A few small points....

     No, Miss Fluke, you do not have the right to require that anybody be forced to pay for the restringing of your tennis raquet.    You can go before any psuedo-committee you might wish and employ your 11 year-old girl's voice to decry the utter horrors you have had to suffer because nobody will pay for your designer jeans or special Canadian peanut butter, but it still is a preposterous, arrogant demand.

     Women do not have the right to have their ears lobes pierced because Nancy Pelosi says so.   Men do not have the right to have their golf clubs re-chromed because Barack Hussein O'bama says they do.    If, in your heart of hearts, you actually believe that you, or any woman, has the right to demand that someone other than you, yourself, pay for your contraceptive procedures, then you are a narcissistic, arrogant twit.

      Why would you think that you can demand money from some other woman who is actually living a realistic, worthwhile life, so that you could avoid paying your own way?

      The entire left wing of the political spectrum, when speaking of "women's health" and "women's issues" are deranged.    It brings to mind the image of Dr. Lewinsky, who stormed into Washington, D.C. well into the developing issue pertaining to his daughter.   His daughter was another self-absorbed twit who had tantrums, spoke openly and loudly about her "intimacies" with the President, and generally behaved like spoiled, conceited child.   One learned quickly why the girl was ruined at birth.   Her father is/was a liberal atheist.   Upon arrival in Washington, D.C. he quickly pointed out that he was here to defend his daughter from...Bill Clinton....?    No, he had arrived to defend his daughter from Kenneth Starr.

      His daughter was a twit.   His daughter had behaved in a manner that could only be described as 125% inappropriate.    The white-trash, plastic man, wholely invented as a true person by a lap-dog marxist press. who occupied the White House at the time had continued true to perform in his role of a whore, advantaging himself of the pitiful, chubby little trollip.

      But Dr. Lewinsky, a liberal, blamed.....Kenneth Starr.    He was going to protect his daughter from Kenneth Starr, not William Jefferson Blythe.   Such is the logic of a liberal.

     Next come Valerie Plame and her incredible husband, Joe Wilson.    Miss Plame (or Mrs. Wilson, one never knows how to address these people) whines and moans that Karl Rove "exposed" her as a CIA agent, thereby making her a target for all kinds of dangerous retributions.   She becomes, and to a lesser extent her husband, a great cause celebre among the leftist crowd....she is a Joan of Arc, a secret agent, braving the dangers of cunning and bloodthirsty enemies of America....as if the left ever cared about enemies of America since around 1966.    Although Vogue Magazine ran a cover article about her well before she was outed, in reality by Richard Armitage who has his own personal problems, somehow she became of martyr of the Inquisition of Scooter Libby and Karl Rove.    It all makes sense, does it not?    No?    Well, of course, it doesn't make sense to anybody capable of critical thinking.

     We then remember that stellar personality, Angela Hill.   Her troubling story about the horrible things Clarence Thomas did were amazing.   It was worse than Ted Bundy and Geoffry Dahmler all put together.    Oh!  The Humanity....!     The press had been preparing for weeks to air the pre-fab story about the horrible "harrasment" Angela and all women had been, were being, and would always be forced to suffer.    Of course, when it became clear that her story was like trying to float and anvil, the Molly Yard Liberation Committee came to the rescue and pronounced, "It does not matter if Thomas is guilty or not.   What matters most is the seriousness of the charges against him".    One of the finest moments in leftist logic, especially when they have their sites set on destroying an innocent person who might well not support abortion.   Abortion, abortion, abortion.   Late term, early term, post partem abortion, free abortion, drive-through abortions, abortions for 12 year old girls without permission from parents, abortion, abortion, abortion.  Abortion through Central Government force and power.

     Excuse me.   I mean reproductive rights.   Choice.   Women's health issues.   Margaret Sanger was so enlightened.

     The excerpts above are accurate in the sense that Knopf was not a Nazi or a Klansman.  But Sanger, Knopf, Stoddard, and others of Sanger's stable of elitist, socialist madmen actually inspired and collaborated with the eugenisists of the Reich to reach for the higher goals of racial purification and the elemination of the Hebrew Plague.   Bridging through to the present with the groups such as NARAL, NOW, Emily's List, Move On, Code Pink, the Amazon Battalions gather under the guise and cause of "reproductive rights" to continue the effort togain control over the lives of the plebian and insignificant creatures such as El Gringo Viejo, conservatives, Republicans, and those who generally take care of themselves and a few othes.....on their own.

The Girl Scouts of America now works closely with Planned Parenthood to advance the undertanding of reproductive rights among girls.   God is in his Heaven, all is well with the World?

Best to Remember - The Republic of Texas

     There is a lot of interesting stuff about Texas.   A lot of it is even true.   Sometimes the truth is left a little incomplete, sometimes it is embellished a bit.   On this little graphic, for instance, one notices that one of the flags of the Six Flags of Texas is the "Confederate Flag".   Almost all OROGs know that the Stars and Bars is not the "Confederate States of America official banner.   The picture below depicts the correct, official, and ultimate banner of the Confederacy.

     This is actually the flag known as the "Stars and Bars".    The other is a battle flag, based upon the Cross of Saint Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland.

     It is worth the noting also that Lorenzo de Zavala, the financier of the Texian Revolution, finally convinced the Anglo and other settlers and colonists in Texas that Texas would not be recognised if Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana, President and General of the Army were able to subordinate the Constitution of 1824 and establish a Centralist government.   He also convinced them that Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana was fully capable of delivering a force of 20,000 well armed and trained and successful soldiers in good order to the centre of Texas in a few short weeks, not months.   He was right.

     de Zavala was the inscriptor of the Texas Declaration of Independence, as he had been the one of the principal authours of the republican Mexican Constitution of 1824.    He was also something of a renaissance man, fluent in several languages, and a politically important person from the State of Yucatan.    He was also a Scottish Rite Mason.

     de Zavala was also the first Vice-President of Texas, thereby the President of the Senate and essentially secretary of the Government.   He gave 3,000,000 pesos to the Government, which in to-day's money would be roughly 50,000,000 dollars.  Without him, there would have been no Republic of Texas.    Would that he would return.

It is best to remember that the Defenders of the Alamo never knew that Texas had declared independence and withdrawn from the Mexican Union.  The Alamo fell on the 6th of March, 1836, four days later.   Their battle flag was the Mexican tri-colour with the number 1824 written on the center white field.    Some think that that banner was designed as a statement of desire to seek reconciliation with Mexico.   It was and it was not.
     It was first and foremost a statement of total rejection of the person and authority of Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana.   At best, Texas would never have remained withing the Mexican Union.   A commonwealth arrangement was possible.   Some dispute the fact that the 1824 flag flew over the Alamo, but it is well documented, even in the diary of Lt. Col. Enriquez de la Pena,  XO, First Zapper Batallion, which was the first group to breach the walls.   It is said that two flags were taken by the Army, one was the white star/blue field  of the New Orleans Blues, Volunteers, and the other the Mexican 1824 flag.    Some say the Lopez de Santa Ana had the latter destroyed, some say it was taken at San Jacinto, after the defeat of the main body of Lopez de Santa Ana's army and his capture.   Legends say that a collector probably has it to this day, hidden away.   I doubt that.

     The Mexican government returned the other flag just a few years ago, after it had been displayed in the hall of trophies in Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City since 1921.

Week's Best of the Gleanings of the Screeds

     The "letter to the President" below-included is a response to the announcement by Government/UAW Motors that 1,300 (actually more) people are being laid off because of slow (read, nil) sales of the Chevrolet Volt.   It will come out in the next few weeks that much of the auto sales rebound has been fleet buying and early replacement of the central government's transportation fleet for government employees.

     General Electric Co. has sent down orders that the employees buy VOLTs at their own expense or else.

The good thing is that VOLTs have provided
some training to local fire departments.

      Folks, people may tire of the Hitler comparisons, but this is the face of National Socialism.  Co-opt the heavy industry, the main labour unions, demagogue the fig-juice out of Jews, the rich, the Churches, and spend money on grandiose projects.   Denigrate traditions where necessary, and capitalise on them where you can.    Mobilise the state police to harass the opposition where necessary.

      It is to be noted that 45 or so of the various Tea Party amalgam of checkerboard, independent groups have several things in common, in spite of their self-imposed independence and locality.   Among those things in common is that they have all been sent a twenty page questionnaire from the Internal Revenue Service, to be completed in full before the 15th of March, 2012.   The questionnaire calls for detailed answers concerning associations and processes used by the groups....detailed answers.    This is the icy hand of the  Geheime Staatspolizei.

Some day soon if I’m running across the national mall shouting “Wolverines!” carrying an empty gas can looking for some of that “Obama Algae,” at least you can’t say you weren’t warned. This nations 15 Trillion dollar economy is entirely dependent on the creation, refining, distribution, and consumption of natural resources like coal, oil, and natural gas. Each one of these components intermingle in a dance of price, supply, quantity, and demand. There existence and availability is constantly perturbed by people of your ideological ilk that threaten these companies with onerous taxation and nationalization; up to and including, through direct threats and/or intrusive regulation. A gallon of gasoline should be considered a national hero. It provides us freedom of movement, and the ability to move about a great nation with a level of convenience only known to modern humanity.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that when a nation as vital as ours is to a stable and advancing world is; relies on a portion of the world wracked with insanity, like the middle east is and will always be, we are committing an act of insanity ourselves. We even set up a federal department to fix this situation, which of course, they have made far worse. We have all of the resources we need here to become self sufficient. We have the oil, we have the natural gas, we have the coal, we have nuclear power; but more then that we have the can do American ingenuity and positive spirit that has been and will always be our greatest weapon in defeating any adversary or national challenge.

Your administration has squandered billions on chasing the unicorn of the liberal free lunch, often referred to as “renewable energy.” One only needs to watch “Mr. Wizards World” to realize the foolishness in this pursuit on a national scale. I could build you a solar powered car, with a rechargeable battery, and then if I could find a human the size of Luke Skywalker action figure it would work just fine. Just so long as it never left the driveway. In reality, electric cars can’t work because of size and weight. If we abandoned the safety features of these cars they would work, and people buy motorcycles so why would they not buy those electric cars? I’ll tell you why. Because you look like a dork in one. On a motorcycle you look cool. But If you want an electric car it can be done, and somebody will buy it. But it can’t be done with crony capitalism, lawsuit city, and federal regulation, plus Ralph Nader in the passenger seat!

So you keep droning on about it’s not my fault. It’s not my fault we invaded Libya. It’s not my fault that we have destabilized Egypt who is possession of M1 Abrams tanks and F-16’s. It’s not my fault that tax receipts are falling. It’s not my fault that good Americans can’t find work. It’s not my fault that I’ve not done what had to be done to get this economy moving. It’s not my fault that I’ve so mismanaged NASA that we can’t even launch a capsule with an American in it without paying a gangster like Putin the vig. It’s not my fault that guns have been given to the worst of the worst because my attorney general ok’d the dumbest idea since the Edsel. Its not my fault that this war for one side of the same muslim/arab coin is lining up for a mushroom cloud. Would you like me to continue? Because I’m ready willing and able to do so.

“We the People” have taken enough blame from the likes of you. In short order, we are going to drive to those polls and register our firm displeasure. Even if we can’t afford the gasoline to get there.

I am ordering the institutions that employ people within the Roman Catholic Church to include free of charge contraceptive and abortion coverage within their employees' group insurance....thus spake the King.

     Then, after considerable gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair, "Okay, if that is not okie-dokie with everyone, I am ordering that the Roman Catholic Church and any other religious group that does not provide contraceptive and abortion services within their employees' benefits,  provide said benefits free of charge through a parallel private insurance policy.  Ihave spoken". 

Okay, okay....I get it.   Republicans and church-type people want women to be pregnant all the time.   The only way women can obtain contraceptive services is for such to be provided to them. They are so stupid that they cannot go down to the pharmacy and pick up a package of birth-control pills.  They are so stupid that they cannot go down on their own and determine if they want to pay 50 dollars for this brand at one store or go to WalMart and pay 6 dollars for something similar.

Don't NEED planned parenthood. Check out walmart, walgreens, CVS, etc. they all have lists of Rx's that are $4, $9, and even 3 months of an RX for $10. Ortho Tricyclene and Ortho Cyclene are both on the cheap list at Walmart for sure. If you are paying more than that you are not so smart.

      Now, this is a bit dated, but just checking, in person, at a couple of Walgreen's  (which are like upper-middle class convenience store/pharmacies) and at WalMart (which is like a working-class general store, with a pharmacy where a lot of rich people I know also shop), a girl can buy effective pharmaceutical contraception for as little as 16 dollars for a 3 month supply.    That is as of this date.

     This means one or several of the following things.    Considering that she says it will cost 3,000 dollars during her time as a law student enrolled at Georgetown, a Jesuit university of very high prestige that SHE  chose specifically because it did NOT have contraceptive coverage, so that she could make her so-salient point about her human rights.....

(1)    The young woman testifying before Mrs. Pelosi's committee is a lazy shopper, or...

(2)    The young woman is stupid, or...

(3)    The young woman is of the opinion that Americans are too stupid to understand that any single woman going to a prestigious university such as Georgetown, with financial assistance on top of all of that, certainly could afford to pay like the hoit poloi, or...

(4)     The young woman is an ardent communist who believes that everybody must submit to a plan by which the government controls issues of matters such as contraception and the method by which contraception will be financed and dispensed, or...

(5)     The young woman is an arrogant, conceited, full-of-herself thrippit who thinks that she is the first one to discern that all men are jerks and that she must save woman-kind from the slavery of patiarchy, or...

(6)     The young woman has an overactive interest in sexual activity, or...

(7)     The  young woman has slugs for bed-mates who do not think she is good enough for a cheap date at MacDonald's or to provide for methods of contraception for which she would not have to pay, or...

(8)    The young woman has not been to a Planned Parenthood Abortatoreum to pick up essentially free prophylactics and other discounted pharmaceutical contraceptives and her 2 X 1 late-term infanticide coupons, in the convenient drive-through near you, or...

(9)    The young woman is so self-consumed that she thinks that the government should pay or require someone to pay for her Bandaids, fresh asparagus,  roller-skate repairs, or anything else that comes into her obviously narcissistic, conceited mind or, ...

(10)   The young woman does not care that the beneficence of the central government has painted the Republic into a chasm of 16,000,000,000,000  (16 trillion) dollars of debt.   This means, that as an adult, she is already in debt by 80,000 dollars, but that she does not give a damn so long as she can obtain something for free that she should pay for herself, or...

(11)    The young woman does not care that her daughter will be left to pay off a debt that might total 100,000,000,000,000 (100 trillion) almost certainly ensuring that her daughter will live a miserable, spiritless, drab life of enslavement to her betters...the marxists elitists.

(12)    The young woman does not give a whit about any moral sense of self-responsibility or chastity or self-control or self-value.     She scoffs at such notions as being out-of-date and unrealistic.   She thinks that only her whims, erstwhile needs, desires, and demands are of any value, and she wants them addressed, now!    And, of course, she wants that guy over there to pay for them.   And that waitress over there to pay....and her parents to pay, and that guy over there.
            She scorns the joke about the aspirin between the knees as the best contraceptive, but.....you know what?.....It Works.    Even the rhythm system works.  Even paying your own way works.

     Finally, of course, we know that this issue was foisted up as a windmill to humiliate the Republicans.   We shan't brake lance against it.   We take your windmill and spit on it.   None of us care about whether this woman or that woman  uses contraception or not.   None of us have even thought about meddling in this matter which lies strictly within mates and within the mind and conscience of each woman.   The demand that this deranged young  woman makes of an institution that has decided the issue as a matter, literally, of canon, is what any reasonable person finds flabberglastulating.
     They are saying, "We shall tear down all walls of tradition, moral code, reason, dignity, and self-reliance in order to establish the Brave New World, and to destroy the productive, the rich, the wealthy, the believers in superstition, and those who believe that creation was not an accident.   No permit?  No baby!   No babies without a government permit!"

Nancy Pelosi was caught unaware this week when notified that
the College of Cardinals had decided to depose the present Pope and put her
in his place.   Her repeated demonstration of knowing more about the canons,
dogma, writings, and other Church law than the old Pope gave her the nod.
Unfortunately, during the 139th face lift, the liquid nitrogen effect did not
wear off as anticipated.    Vatican officials are putting the finishing touches
on a special 3,000 ton 24k gold mitre for Her Holiperson to wear at all times.

     We need to wake up in the morning....struggle through the routine....while repeating the following, "I shall not say that O'bamaham doesn't understand......   I shall not say that O'bamaham needs to understand.....     I shall not say, 'Someone should tell O'bamaham that more drilling in the deep-water gulf would kill about 5 birds with one stone in terms of the American economy".

    It is okay to finally admit to ones conscience, brain, and heart that Father O'bamaham is in favour of 10 dollar gasoline because he knows it will break the economy and destroy much wealth that is held privately.

     No one will be punished if he is fully confessed that he knows that  Father O'bamaham wants to raise taxes on the rich because he hates rich people.....even the ones who flood his campaign war-chest with money.

     We all make the that error of saying, "Why doesn't somebody tell him?"    We do not shoot back in the face of the stupid and the marxists that the reason for us having the mere mention of the contraceptive topic in polite company is because Father O'bamaham brought it up by "ordering" the Roman Catholic Church specifically that their institutions would be required to provide "free" contraceptive prescription coverage in the health insurance scheme of the employing entity.
     We remember Georgie Stephenopoulis badgering Mitt Romney during one of those "debates" not long back.   It seemed at the time to be a off the wall, obnoxious question with absolutely no pertinence.   At best it was designed to eat up clock time so that the Republican candidates gathered would not be able to talk so long about things like Keystone and deep-water drilling.    Or so we thought.
     It was actually seeding the ground for the coming blast from the marxists...."Women run for the hills, the Republicans are coming to take away your pills and chain you to the kitchen and bedroom!!"    The fact was that it was also a full-scale attack on Christian institutions and the beginning of the establishment, once and for all, of an Official State Church.    That Official State Church is the Official State Church.   The Pope is Father O'bamaham, and the saints are Margaret Sanger, Mao Tse Tung, Adolph Hitler, Joseph Robert Stalin, Woodrow Wilson, Eleanor Roosevelt, Fidel Castro, and the panoply of Utopians too numerous to mention.
