Chicken Little and the Never Ending Threat: We are all going to die because of Global Warming, Climate Change, and the Coming Ice Age

______________________________

It is fairly well established fact in to-day's Academia that the World came to an end sometime around 1996 or so.  AlGore said so.  He told the entire Planet that the United States was poisoning the atmosphere in such a way that life on Planet Earth could only exist another 12 years.  And, of course, he was right.  We are all dead.   The elephants, the mosquitos, the kitty-cats, the earthworms…everybody, everything is dead.
Then a flying saucer noticed there was one last Polar Bear on a tiny little chunk of ice.  The little chunk of ice was floating towards Hawai'i and the Polar Bear died too…in 2010…the last living thing on Planet Earth.   Incredibly, although it must be true because AlGore said it, it just so happens that presently there are four times the numbers of Polar Bears to-day as there were twenty-five (25) years ago.  But, of course, they are all dead as well.

The East Anglia University debacle, wherein and whereat a group of snotty professors fudged all manner of climate data to prove that AlGore was right, that life on Planet Earth ended in 1998 or sometime exactly and precisely, more or less around that time…came to an end.   Everybody knows it and that is why they have to keep it secret.

It makes Alice in Wonderland appear to be a function of normalcy.   AlGore flunked out of Divinity School and Law School, from two reputable universities.   George W. Bush passed through two degrees from two reputable (one time long ago) universities.  Both are dolts, in my opinion, with AlGore having the more severe case of Doltotis.    After all, after AlGore dumped his dumpy wife for a new honey, he bought the new squeeze a magnificent mansion right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, at a level that he himself said would be inundated by 30 feet due to Polar Ice Cap Melting, "…in less than 12 years."

WITHIN THE NEXT  12 (or twenty depending upon the level of stupidity and ignorance ofthe audience) YEARS THE ENTIRE PLANET WILL DIE DUE TO (choose one or more):  GLOBAL WARMING, GLOBAL COOLING, NUCLEAR WINTER, CLIMATE CHANGE, and MARTIAN RAY-GUNS DOING FRONTAL LOBATOMIES ON THE HUMAN RACE.
The above admonition has been refreshed by a nice lady from Austin, Texas…Citadel of Reason and Truth and other disorders brought on by the proclivity to believe in marxist and socialist cultural and political reforms.
Miss Julie Range was kind enough to submit to the Valley Evening Monitor, a McAllen newspaper, a Letter to the Editor that gave us the warning that we, as Texans, are killing the Planet again.  It is because of the wanton desire to poison everybody and everything with the burn-off of natural gas that occurs after the completion of almost every successful perforation.
Miss Range is kind enough to not include the sources of ambient and other earth contamination that contribute well over 98 per cent of said ambient and terrestrial blight.  Interestingly, over 80 per cent can be traced to two nations, Red China and India.  The remainder, almost exclusively, can be traced to permanently third-world nations that are mired in hopeless corruption, violence, organic law, and general jungle rules.

BUT!!!  We know that we can trust our informative friend, Miss Range, because while she lambasts the oil and gas industry (while folding in some slightly complementary comments) she cites the ever so reliable Earthworks company as some kind of standard for evaluating oil and gas production.  We are supposed to be disarmed when she rattles up the shibboleth that Earthworks is a "non-profit".   That title or qualification is proof that they are better than the foul people who actually produce wealth that can be distributed in an inefficient but very effective waycalled free enterprise.   Non-profits are things like the previous Soviet Union.

Miss Range expounds:
"Natural gas, plentiful in Texas, is an excellent bridge fuel from coal.  But, we diminish its value as a bridge fuel if we do not harvest it responsibly (?)  We must minimise fugitive emissions, the wasteful practice of flaring, and pollution of neighbours.
"The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says we have 12 years to cut our emission in half.   This means business as usual must change.
"Texans already feel the effects of Climate Change with more powerful droughts, floods, and hurricanes.  Industry needs to be responsibly regulated. Texas needs leadership at the Railroad Commission willing to put the interest (sic) of Texans above that of industry."

To which El Gringo Viejo responds:
It is a wondrous thing that there is a mass of humanity within the confines of the Republic of Texas that chooses to bray at the moon and jingle hollow platitudes so as to gain a sense of self-worth, no matter how unfounded their conclusions and beliefs.   Miss Range perhaps was born after 1960 or so.  Quite possibly she was born much later.
There were, supposedly, 11 buildings left standing.
Among them the damaged Baptist, Roman Catholic,
Episcopal, and Methodist Churches.
My point is not to say that I have proof that my way of thinking has a monopoly on the nature of the Planet's comings and goings.  I shall point out that during the period from 1893 up to and including the year 1900, my great-grandfather and my grandmother endured three huge snows and freezing episodes…in Llano de Enmedio, Vera Cruz State of Mexico…far below the Tropic of Cancer.   They had a sizeable property producing avocadoes, mangoes, even a little coffee and other tropical products…especially for the markets of Mexico City and Monterrey.   After these freezes and snows, however, they had to throw in the towel…it was a 16 or more year labour by my great-grandfather, and my grandmother put in several years there as well…learning Spanish by practice to a level of perfection, and learning two different Indian languages, Totonac and Huastec  along the way.
As an aside, please be aware that the Rio Grande froze solid on each of these invasions from the
An accurate count was never determined
although bodies were found as much as

North Pole as well.  Other freezes of particular note were those of 1949 and 1951 and 1962,  all of which did nearly mortal damage to the concept of citrus production in the Magic Lower Rio Grande Valley.   Also, with
reference to droughts…we went through the drought of 1949 through 1954, with a total for McAllen of 9 or 10 inches for the entire period…down substantially, I would say, from the normal 20 inches per year, more or less.   We had to irrigate with well water, because the Rio Grande had no water…and the well water was nice and clear, but it was very sulphurous. Not really good for citrus and vegetable crops.

And, if you want hurricanes, try on the Hurricane of Galveston in 1900…with winds estimated into the 200 mile per hour level.   No one could come up with a good count but it was "estimated" that between 7,000 and 13,000 people died in that event.

So, and therefore…allow this humble writer to suggest that Miss Range, who is quite obviously ignorant of even relatively recent history, is also obviously not competent to advise us, the unwashed, stupid, neanderthal, reprobate, slobs about matters of climate change.   My eldest brother was the head of the College of Geology and Geography of Louisiana State University.  He was, among other things, a court certified expert on matters of Earth -  Solar relationships, Climate, and Weather, among many other things.   He and those who had no political agenda scoffed at the ridiculousness of this movement about global warming, global cooling, climate change etc… and he was correct.

Thanks one and all for your time and attention.

In defence of the reality and the truth….an admonition to the President

___________________________

Corruption and ineptitude.  It abounds in Central America…it abounds in Mexico.  But, in the case Mexico, we should gently suggest that, while there is considerable corruption at various levels of governance in Mexico, there is also considerable compliance with the political and moral compact.
The very worst period was during the administrations of Luis Echeverria Alvarez (1970 - 1976) and the following regimen of Jose Lopez Portillo (1976 - 1982).   Mexico hit a kind of high water mark, breaking into the ranks of the First World, in a way, when they hosted the Olympics in 1968.  It was a great and proud moment for Mexico, although communist and radical elements attempted to sabotage the proceedings.
During the twelve years of the horribly corrupt and socialist madness, these two managed to take a 12.50 to 1 peso and leave it to where it would wind up at 3,000 to 1.  That was quite an accomplishment.  Industry sputtered, the standard of living suffered, and the national will became increasingly pallid.  It took three terms, and bi-partisan at that, beginning with Ernesto Zedillo y Ponce de Leon of the PRI, then Vicente Fox Quesada of the PAN, and Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, also PAN, Mexico burst upon the stage of the Greatest Show on Earth, the international market place (The Partidido de Accion Nacional is analogous to the American Republican Party).  Zedillo Ponce de Leon was PRI…a centrist party…but he was a conservative member of that party's configuration and composition.

The biggest problem the Mexican officialdom has right now, besides trying to stay ducked behind the bar while Yosemite Don shoots up the saloon, is the insane and violent nature of the traffickers of humans and drugs.   It is a combination of activities that has rotted out Honduras and El Salvador…nice little places not long ago…and it has damaged the cultural fabric of the once stable nation of Guatemala.

Of interest is the fact that Mexico has been seriously embroiled in this matter for ten years now, with considerable numbers of the Mexican cartels' membership actually being from Central America.   The fall of much of the cocaine production business in Colombia (although there is a bit of a resurgence) was replaced by an active Red Chinese drug exporting business aimed at the United States.
Some wise men sanctimoniously say that this act is designed as recompense for the flooding of China with opiates by the Brits.   Considering that Chairman Mao Tse Tung ordered the assassination of over 30,000,000 Chinese after the fall of the Chiang Kai-Shek's government in 1949, perhaps the Opiate matter should not have been all that important.   But, as we know, all such things of the Orient are inscrutable.  Perhaps the Red Chinese will learn how to be open and above-board like the Democrats and other leftists in the American Government.  Come and Brennan and (Sir Edmund) Hillary, anyone?

NOW TO THE ADMONITION OF AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT:

The President of the United States is apparently unaware that the State of Tamaulipas is presently enjoying the presence of nearly 13,000 various types of police and military, over and above what "used to be" a normal rural police presence.   Many cities and small towns have either replaced the local constabulary with an elaborate and heavily armed and well-trained Army and Naval Infantry presence.  These bodies with bristling automatic weapons and heavier armament and reliable augment a new Federal Civilian Police (actually an extension of the Army) who are also well-trained and who have an excellent understanding of forensic investigation and judicial evidential analysis.
This is a scene that shows a pandilla (gang) of
allies of Joaquin who were "deactivated" by the
Mexican Army, special operations unit.
The majority of the detainees were from Central
America, especially Honduras.

The President of the United States is apparently unaware that the Mexican military has inflicted, during just the past three years, well over 1,000 killed and wounded cartel and organised criminal operatives, and have been involved  in the arrest of significant personalities within that organised crime sector numbering over 2,500 individuals.
In many cases…unheard of twenty and thirty years ago…individuals apprehended by these forces who had warrants and requests for extradition to the Republic of Texas and to States in the United States and to the entity of the Department of Justice of the United States of America HAVE BEEN EXTRADITED to those entities, as requested, up to and including the famous Joaquin Guzman Loera.

There is a sardonic joke that Mexicans recount, even as they remember that Sean Penn and various Mexican counterculturists was adored "El Chapo" like the strata of mentally and socially retarded swine who thought (or think) that "Bonnie and Clyde" were American Folk Heroes.  They weren't, folks.  They were murderous swine.
El Chapito became used to this part of being a
billionaire.

In the saloon, a fellow is swaggering around and telling everyone who will listen that "El Chapo" is a great man, "He is a personal friend of mine.  It is a sin that they shipped him to to Gringoland.   El Chapo should be King of Mexico!!!  Just think…he escaped from prison twice!!!!   That proves he has resources!! That proves he is too great to be detained!!
Another man, tired of the drunk's ranting, pauses and then asks the drunk admirer of El Chapo, "He is very smart…perhaps that is true.  But if he escaped twice, how come he was captured three times?"

The assembled group returned to their beer and tequila and dominoes…gossiping about Juan's wife and Jose's lucky chance with his Loteria Nacional win of one million pesos.   The trio came back around with tunes that pleased the people while the loud-mouth eased slowly out the front door.

A convention of paragons of righteousness and good

____________________________

Sean Penn, one of the great intellectual moralists in the history of Planet Earth had just had "relations" with the woman pictured on the left…according to her.  She, of course, is the wife of "El Chapo" pictured between the two paragons of virtue and selflessness.
Sean, being the beacon of truth and light who reminded everyone that Cuba was also the beacon of righteousness to guide the world in these troubled times declared himself to be a "journalist".  This, of course, was something which is appropriate because none of the other "journalists" who are working in "journalism" have any idea what "truth", "righteousness" or "journalism" mean as words in this universe and at this time.

He, as most "journalists" during these times, thinks that journalism is the process by which one ridicules and generally makes fun of normalcy, decency, and responsibility.   Sean, after gaining information for his story, launched his career and has since scored many, many scoops.  He seemed to have misunderstood that "scoops" was not something we were associating with walking the Great Dane.

A FINAL  REQUEST OF THE ADMIRAL OF THE SHIP:

PLEASE,  Mr. President…understand that private negotiating with Mexicans is much better for your purposes than browbeating them in public.   Furthermore, to say that they are doing nothing is simply not true.
Truth is made from Copper, Silver, and Gold.   When you say that the Mexicans are doing absolutely nothing about this, you are spitting rancid mucous that makes no sense at all to people who support you but also have a reasonable understanding about Mexico and the Mexicans.  Scores upon scores of Mexican soldiers have died in this fight…and scores and scores of honest Mexican cops and semi-honest cops have died in this fight…fighting for the Right and the Moral.
We have property in Mexico, and we have a long intergenerational industrial, business, and commercial relations with Mexico and the Mexicans since the 1880s.  They are not all saints…but about 90 per cent of them could qualify as assistant Saints.

We beg your indulgence, and we beg that you think strategically and not tactically.  Thanks to our readers and thank you, Mr. President.

If I Were the Devil: Paul Harvey

Points of View…Points of Fact…Trump, the "caravans"…strategy and tactics

___________________________

(1)   Some days back Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) declares that he agrees that Mexico can and should help restrain the crowds of unqualified "migrants" striving to gain the system in terms of passing across the Mexican / Texas frontier and continuing on to their hidey-holes in the various dark corners of the United States of America.
The Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard, toned that down a bit, suggesting that Trump is beating a demographic-political drum for domestic political reasons and adding, extraneously that ,"We, Mexicans are great neighbours…there are one-and-a-half million Americanos living in Mexico who have chosen Mexico as their home."

Then Trump declares that he is going to shut down the border next week, and that he is not kidding.  He even threatens that he will keep the border "...closed for a long time".    Trump also states that the Mexicans have done nothing to stem the tide.

It is painfully obvious that Trump knows very little about what is going on, say in Tamaulipas, the State adjacent to McAllen, Laredo, and Brownsville, and where the bulk of the invaders are invading and committing the purposeful sham of declaring the need for asylum in the United States of America.   The route from  McAllen / Reynosa down to our little adobe hut in the middle of NoWhere, Mexico is about 240 highway miles…I drive it frequently.
The military presence along the route is massive.   Presently there is an overall deployment  of over 9,600 heavy infantry from the Army and from the Naval Infantry…both bodies are engage frequently in detaining and literally combatting the cartel people.  There are casualties aplenty.   Thankfully, our team escapes with very few soldiers killed and very few wounded.  Most of the casualties are with the cartel people.
One problem the military has is they have restrictive rules of engagement now, very similar to the American military.   Another problem is, of course, that our side has to take extra caution concerning collateral damage among the populace…their lives and pertinences.
The Federal Highway Patrol is ubiquitous, perhaps two or three patrol units every 10 miles.  And now, there are deployments of a new armed force, the National Guard.   This group will be used to maintain permanent presence in areas with serious problems with the Cartels and with "migrants" who are swarming into Mexico and quite frequently committing numerous crimes as they slither to the north.   The Guardia Nacional will be more of a permanent group, not an auxiliary as in the case of the United States and/or Israel.

So that the OROGs (Order of the Readers of the Old Gringo) will know, there is little stock taken in the notion that the next "caravana" will be the Mother of All Caravanaswith 20,000 people marching to the north to gain their fair share of free stuff from the Gringos.   And, frankly, what they cannot gain for "free", they will steal, and make no doubt about it.
But, no one is suggesting that there will be that many people.   Truth be known, more people arrive independently in two's and three's and five's and six's than by the hundreds and thousands as a cohesive group.   The reason we have this crunch at this time is because the word went out that the Mexican military is everywhere and they will be distracting the Cartel people.  Also the cartels are apparently dedicated to the idea that working and co-ordinating with the competition is not an alternativethe job is to kill the other cartel guys.   That lay of the land helps the "migrant", whom I style as the "invader" because they are not migrants, they are invaders.

So, we find ourselves with a conundrum.   When there are several thousand real-live military and competent police in Tamaulipas, the Centroamericanos reason that it's a bit safer and surer to travel on a nice common carrier autobus at reasonable prices, en lieu of paying some cartel boss 2,500 dollars to "guarantee" delivery to the "otro lado (other side)".   All but a 50 - 50 chance of being ripped off or held for additional money (like ransom).

(2)  THERE IS A "SECRET SOLUTION":

The fact is the Mexican military could be used effectively in the area of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, a narrow waist-band of a geographic phenomena that could restrain hundreds of
thousands of people with the deployment of 30,000 troops.   Regarding the map to the left, one can see the green line drawn between the Gulf of Mexico  / Bay of Campeche to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the South.

The entire breadth of that line is 125 miles.  There are few highways, though they are high- mediocre to excellent nowadays, thereby facilitating rapid 1st Class or even deluxe bus transport through channels that can be supervised by military and illegal immigrant control fairly easily.   About 50 per cent of that line moves through territory that is prohibitive to extremely difficult or impossible for "migrants"to transit.   Canyons, heavy jungle, many mountains requiring almost the skill of Alpinists serve to provide a hazard zone folded into a labyrinth.
Culturally, the main problem is the Central American.   Criminality is not something that can be disregarded.  It is not something people can say,"Let's not discuss that because it could be offensive to some of the Central American people."   Please understand.   El Salvador and Honduras are hell-holes of depravity.  Guatemala is a bit better and it has a relatively sedentary, traditional Mayan Indian population that seems to live in a form of prosperous poverty.   But there are Guatemaltecos who fall for the siren's song of striking it wealthy in America.
It is estimated that 10% to 15% of the felonious parties in Mexico are from Central America.  Nicaragua is soon going to join the triad of "bad-boy countries".  Perhaps they will have to be a quadrad soon.   And before the reader declares that the Centroamericanos can pass themselves off as Mexicansplease discard that notion.   In almost all cases it is much simpler even than an American knowing that he is speaking to a Canadian because the Canadian says "aboot" instead of "about", and because Americans do not say "Eh!?" at the end of every phrase and sentence.  (American juveniles and adolescents do say "Huh?" more than any other deceitful response or grunting.)
But, the Central Americans have very different accents from Mexicans.  They also use different sentence constructs and they have different facial expressions and postures when speaking.   Mexico has several dialectic and accent zones but there are broad similarities amongst the 130 million Mexicans.  The Central Americans have dialectic and accent differences by the kilometre almost.
"I told you, Jose!  Be careful of the winds around Juchitan
and La Ventosa on your way through there!  But you did
not listen to me!  So, you're fired!!!" (And yes, this is
an actual toppled-over tractor-trailer rig that was
blown over by sustained 70 mph winds.)
And for those looking at the simplicity of simply going around the military wall in the south by taking little boats at night or whenever and landing to the west of that line, there is a bit of impediment; the problem?
For instance there is a town on the coast there with the name "La Ventosa (The Windy Place)" where winds blow almost incessantly and unpredictably.   Wind speeds just off-shore can be sustained at 30 miles per hour with gusts to 50-plus miles per hour just as a matter of the norms.   And…there is no real "windy season", it is pretty much a matter of the juxtaposition of the Bay of Tehuantepec and the elevations of the mountains that conduct cold, falling air in the upper-level easterlies.   It goes on all the time, almost.   It is one of the reasons there would not be a lot of folks making and "end-run" via the Pacific Ocean on their way north.

More later,
El Gringo Viejo

Aerogenerador se Incendia en la Ventosa, Oaxaca, Mexico 09-Noviembre-2014

These horrid vulture, hawk, and eagle killers are even death traps for themselves.  This particular monster caught fire because of some kind of lubrication failure…a real problem in the La Ventosa area of Mexico where the winds are terribly strong 80 per cent of the time.
We point out in our next posting that it is not a place where people can take a small skiff into the Bay of Tehuantepec and escape a possible terrestrial blockade by the Mexican military who might be trying to rein in the massive inundation of Central Americans trundling towards Gringolandia and the chance to obtain all the free milk and honey there.
Obviously, this "free electricity" system had a small problem on the way to the forum.   The reason a skiff is not in order is because the winds in the area and for some distance off of the coast are very, very strong and very unpredictable.   We are talking about 30 to 50 miles per hour being relatively common and gusts to 100 are not that rare…and it is not bound by seasons or moon-sign or the like.  It is due to a peculiar interaction with the land mass and the sea water temperature.

Times of my grandparents and some irrational rationality concerning elections and politics

(1)  The first photograph is my father with his pet racoon, obviously.   He weighed about 70 pounds and
was a veritable pest…very intelligent…and addicted to stealing anything made of silver or crystal - photo from 1920.  Notice in rear of scene, the T-model pickup.

(2)  The second photograph is of Norman N. Newton (1860 - 1930) and his wife, Esther Lee Christian-
Newton (1870 - 1931), my grandparents, standing in front of Valencia orange trees that they had planted.   I believe
that this was taken in 1921 or so.

(3) The last picture is here because it gives the reader a glimpse of a transgenerational collection…with the oldest man being Peter Bonesteel Christian and the other descendants of his. The younger ones  lived in Minneapolis
(actually Saint Anthony, the hootsie - tootsie city surrounded by Minneapolis and Saint Paul).
The photo was taken in 1921 at the farm of my grandparents…Peter's son-in-law and daughter.   I never had the chance to meet them, because they were all gone before I was born.

Some time backperhaps a year or so, I made the mistake of repeating a story from my father and my maternal grandparents and a large number of people who were of the same opinion.  Those opinions had to do that a significant political and banking cartel in  Hidalgo County of Texas had been what could be perceived as a bit opaque in terms of their methods of acquiring real estate.
Let us suffice by saying that the Depression killed both my grandfather and grandmother. They lost a fortune overnight.
My father joined the United States Army, being sent to the 1st Division of Cavalry (mounted), 12th Regiment - Headquarters Squadron, serving from 1929 through 1933.  He finished as a 1st Lieutenant.

It should be mentioned that the girl, Esther Lee, and her father, Peter Bonesteel Christian (1850 - 1930), were the ones who bought and lived on a medium-sized hacienda in rural Mexico, at a community named Llano de Enmedio, Vera Cruz, up in the mountains bisected by the Rio Pantepec…which flows to the Gulf of Mexico, exiting near Tuxpan, Vera Cruz.
The land was purchased, apparently in 1882 from an elderly military general who was a personal friend of Porfirio Diaz Garcia, Presidente de Mexico for over 30 years or so.
The property title held, but the weather did not.  In keeping with the prediction of AlGore and the Global Warmingcoolingclimatechangeweare allgoingtodieanditisTrump'sfaultandtheBushestoo, we had to yield to a superior force.
During the 1890s up to the year 1900, there were three massive cold seizures, complete with snow and sleet and temperatures falling into the lower 'teens.   Since the business at that place and time was the production and transport of oranges, avocados, mangos, and such things (even a bit of coffee), the Hacienda essentially died.  It would take at least five years to recuperate.
The old man stayed in South Texas, once he returned to the United States.  He was involved with the Washburn - Christian Mills in Minneapolis as a member of the board of directors and as person whose job it was to survey, on site, European industrial farming machinery and processes and what value might be found in Latin America in terms of food processing for the American and European market.

For those who wish to "understand" Mexico, it would be well to study the life, times, performance, and attitude of the man pictured to the left.   He was, in my opinion, perhaps one of the top 1,000 intellectually equipped men (persons) in the New World up to and including "his time".   General Presidente Jose de la Cruz Porfirio Diaz Mori conducted business in such a way that the leftist elements declared that it is true there was a great deal of progress in Mexico under Diaz, but it had left Mexico as the mother of foreigners and step-mother of Mexicans.
Among other things, people meeting General Don Porfirio for the first time saw him as a king or some kind of supernatural person.  He always described himself as just a humble servant of Mexico, and a poor rural boy from rural Oaxaca.   He was profoundly handsome and brilliant.

Much remains to be investigated about this topic and many others but we shall delve into those matters at a later time.   Frankly, it amazes me that from the "millennials" to the younger-than-them set, there is no cognition of anything that might have occurred before 1995.   And so many of them know everything.  And they drown in a swamp of ignorance.  Truly amazing.

A fellow shakes his finger at me and declares, "You were lucky that Cruz won, because BETO almost showed him the door."

My response is to myself…and to my OROG community.   Ted Cruz ran for re-election and won.  That is point number one.  The next point is that Ted Cruz raised 30,000,000 yankee dollars and spent a good portion of that on his re-election.   He had no opposition in the Primaria Elefante, and he perhaps overestimated his certainty of a positive outcome.   But not by much…

Robert Francis O'rourke raised about 85 per cent of his campaign funds from the perverse and degenerate sources of the extreme West Coast and the New York Upper-drawer, ''good people who care".   They flooded Robert Francis with 80,000,000 dollars of out-of-Texas money.
Bobby Frank went about, flailing his hands and arms, and saying nothing that didn't make no sense, nohow.  And people would applaud.   It was like a show put on for people from the "institution" down the road.

And Robert Francis O'Rourke lost.   Cruz in relative terms did not lift anything beyond his little finger…he still has a War Chest…and he gains more respect and deference each day.  He is a truly hard-working Senator…and…Cornyn, the Senior Senator and a country club Conservative Republican…has become more confident in being the conservative that he is in his brain and soul.   It is almost Spooky…how reasonable Ted Cruz has learned to express himself and how hard he works, travelling in flyways and byways  of the Republic of Texas.
And, how "down home" Cornyn has become, without sacrificing his blue-blood and position, the person we all knew.  We Texian Republicans…stuck in the federated Union with States such as New York and California…are fortunate to have two Senators who are articulate, hard working, and peculiarly dedicated to Texians' problems and solutions.

Your humble servant has had a couple of "periods of judgement" and he has spoken or written in  strong terms about those conservatives and Republicans who did not vote because Cruz was going to win anywayand to those who called themselves Conservatives but thought that a "Conservative"Democrat like BETO would help "balance" our representation in the yankee Congress.
In each case, such people with such comments to me revealed that they knew nothing about Robert Francis…his lack of any sense of service or philosophy or comprehension of liberty, local control, the Bill of Rights, and such.   Robert Francis is a construct of his father and his father's buds.   He has no philosophical moorings…and, sorry girls, he is not pretty.  He is uglier than Bobby Kennedy by triple, and he has no good mooring concerning his philosophical and/or cultural understanding.
He will finish in the lower half of the peculiar gaggle of ghouls, weirdos, wild-eyed LRNOZEPBYDE Restroom People who are running to be President of the Hated States of Hated America, Land of the Bigoted and Selfish and Racist and Bad.   Robert Francis cannot construct a comprehensible sentence or idea because he has none of that ability within him.  He is a play-doll of his daddy.
It is not a good campaign philosophy, but it seems to play well to the party that had people literally Booing at the mention of the word "God" during their Democrat National Convention in 2016.  Methinks I shall retire from being near them in the future, just in case there is lightning in the area.

In these times, it is necessary that we point out that the issue of the "migrants" coming in from Central America is not a matter of fairness, understanding of plight, understandable desire to have opportunity, or any of that.   It should be stated that your humble servant has considerable time in Mexico, on the Texas - Mexican border, doing business and owning property in Mexico, and so forth.  My studies at University were in large part dedicated to matters concerning the regions and nations being affected.
We would like to assure all readers that the people coming up from Central America are not "migrants".   They are, in fact, invaders who have made nations that are rife with corruption, criminality, perversion, violence, all forms of murder and torture and where there is no peace, no sense of anything beyond self, and where the social and moral code, almost uniformly throughout the populace is, "If I can get away with it.".
There is little religionalthough I know there are agencies representing themselves as Christian missionaries and brothers in Christ both down in Central America and in the United States.  Those in the United States who believe in providing sanctuary for these people are either frauds providing a theatre for the establishment of a permanent class of dependent,  violent, and indolent people or people who are deluded in the hope of being able "save" those poor, hapless souls who are trundling forth in search of a better life.
The Roman Catholic Church in Honduras, El Salvador, and to a lesser extent Guatemala has no real religious function any longer.  Changing the language from Latin to Spanish and allowing women to enter without mantillas or hats, etc. etc. did not improve or save the Roman Catholic Church.  The lower socio-economic elements long ago gave up on the rattling of the beads of Rosaries and observing the novenas and such, and like the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion in general, have devolved into social, not religious, institutions.
The Roman Church in Mexico still has a bit of the vestige of spirituality and moral purpose but, as in the case of America, it dwindles.    The fact is, in any regard, that these people coming up in the "caravans" (a ridiculous made-up word) are after one or two things.  Mainly, they are coming up because it became a popular affectation.   Leave and follow the successes of the Mara Salvatrucha 13 and the Callejon 18 and have things and everything because we want things and we hate Gringos and we deserve to have what we want and we want it now or else I'll call my cousin and he will stab your head with his knife.   We have arrived at that point.

And, of course, the girls are nice enough to come trundling up to the border with a baby in the belly and two or three in towperhaps babies or post infants not even related to the "mother".   And they will be sullen and complain about the food and the lack of accommodations and the lack of new clothes and the waste of time hanging around the Border Patrol offices when they want to go to Newark where their brothers are waiting in their Mara Salvatrucha secret clubhouse.
The women also know that it is very necessary to arrive pregnant or ready to become pregnant because once that happens and the baby is delivered on Terra Sanctus Americanus that they are "in like Flynn".   The baby is an American, therefore the mother must be allowed to stay because she is the baby's only source of care, succour, protection, and responsibility and so she receives MEDICAID, AID TO FAMILIES WITH DEPENDENT CHILDREN, FREE HOUSING, FREE KINDERGARTEN, FREE SCHOOL, and on and on it will go.
The males who are coming up, without attachment, are in their majority, criminals.  Most are on the run.  Many have been deported before.  Many have archives of violent criminal behaviourand we do not mean 2 or 3 per cent of them.   It is more like 25 per cent.   They joke about how easy it is to assault and steal from an Americanhow easy it is to steal things.   Almost all the males see females aged 9 and higher as "opportunities".  Most of the "single males" have no concept of paternity or family union.
There is no abiding sense of protection of the weak, deferring to the females, protecting  the weak or the very young.   It is their responsibilityas it pertains to 50 to 60 per cent of the single male population aged 16 to 40...to steal, gain unfair gain, deflect, and injure the most vulnerable at every opportunity.
Many of the "elderly" malesages 30 to 50have debilitating problems such as alcoholism, brain damage, mental retardation, drug addiction, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), various forms of venereal disease, and once againmany if not most have criminal archives.

At this point 6 per cent of the known adult population of Honduras lives in the United States.  It is reasonably estimated that 80 per cent of that population lives either on public assistance or criminal activity.  For 90 per cent, it is all they know to do.   The biggest accomplishment for most of the women is to wait for the Stork to come through the open window while the poor, beset-upon mother waits patiently for her ticket to paradisethe AFDC Gravy Train.

Ay! Gringo Viejowhy are you so judgemental?  Why do you ridicule these poor people who are only searching for a way outto have a lifeto avoid all the violence???

My answer?   Wherever they goHonduras rules will follow.   The gangs and cartels,  due to the purposeful neglect of the problem and inactivity of the Obama administration.  The lower instincts have long since taken root in Baltimore, Saint Louis, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and a hundred other places, large and small.   Their Mafia is alive and well and pumping out death, torture, and addiction to every 11 year old 5th grader they can possibly lure into the web of death.     And,  Yes, Virginia, there was a time when Honduras had hope and was a beautiful, disciplined placedcleannoblea large middle classrich people who earned their wealth.   Just a nice place on the maplike Costa Rica.  Many Gringos had places on the Island of Roatan, just off the west coast of Honduras's Caribbean frontage.   Many folks have told me that it was better than Hawai'i will ever be…but such talk is comparative.  Suffice to say that it was an idyllic place where a person never died…"…because they were already in Heaven."

That is all gone now.  To have a finca or poor mansion on the beach or whatever on Roatan, it is necessary to have a squadron of ''guardaespaldas"  (
bodyguards) with automatic weapons.  Much of the spillover from the disintegration of the Samoza regime in Nicaraguawhich brought on the devastating disorder caused by the Ortega psuedo-communist crooks (they followed the Castro Cuban model)has lent to the downfall of what was a corner of Paradise in the Americas.    It seems to be the mission of the communists and the nihilists to destroy Venezuela with false gods like Chavez and Maduroand Cuba with the Castro-Ruz brother actand poor Nicaraguaminding its business with a pompous dictatorbut truly duly electedlike Anastacio Samoza in chargeand after killing him.everything became better??????????????

Or was it like Cuba?   There we rid ourselves of a pompous dictator  like Gen. Fulgencio Batista who had put 600 people in prison for speaking their will!

Then replacing him with the Fidel and Raul Castro - Ruz show that began with the killing of almost all the sergeants in their own Cuban revolutionary forcesCastro's guysleaving almost 1,000 non-coms to bury themselves.  And, of course, over 12,000 political prisoners, housed in hell-holes of filth.

Madnessbrought on by the anti-soul of the Cuban Revolution...Chez'the front bumper of every T-shirt on campus, when worn by a mindless glub of a snork who thinks he is making a profound statement about "The Revolution".

A most beautiful country, filled with
 the most interesting people inworld
 in many ways.
Question, mister liberal arts student at Harvard -  Is Chez is your shirt-banner?…Do you know his last names and nationality?  Mexicano?  Cubano? Argentino? Espanol?   Was he Ernesto (Chez) Guevara de la Serna or was he Ernesto (Chez) Guevara Lynch?   Was he a graduated doctor of medicine?

Or was he just a rich-kid, spoiled person consumed with self-hatred for himself and for the rich and hatred for America?   Or was he just a compulsive, paranoid schizophrenic compelled to murder hundreds of peoplemen, women, and childrenas part of a sacrifice to the need for the establishment of social democracy?

It doesn't really matter.  The swirling winds of marxism and the withdrawal of the Central Americanand North Americanpeople from their basic Protestant, Orthodox, and Judaic
Lake Peten Itza'

TIKAL
catechisms has given us this problem.  The problem will either soon
be solved or the problem will literally consume us all…all our children…all our grandchildren…all of the future more certainly than any faux Climate Change disaster.

These people coming up looking for opportunity are not looking for opportunity in their 85 per cent.  They are looking for free goodies paid for by the common millionaires, the people making 50,000 to 100,000 dollars per year per family…people who work 40 to 100 hours per week because they have a work ethic.  Remember, fifty per cent of the Gringos pay 100 per cent of the Central Government's income taxes.

Thankfully we have many youngsters who are not going to Grand Universities of Great Note.  The overwhelming majority of our kiddoes are going to Community College, State Universities, and trade schools / apprentice programmes.   Underwater welders make 125 to 250 dollars / hour and can pretty much pick and choose their venues….pretty much, I said.
A master carpenter and his crew can make 6,000 dollars per week, plus the cost of material, on a major rehab of a private home.  Hair dressers who take their work seriously…between funeral homes, weddings, regular visits, etc. can make real live money in heaps and piles.   It is exhausting but rewarding work…all the above and many more "blue collar" and "professional level" etc. people are the ones who make it all "work".   Ivy League be damned…you began to lose your value in 1969 and your worth is now measured the number of "safety  zones" your campus has to protect snowflakes from having seen a "conservative".

Finally, and this screed will go on in the future to deeper and wider depth, this is not an anti-immigrant screed.  We are not "anti-Mexican".  We shall reiterate that we have lived, worked, conviviated with, enjoyed the entire Mexican thing.  We are deferential to a fault for and in favour of those people, especially Mexicans, Brits, most Orientals, even Canadians and other such people…who become immigrants, legally, with paperwork in order who come to America and be naturalised as real, live Gringos.

For instance I oppose the expulsion of a veteran who was honourably discharged from the service…but because of a serious misdemeanour or other charge…he is deported as an undesirable alien in spite of the fact that he had accomplished the requirements and been sworn in as an American citizen.   That is simply how I think.

My wife and I resent listening to people say, "We are all immigrants".   My wife's people and she have almost 470 years in the same territory, much of it what became Texas.   My people have brought me forward in this Continent for the past 380 years…we are not immigrants.  We were colonials…and we are republican citizens…not immigrants.  I have a daughter-in-law who is unlike Pocahontas Warren…our daughter-in-law is a person with real, live American Indian bloodline…she is not an immigrant…we are not all immigrants.

We celebrate all the other folks, and we are no better than they…Mexicans, Czechs, Poles, Germans, Orientals of many,  many stripes (all interesting), Scandinavians, Brits, Canadians, and on and on…like the Italians and Spaniards…and not the least of which are the people of Black African ancestry, Russians, even Australians.   Let us all make a joyful noise unto the Lord for them having been sent to us.

BUT NOT PEOPLE WHO COME WITHOUT INVITATION, WITHOUT PAPERS, WITHOUT ENTRY VISAS ISSUED BY THE CONSUL IN TEGUCIGALPA, OR GUATEMALA CITY, OR SAN SALVADOR,  WITHOUT MEDICAL RECORDS, WITHOUT PROOF OF WHO AND WHOM THEY ARE, AND WITHOUT CERTAINTY OF A CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD…ETC. ETC. ETC. AND WHO THEN DEMAND ENTRY…WHEN THE MARA SALVATRUCHA 13,  AND CALLEJON 18 HAVE BEEN TURNING MUCH OF THE AMERICAN URBAN SITUATION INTO ANOTHER CENTRAL AMERICAN HELL-HOLE.

NO MAS NO!!! SE DICE… NO MAS NO!!!!
