Rapid Fire Commentary

To begin, we shall start at the end, and proceed back to the beginning, where it will all end.  

 BREXIT and TEXIT:
    We support the retirement of the United Kingdom from the European Union.  It is a dirty job to sell a country to the whims of Fabian Socialists and mega-billionaires who content themselves with all manners of indulgence while promoting taxation of the upper-middle socioeconomic class and the poor-rich who might have a million or two dollars of "excess profit" or "un-necessary wealth".

     The Fabians....all socialists actually....dwell in the conceit of knowing not only what their lessers want but what they need.   They are continuously thinking up new and better "free" things that they can give the proles....something like throwing popcorn and banana pieces at the animals in the zoos.   Lamentably, there are boatloads of  barnacles arriving at every port and crossing who like popcorn and banana pieces, and 2-liter bottles of red soda, and lottery tickets.  Willing donors (of someone else's money) and willing...what is the polite word?....willing consumers.


FIREARMS CONTROL and CONFISCATION:
     There is danger in allowing people of such shallow deductive ability the authority or charge to simply wad up and discard any part of or the entirety of the American Constitution.  There is a large difference between republican governance with democratic participation and organic, democratic law.
     The Left is a great admirer of having law-by-decree.  Leftists are enamored of the convenience of an all powerful state-police, many tiers deep, that can enforce by caprice any and/or all the orders of the executive.  The leftist is an admirer of the "efficiency" of such governance.

     The "ruling document" of a leftist governance is apt to be a statement of rule of life.  A republican governance that employs democratic process does best with a constitution that limits the powers of the government while  recognising the general notion that local governance is best,  and that the sovereign is each man and each woman unto his and her self.  In the case of the United States of America, the beginning of authority, according to the Constitution that Common Law which applies to both Pauper and Prince is not derived from the Monarch, but rather, from the Creator.  
     That is how we replaced the monarchy.

     We are left now with the idiocy and demagoguery that the left so proudly wallows in.   We remember Nancy Pelosi telling us that the Occupy Wall Street human debris was doing "....the Lord's Work.''   More telling, when some despicable blob of white-trash scum walked into the Methodist-Episcopal Church there in South Carolina and murdered in cold blood nine cornerstone-type people, any one of which had a fingernail clipping that was worth more than the perpetrator of that horrid assault against humanity a little over a year ago.
     Interestingly, never letting a good crisis go to waste, the left and the anti-historical people immediately began to clamour for the removal of the Confederate battle flag from the grounds of the State Capitol.  Since, one by one, two by two, the demagogues and historical re-writers and the hypocrites have push, almost always successfully to remove any monuments or presence of anything pertaining to things Southern, and more especially, anything with a Confederate connection.

     We would like to bring to the table of discussion, for instance, the hag by the name of Carol Mosely Braun, who was terribly distressed as a United States Representative from Illinois, when the United Daughters of the Confederacy requested their renewal of charter so as to continue their work of attending to soldiers, sailors, marines, air force personnel, and coast guardsmen.  It had been a long-standing social/historical group composed of descendants of Confederate military and civilian persons.   Miss Representative Braun all but flop on the floor, clutching her heart, howling about how she felt so insulted that such a horrid group would even darken the door of the national capitol.  
     Before long, of course, she would set her own high water mark by numerous violations of the campaign finance law like paying her live-in boyfriend, a foreign national, 15,000/mo as a "campaign advisor".   She was involved in several violations of rules and laws, and finally was given an out by being appointed to an ambassadorship to New Zealand....by Billy Jeff Blythe during his last few months in office.  She went on to lose various elections and to always be found, like the Clintons, in or on the edge of some kind of a slimy legal mess.
     But by golly, she did manage to shame the Congress into not granting the UDC it charter renewal that it had held since the late 1800s....doing work for white man and black, Indian and immigrant, and especially for the soldiers returning with wounds from various wars.   Thanks Carol for standing up for....whatever.

     These people, trampling over the dead bodies caused by the light hand of the "understanding" of radical Islamic terrorists, shouting about how we must clear the shelves of "military style fully semi-automatic rifles."
     They keep trying to convince me that while thousands of people are killed every year in the medium-sized and large cities across this nation and are readily forgotten, the anti-firearms people leap at a chance to capitalize illogically on one single act of terrorism.   Democrats and liberals and Progressives do not like to bring up what their social engineering and un-earned AFDC and other public assistance has done to a once proud and independent people.   This year, Father Obamaham's precincts will make a run at 1,000 dead in "inner-city gun violence".  Many will be children caught in crossfires between soul-less sub-human scum, none of whom purchased any firearm according to the rules and regulations.

Why did they want the Confederate Battle Banner taken down for one thing and then gun confiscation and prohibition for the other thing?   There is no health....no soul....within the Progressive.

Hillary Trump vs. Donald Rodham - Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum - With a prologue to those who marched to War

Head is spinning:

     We are trying to stay ahead of reality.  Four of my old classmates have crossed over during the past couple of months.   This last one was somewhat bitter because his parent's farmstead was not far from my parent's farmstead (less than a mile) back when both were "way out in the country".    It was a time when there were many fewer buildings, homes, and structures.   It was a time when fields yielded forth millions of tonnes of oranges, grapefruit, tomatoes, vegetables, 

     When your humble servant skipped the 3rd grade,  he wound up in a hostile environment of huge children.   Some seemed to be nearly double the size of this writer at that age.  Richard was the first of the "guys" who came up and welcomed me, thus allowing for a bit of an easier slide into the class structure.   I remember the class as having about 38 prisoners.

     This buddy went to war....like El Zorro...and one's thoughts turn to those types who gave so much in a war that was more justifiable than those....Lyndon Baines Johnson, for instance...who foisted it upon us.    And at the end, that first friend of the fourth grade, was received in Death by no one save for an honour guard of three riflemen, a VFW Chaplain, a president of the ceremony, and no one to receive the flag, save a representative from the Land Commissioner's Office of the Republic of Texas who oversees privately held, veterans' cemeteries.

     The service was very cut and dried.  A small container of the ashes of the veteran, no family, no friend save for this distant one who is writing and my better three/quarters.  In seventeen minutes it was done.   The formalities had been served, and faithfully so.  
     There were those who went to war and served nobly and at greater or lesser loss. Its Lt..Jack Whetsel - KIA,  PFC Alfredo Gonzalez, KIA, (Congressional Medal of Honour), people like J.R. Hathorn (Airman, seriously dangerous out-of-theatre special ops) and then others who simply served when and where called.   Richard and I were among those.   Richard is gone now, but I shall tell his and the other's stories....reminding one and all of the meaning of sacrifice.

Hillary Trump vs. Donald Rodham:

     Take the common Mexican - Texian - Wild West "Riata"  or lariat or common cow-puncher's rope.  Thousands and scores of thousands of strands of sisal hemp writhing and winding together to provide a pull strength enough to detain half-tonne and heavier animals, imagine.

     The two people named above are something like that .  Both are strong, one with the strength of a wild and undisciplined  bull or bear, the other will a tenacity based solely upon a brew of conceit, mendacity, and mad desire for money.   Both share each the other's weaknesses.

     The great American economist Gruber noted well that the American electorate is "stupid".  On one hand they will vote for a candidate who's signature slogan was "Hope and Change".  Later they would vote for another party's candidate whose slogan was "Make America Great Again".  Now the electorate has the additional choice in this stew of septic discharge given to the American public under the title "....isn't it about the time America should have a woman as President?"  I mean, what difference at this point, could it possibly make?

     We are presented with an electorate that asks "Who cares?" when it is advised that  Hillary is reasonably suspected of being in the intellectual author and prime operator of things such as murder, embezzlement, operation of shake-down "fundraising" programmes, selling presidential pardons, fraud, removal of evidentiary matters pertaining to numerous felonies, abuse of women's interests in various cases pertaining to her "husband"and much more.

     We receive reaction of incredulity when we suggest that Donnie is an overstating clown, a carnival barker, a mediocre businessman who always....always....overstates his successes and predictably minimises his failures in business.   Proof?  Consider that had Donnie simply placed his inheritance into American, Mexican, Canadian, and UK paper, public and private, his net worth would be three times what it is to-day.  As it is, adjusted for inflation, it is true that his inheritance is worth only what it was at the time that he was awarded said inheritance, perhaps a bit less.

      Another oddity.  How does the woman who snickered about being that person who would "be there" when that dreaded call came at 03:00 hours reconcile herself with having been the drunken old bag who had to hide behind subordinates for days while the cauldron bubbled-up "The Anti-Mohammed Video" explanation.   The duplicitousness of such a manouever is flabbergasting.
     To think that a woman of such little worth, of so little fervour for the Right Path, can still stand before a crowd of dumpy old white women and shovel rotted road-kill intestines upon them, telling them, "I will fight for you!  Not those Wall Street People...I will teach them a lesson!!!"

     We are left with Donnie-boy Rodham and (Sir Edmund)Hillary Trump....two people who at various times and places have each stood on both or more sides of each issue that they presently accuse each other of having supported and/or opposed.   On occasion at the same time or at different times.

     Donnie Boy called out Lyin' Ted, Little Marco, Ugly Carla, Sleepy Jeb, and on, and on.  He blustered and bragged about his huge crowds and about how he would self-finance.   When he was repeatedly whipped during the in-fighting that is unavoidable during primary election processes, he whined that the Republican Party was rigging everything against him.   And further he whined that they were doing all of this for Lyin' Ted Cruz....the same Ted Cruz that had been the very first to take on the GOP hierarchy, hand to hand, for being willfully ineffective and collusionary with the White House and the Democrat minority in the Congrefs.  True enough Rand Paul had been involved in this before, during, and after.   But that is expected, is it not, of a Libertarian?  Cruz took his risks as a before, during, and after Republican loyalist.   And Donnie Boy said that the GOP hierarchy conspired with the one person they hated more than Donnie Boy of being in league in a conspiracy to block Donnie Boy's nomination.  It was a  lie in and of itself, and believed by people who are dolts because they cannot and / or will not think the issue through.

     In all of this I blame the education system for purposefully destroying the Traditional America, and for purposefully producing "graduates" incapable of critical thinking.   I blame the public schools and higher education institutions for having reformed their mission from education and preparedness to an operation of a Gulag Complex, an integrated Gulag Factory operation, producing zombie dolts.
    Further, El Gringo Viejo blames the interfacing of the above with the general laziness of the electorate in terms of thinking about the true needs of the Nation and of the States & Locales which compose that Nation.   We have devolved into the Shame of voting by race and ethnicity.  We have become slaves to the notion that we "need" this subsidy, those food stamps, this or that "help" from some public agency, especially those agencies pertaining to the Central Government and other locales that operate with infusions of "free money" from the Central Government.
     It is one of my greatest sources of sadness that when I hear the words, "....and it won't cost anything because we are receiving funding from the "Federal" government."  What banal stupidity.   Another fully semi-automatic assault rifle. 
     And now comes Lyin' Donnie Rodham, whining before the Republican Party and Establishment, and saying, "Maybe my deep pockets aren't quite as deep as I thought.  Since I have always spoken real nice-like about you boys....maybe you could see your way through to slip me a few hundred million greenbacks.....?  For the campaign, don'tcha know."

     It is one of the greatest sources of sadness that I feel when the words, "....and it won't cost anything because we are receiving funding from the "Federal" government."  What banal stupidity.   Another fully semi-automatic assault rifle just waiting to jump off the shelf and start shooting.

     Both of these hapless, hopeless, and flawed candidates leave us with horrible visions of a continuing ruin of America.   They are simply strands in the ropes that will be used, finally, to hang us all when the Apes take over.

     Cassius Clay had his good points, as well as other points.   Some of his points were sharper and some were duller.  However, the effusion of over-adulation for a man of considerable accomplishment, was still a bit much to digest for a reasonable observer.

The Greatest Boxer of All Time

    A lot of people have this title, "The Greatest Boxer of All Times" confused.  The Greatest Boxer of All Time didn't die recently...he died 47 years ago.  He didn't have 5 losses, he had 0.

  He didn't have 37 Knock Outs he had 43 (88%).  He didn't dodge the draft.  He wasn't a race baiter and sure as hell didn't convert to islam.

 He was a local kid named Rocky Marciano aka The Brockton Blockbuster (49-0). Don't let mainstream media idolize false prophets.

  When he was asked on TV if he could've knocked out Ali in his prime his response was so very classic and classy!!   "I'd be conceited if I said I could've, but I'd be a liar if I said I couldn't"

     This eulogy-like observation above pretty well summarised my feelings during the week-long orgy of casket-clutching and over-the-top funereal orations.   Oddly enough, the canons of Moslem practice require that the deceased be interred from one day to the next.   So all these folks who wanted to have their chance at the microphone were actually causing Cassius to be late for reporting for duty, "up there".

     We continue with our reportage and opining about various topics since our most recent return from our little hideaway in the middle of NoWhere, Mexico.   These matters will be addressed heater-skelter, due to the fact that, as a geezer, it is necessary to advance as something is remembered.

      There was a bit of a delay yesterday because of the better three-quarters requirement that we visit the Cathedral of the Roman Catholic of Diocese of Brownsville.   This is an easy-to-miss Cathedral.   Although there is ample parking in the middle of downtown Brownsville, Texas, it seems as though there is no  real rush of people going in and/or out.

     It is best that we comment about Father Pietre Keralum who was a "mounted missionary" and a brilliant, traditionalist architect.  His works, whether in the saddle or in the pulpit or in the design and construction of truly magnificent, if understated churches, are still legendary.   This fact is true after even well after 125 years have elapsed since his departure from this life.   More about this very significant preacher in the future.

    As an aside, we visited the Stillman House Museum....worth every penny and minute.  AND...we went to the old Oyster Bar in downtown, finding it pretty much like it was but up-dated (neither of us had been there during the previous 50 years).   It was all but a perfect experience.  Not cheap, but nowhere near expensive.  Service, food perfect and the ambience dull, boring, calm, and therefore also perfect.

GUNS and BULLETS

     We were going to start from the beginning and move back to the future.  The events in England however, with the death of the Member of Parliament, caused us pause.   It was relevant to the other issues, such as the people of Orlando, Florida coming into contact with Radical Islamic Terrorism.

     Reporters have little noted, and apparently nor long remembered, that their favourite example of a place without sin is a place like Great Britain.  Complete acquiescence to the notion that confiscation of firearms in private hands and possession, no matter how otherwise legally and responsibly used, was not to be permitted.

     The United Kingdom solved all that problem with this confiscation.  With the flooding of that United Kingdom with ''Commonwealth people" during the past twenty years, and the utter Islamisation of precincts as venerable as London itself, other forms of violence has become more fashionable.   Like the Irish Republican Army (a common, run of the mill group of marxists and anarchists), the Islamic terrorists turned to just blowing up busses and subways and people with bombs or whatever.

     Somehow the French, Belgians, and the rest of Eurolandia have managed to allow Radical Islamic Terrorists unbridled access to all nature of firearms and suicide vests and pressure cookers and  whatever else can be used to destroy infidels and heretics....especially homosexuals and heterosexuals and reverse retransgendered blimp pilots, (and people who can remember the lyrics to Cockles and Mussels, Alive, Alive, Oh!).

     Our point?   Please forgive us, but with the thousands of Draconian laws and controls on firearms of any kind, a person known to be a kooky-bongo, diagnosed and certified, can still managed to shoot and knife an MP who is campaigning in public.   Shades of Arizona.

     What the Brits need is a law against guns and the use thereof.  And we need to get rid of the other 17,000 - plus law controlling, restricting, and prohibiting firearms here in the United States of America as well.

     Since the best place for kooks and Islamic Radical Terrorists to shoot and kill people with alacrity is in some designated "GUN FREE ZONE", it would be best just to get rid of everyone and make the entire nation a ''gun free zone".

     We try to talk over the noise, although our interest in doing so diminishes with each of these events   We listen to people such as those found "hostessing" The View, who lament that "....anyone can just walk in and buy a fully, semi-automatic weapon".
   The left requires a vapid, insipid body of drooling followers or they would have no significant following.  Long I have wished to have enough muster to be able to post a sign at the entrance of every progressive school and/or college.   That sign would proclaim:

     As just a friendly....or not so friendly....aside.   We always like to point out that Obamaland, up on the north end of the State of Illinois, where New York Values and Chicago Values and Community Organiser Values meet in a friendly Progressive frenzy, there is almost total abolition of anything that has to do with anything firearms.

     This year alone, Chicagoland deaths by felony firearm engagements number 284.   That total comes after about 160 days.  Nothing is said in the national Obsolete Media...and very little of significance is stated by the local media.   Chicagoland is on a path to have over 700 killed by guns, that by law do not exist, because they have been outlawed.

     While there is a bit of wringing of hands, shredding of raiment, and sitting in the ashes....nothing is done....and frankly nothing can be done.  Midnight basketball?  Food Stamps?  Perhaps free housing? Let them eat cake?

     No.

  The sins of the fathers will be visited upon the first and second and third generations, yea! even unto the fourth.   That is what is happening.    With thousands of families having no paternal structure or discipline, and living almost entirely upon the largesse of the public exchequer, and receiving the shallowest of moral instruction or none at all, it is inevitable  that great numbers of the young will be led into the way of iniquity.   The young will stray and follow the evil, for they know not the good.

    Until souls are restored, or until all those who dwell in iniquity and self-adoration and gratification are departed.....there will be no peace.

     The ones most responsible are those who have sold these wretches into the slavery of public assistance so that they, the elite social progressives, can live in the big houses and have the gated entrances into their exclusive subdivisions with the armed guards.   After all, who would want to live around the wretches they have created?

A Beginning of a series of reports and opinions about Mexican and American political events...recent and future

The meaning of the Mexican by-elections, 6 June 2016:

     The results of the fourteen States elections were, to be sure and certain, a total loss for the venerable but severely dysfunctional Partido de la Revolucion Institucional (PRI) A few battles were won.  Some allegiances and multi-party arrangements helped them a bit, but the opposition, left and right, managed to convincingly win the war.

     The leading force in this "retaking" of the general political landscape was, thankfully, the Partido de Accion Nacional (PAN), Mexico's bulwark conservative party.   Suffice to say, it is a party with as many complications as the American Republican Party, with as many thin slices and types of conservative thinking as we have.   In this episode, however, there were obvious signs that they were able to  unify forces in mid-battle, and win, win, win.
      Tamaulipas, the State wherein our little home is found, has voted the "government party" way since the Mexican Revolution.  Even during the hiatus of the PAN's holding the Presidency from 2001 - 2013, the PRI managed to hold onto various of "their States", such as Tamaulipas and its neighbour to the South, Vera Cruz State.   Both of those States have not known a governor from any opposition party for over eighty years.

     We cite Tamaulipas, for one reason, because of its proximity as a border state to Texas.  It is also a powerful agricultural State....sorghum, honey, valencia orange, industrial and fine limes, ranching, and now even forestry.   It is a major....let us say, very major....industrial State with massive maquiladora outlays employing nearly 300,000 Mexicans.   There are also an estimated 30,000 Americans (Texans, primarily) who are directly or indirectly employed or tied into these industrial concerns.
   Massive fishing and major maritime shipping concerns, petroleum / natural gas operations and refining, and terrestrial transportation (freight and human) are folded into an economy that does in a week what the "workers' paradise" of the Castros cannot do in a year, even with three times the population.

     On top of these figures, one must also point out that 31 of the 43 counties of the State of Tamaulipas voted PAN for the office of Presidente Municipal (County President)....including Reynosa where a female PAN president was voted in to head the local government of Tamaulipas's largest city (1,000,000 population).  In all, eight of the largest ten cities/counties went for the PAN.
     To further show the sociological impact of this vote, twelve of the fifteen smallest counties voted PAN.

     The newly elected governor-to-be won the election with 51 per cent of the vote, with his nearest opponent gaining about 35 per cent.  The depiction of Garcia-Cabeza de Vaca we have placed here, speaks to the emblem drawn his maternal surname, Head (or skull) of a Cow.
    The surname is associated with a famous character from the Spanish Colonial Period, Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca (1490 - 1558) who was a survivor along with his valet-slave of a shipwreck probably just north of what is now present day Corpus Christi, Texas.   He and his Man Friday Esteban (an Arab), and two other Spaniards survivors of the maritime misadventures, dealt with very un-whiteman friendly Indians...but amicably and successfully in the final analysis....and walked from their 'point of disembarkation' all the way to a Spanish outpost presidio in a place that would become the international urban complex of Juarez - El Paso in these times.
   Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca's two surnames indicate that he was most certainly carrying large amounts of Sephardic Hebrew genetic material in his genes.  He was also a Spanish aristocrat, adventurer, and lived a good a prosperous life.....with setbacks and success.  He is a combination of El Cid and Don Quijote, (and let me add Jose de Escandon y Hilguera, 1700 - 1770, Conde de la Sierra Gorda y Governor-General of Nuevo Santander), a true and noble aristocrat as well as a type of liberal do-gooder (for his time). 

     We close this analysis with a bit about neighbouring Vera Cruz State.   There an alliance with the centre-left Partido Revolucionario Democratico allowed the PAN to carry the State against the PAN candidate's own first cousin being the "official" PRI candidate.  The PRI candidate was working with an alliance of four other smaller left-wind and "environmental" parties.   There the PAN carried the vote very substantially, spite of the fact that the PRI candidate declared victory on election day, early and often...but finally accepted that the PAN had won a decisive victory.

    Why the alliance between the right-wing PAN and the left-wing PRD?  Primarily because the PRD required only to be allowed to continue governing, if they were to win, in the counties where they had been installed and done good to excellent local municipal where there have been noteworthy community advances and improvements.   There are, to be sure, about ten or so such places in Vera Cruz State.   The PRD in Vera Cruz is decidedly un-like the near-Stalinist PRD's national complexion or the spin-off....Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's Partido Moreno (Brown Party).   Lopez Abrader is an old lefty warhorse who led the PRD to defeat in two presidential elections.  He was also famous for having caused traffic chaos in Mexico City for months, leading useless occupations of major traffic arteries and plazas.

     Finally, these by-elections might well become the coup-de-grace of the PRI.  The reconstitution of the revitalised National Action Party (PAN), showing a growing maturity, a defined and understandable mission, and really fine candidates seems to be prepared to re-assume governance and the willingness to continue the disassembly of the organised crime elements.

     There will be much more to-morrow, especially about the issues facing the American electorate.
