involved with the Ottoman rule, others displaced by the anti-colonial movements, especially in Algeria....and even Libya flocked into the trans-Suez and eastern Egypt and the Gaza Strip.   Truth be told....not one Arabian country wanted these people around.   The Brits, French and the various heads of the strangely shaped new settlement countries in the old Ottoman Empire began to settle on lines, capitals, and the new satraps, aka "royal houses"...and/or "political leaders with realistic orientations,"  but no one wanted the swirling unwashed masses.

    One place where there was some acceptance of Arabs living somewhere was in the new Zion....in the Jewish Republic of Israel.   To be sure, these were long-time Arabs with a record of co-operation and/or at least acceptance of Jews as neighbours.   They would have been the people of trades, shops, dealers and brokers of antiquities, and professionals...such as doctors, teachers, and archaeological analysts.

     This was the backdrop to the events before 1950 when the Arab countries surrounding the newly formed State of Israel all decided to express the will of the people of the region and drive the Jews into the Mediterranean Sea.    A simultaneous offencive was launched by forces totalling populations roughly 50 times the size of the population of Israel.   The Arabs living in the new Zionist State were warned to leave, because soon, the entire country would be laid waste so as to purify it from the contamination of Jew sandals.

     Those who chose to leave, perhaps were being reasonable, because no one would like to be purified after first being lain waste.    And, any reasonable Gentile even would have had to bet on the great knights of the desert, scimitars glistening in the rays of the crescent moon.   Those scimitars would have come at the Israelis in the form of French, British, and Russian armaments...including tanks, MIGs, all nature of mortar and artillery, while the boots on the ground favoured the Arabian Putsch to be a 15 to 1 advantage.  Everybody knew that Jews could not fight and even worse....would not fight.

     When it was all over....in a matter of days...the entire Arabian Nights story had become something more like arabian nightmares.  All the armies assaulting Israel had been either destroyed or almost destroyed.   A couple of the armies were a legitimate AAA minor league rating...while the Jews had not even played a game at semi-pro level.   It was a dark humiliation from which most of the  Arab world has not recovered...and perhaps  will never recover.

     For so long as the Israelis do not become flabby and effeminised as have the  Americans and the British in these early moments of the new millennium there is a chance that the little country can continue to play the role of David against it surrounding potential Goliaths.   Indications are that such an even might well be underway...with more and more Israeli youth opting to find ways of avoiding military service.

      After this war, the 900,000 people who had left Israel to await its destruction, still wait.  They are lethargic, serfs of deranged religious extremists.  Their population is comprised in large part by parents who celebrate the "success" of a son or daughter by how many Jews he or she killed with the homicide vest blew up in the bus.

Sure, why not?

      Sixty years have gone by, and the camps, hovels, and labyrinth of bunny trails connecting hovels made of cinder block in what had been intended to be, at best, temporary facilities for a month or two....now celebrate the birth of another potential homicide bomber great-grandson.   Four...even five generations....occupy these dismal places.   They live by taking....having essentially been on welfare the entire time.   The live as vassals of the bloodthirsty religious nuts of Hezbollah and Jamas....surrounded completely by moral and material corruption, decadence, and dysfunction.    The people are essentially held hostage, even allow themselves to be held hostage, by one mafia that is secular, marxist, Jew-hating, America-hating and that controls hundreds of millions of dollars of "charity'' contributions.   Four million and some odd people now....still waiting still waiting to go back and destroy the buildings, farms, industries, schools, shops, and other structures and places put into place by a small group of people who apparently have more intelligence, concentration on objectives, and willingness to move in a positive direction.

     AND.....These "refugees" are also held hostage by severely mentally ill religious maniacs who will murder a 10 year old girl because she was taken to Tel Aviv for a kidney transplant.   She was tortured and stoned and hacked to death because she was "unclean" being part Jew and only part human.   These things go on day in and day out in the refugee camps.....And the proof...the slob, bleach blonde, prostitute looking widow of Yassir Arafat...one of the greatest of all charlatan....is still working through the two billion and then some dollars that he raked off the top and the bottom of every farthing that came into the PLO treasury.   And his hag wife is in a corner suite in the Ritz in Paris, going shopping every day.   She bought a villa somewhere not far from Cannes a year or two ago, and it is said that degenerate fiestas go on non-stop during her stays there.  She has been run out of Tunisia and essentially from Gaza by politicians and social elements, ostensibly (1) for marrying the Tunisian President's brother or brother-in-law without the necessary protocols. (2) for not cutting in old friends and others on the honey pot of shekels left by Arafat's grimy fingers handling the money for the PLO....and (3) for generally putting plenty of flesh on the bones, so to speak, about how the Arafats always did live large, by her very public displays of hedonism and self-indulgence.

     At the time  of Yasser Arafat's death, he was giving his wife something in the order of 100,000 USD per month for her personal walking around money in Europe.  She stayed for a year, taking out either one-half or one entire floor of a top-line hotel in Paris, on the Champs Elysee at the cost of 9,000 USD per night.   She later bought a flat on the Champs Elysee, within less than a stone's throw from the Arc du Triumph.   Just to be on the safe side, she also has bought a mansion in the area of Paris associated with the titled people.   She is French, schooled in a fine Roman Catholic college,  converted to Greek Orthodox, and then to Islam, and now to consumption and profligacy.

 

     The wealth is nothing negative in and of itself, of course.  The only problem with the entire issue is that it is  money that is essentially stolen.   Like Hillary, making false billings at the Rose Law firm in Arkansas,  both women are certain that anything that they want, is theirs.  Mdm. Arafat had her one and only child in Paris in a private hospital that cost 2,000 dollars a night just for the hotel part of the deal.  PLO money paid for it.  She stated that she was not heroic enough to have a baby surrounded by all the filth in Gaza.   Rather much like Hillary snarling about how her socialised medicine plan would leave a lot of small businesses in the lurch, and probably cause them to shut down, she snipped, "I'm not responsible for making all those little under-capitalised businesses run correctly".    You know....like baking cookies.

 

     All of the people in all of the refugee camps surrounding Israel are willing prisoners and lambs.   Were it to have been 140,000 Japanese Americans interned in a detention facility, the camps would be clean, flowers, social co-operation would be the rule, there would even be prosperity.    The Vietnamese refugees who came over to the United States after the US Congress sided with the communist North Vietnamese and cut off military support for the South.   The Vietnamese who came here, spread their wings and flew high in almost all cases.

All the people who come here and who stay away from welfare and "help" from the government, prosper.   But the refugees surrounding Israel, they rot, lob missiles, moan, and allow themselves to be pin~atas for the various mafias who enslave them.   They deliver their children to the ghastly schools that program the children to be unthinking robots, much like our public schools here in the United States have become, and then hope that they can raise up a child who can break through security and blow up a school bus in the Israeli sector of Jerusalem.   Makes a mother proud.....?????

     So, Obama's speech to the students in Cairo in 2009, to build a new day...had no effect on anything.   The Muslim Brotherhood had already scheduled the riots and disorders that would bring the Brotherhood to power and get rid of Old Mubarek.   After two years, Egypt has changed from a peculiar, somewhat tolerant functional soft dictatorship, to a hell-hole with people talking seriously and sincerely about the necessity to blow up the Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza, and all the Pharoanic monuments of Lexor and the entire run of the Nile.  The oppression decried by the Obsolete Press during the rule of Mubarek, has of course, become much worse with gangs of "extra-official" thugs from the Brotherhood tormenting Coptic Orthodox and "undesirable Muslims".

     
     Obama's show from the last week was just as pointless, worse in a way, when he doesn't have the guts to go before the Knesset and speak to the representatives of all the Israeli nation...but chooses instead to go before a hand-picked group of marxist  university students who are members of known progressive, marxist, and other extreme leftist organisations.  His failure to go to the Wailing Wall was strictly because he wanted to comply with the Islamist extremist notion that non-Muslims should never be allowed to touch the structural parts of the Dome of the Rock.

We think Obama would have been well served to review the contents of this linkage, regarding the status and treatment of Arab Israelis, and how many would prefer to live under the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, or Hamaz.

     His speech urging the "Israeli young people" to reject the distrust and inertia of the past, is reflective of a mental dullness that defies description.   The utter shallowness and failure to engage intellectually with the hard facts that the refugees in the camps tore down everything in the last exchange of land for peace.   Destroyed it.   It is still a garbage heap full of litter, where once there had been prosperity.    Like Obama, and all communists and marxist negotiators, the Palestinian authority is not going to agree to anything, even if it is what they ask for, because the thugs who run the place will lose their money, and their control over the slugs and dregs who apparently wish to be cannon fodder, slaves, and victims of mafias and tyrants.  The islamist extremists carry it just a bit further;  they say, "What difference does it make when or where, we are going to kill every one of you anyway."

 

     Please also note, finally that all the Arabs who stayed in Israel, before that first war, when the dust settled, they went out opened up their stores, showed up at work and are citizens of Israel.   They prosper, argue with the Jews, get along, have Jews who are friends...vote, and even serve in the Knesset, and have held high portfolios in the Israeli government....more proof of the the nature of truth.
