A fine time was had by all......The Quinta Tesoro de la Sierra Madre continues to return to its previous successes

We are awaiting the arrival of Spring, and after saying good-bye to our guests, we now await others who are arriving in a few days.   Our episode with the folks who left was very pleasant.
They were extremely adaptive and capable of self-distraction and entertainment.   Their questions were  top-drawer, in terms of intellectual process, and they could only be considered as intellectually top-drawer.
They intensely investigated the simplest characteristics of the community....walking considerable distance in the near-wilderness and the community, house-by-house gravelled  streets that connect the "secret approaches"  between the Hacienda de Santa Engracia, the Quinta Tesoro de la Sierra Madre, and the Hacienda de La Vega.
Our guests walked all those spaces, for almost three hours, spotting birds and butterflies - some of whom were of considerable rarity, and generally having a pleasant contact with the folks and the dogs and the cats and the chickens and all such that make a rural community on the edge of civilisation in Mexico.

After three nights and considerable contact and conversations....including a visit to one the most elegant homes of our little corner of neo-reality.....we had to say a regretful good-bye to our new friends.  Now, El Gringo Viejo is up to celebrate the new 29th birthday of my better three-quarters.  We shall also be preparing to receive and accompany our next clients to the Wonderland that is the Quinta Tesoro de la Sierra Madre and the cultural / geographical area of the Santa Engracia catchment zone of the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico.

We are hoping the Spring "reawakening"
will look like this in a few days for our
guests coming from South Carolina.
As we regard the ins and outs of the present pre-November General Election period, perhaps it is enough said that we have voted in the Republican Primary of the Republic of Texas, as it allows Republicans to vote in matters pertaining to the other Republic to which we pertain during these days.   Our vote was most assuredly for the Honourable Senator Cruz.

Bluntly, we regard the horrid clown and demagogue Donald Trump as a pretender, a shallow-plower, and a faded copy of something that came off of the Xerox after printing pictures of the Billy and Hilly Clintons and of Hope and her sister Change.  Imagine, if one can, that there are people so stupid as to believe in a slogan of  "Make America Great Again" after having been sucked in by the "Hope and Change".   Frankly, it means that the electorate of the United States of America might not be qualified to even marginally participate anything like self-government.

Zombies who are attracted to the notion of "free college" and "free medical" and to the idea that "the rich should pay their fair share" are truly not worthy of the title "citizen"....perhaps even of the designation of homo sapiens.   The Ship of State is taking on water quickly, and is carrying too many people on board who are not willing to bail water and make repairs.

More later.

Well...I am gone. We have clients for the rest of the month and then some.

________________
We have written vitriolic, lambasting paragraph after paragraph.  We wrote about the Irene Garza case, now that the supposed, and very probable murderer of Irene Garza has finally, after 56 years, been charged by the Grand Jury and the extradition of said perpetrator of that murder has been requested by the President of the Republic of Texas from the authorities in Arizona.
Then your ever-humble Gringo Viejo let go on the sorry condition of the the intellectual quality of the electorate.   The notion that that the government should be allowed to deign that from this group much should be taken and to that group much should be given.....even if the receiving group sheds that unjustifiably derived wealth on spirits, beer, lottery tickets, payments to "rides", and various forms of Cheetos.

Finally we ditched it all and wrote only what you are seeing before you at this time.

It was decided to say "So long for a while"....we have various and many clients coming to the fabled Quinta Tesoro de la Sierra Madre, for medium to long stays.   Thanks be to the Mexican Army and the Naval Infantry for having been the major force for re-establishing certain order and law in our area during the past four years.   Thanks especially to the administration of Felipe Calderon Hinojosa....the previous Presidente.  He, and his subordinates, bit the bullet. They began and extended the taking back of their nation from the anarchical and degenerate influences that are represented by the drug trade.   We have had three years of peace thanks to the Mexican military....and three years of paucity of business activity thanks to the hideous American press, including FOX Mews, AP, and various of the ignorant know-it-alls.

To-morrow, El Gringo Viejo leaves and seeks to prepare a comfortable landing for the first visitor/guests.     Then in early March we have other folks who will be staying even longer....and on their first visit to anywhere in Mexico.   Such visitors are to be given 100% and more.   These two seem to have sparked a re-birth of interest in bookings and other activity.

Therefore, I shall return in time to accomplish my absentee vote in the Republican Primary here in Texas.   Never fear.

These things are known....some do not care.....some have forgotten

If you're under 50 you really need to read this. If you’re over 50, you lived through it, so share it with those under 50!
When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over a health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a Democrat controlled congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million for studies, promotion, and other efforts.
Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female attorney general. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as “my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths of women and children.
Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection. When a little probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.
Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.
Many younger votes will have no knowledge of “Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours.
Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House.
Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.
Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the #$%$ eruption” and scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were:
She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. After the Starr investigation they settled with Ms. Jones.
She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor.
After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.
Hillary’s devious game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for 'lying under oath' to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.
Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.
After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had stolen.
What a swell party – ready for another four or eight year of this type of low-life mess?
Now we are exposed to the destruction of possibly incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation – we have no idea what shoe will fall next.
But to her loyal fans (supporters) - I guess in her own words “what difference does it make?”

Our outpost in Extreme Central Texas forwards this bit that is heavier than it looks at first glance:

Cleese says political correctness has gone too far, especially on America's college campuses, where he will no longer go to perform. The very essence of his trade — comedy — is criticism and that not infrequently means hurt feelings. But protecting everyone from negative emotion all the time is not only impractical (one can't control the feelings of another), but also improper in a free society. Cleese, having worked with psychiatrist Robin Skynner, says there may even be something more sinister behind the insistence to be always be politically correct.

John Marwood Cleese is an English actor, comedian, writer, and film director.  He achieved success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and as a scriptwriter and performer on the Frost Report.  In the late 1960s, he co-founded Monty Python, the comedy troupe responsible for the sketch show Monty Paython's Flaying circus and the four Monty Python films.

 For instance, John Cleese says:

I'm offended every day. For example, the British newspapers every day offend me with their laziness, their nastiness, and their inaccuracy, but I'm not going to expect someone to stop that happening; I just simply speak out about it. Sometimes when people are offended they want — you can just come in and say, "Right, stop that." to whoever it is offending them. And, of course, as a former chairman of the BBC one said, "There are some people who I would wish to offend." And I think there's truth in that too. So the idea that you have to be protected from any kind of uncomfortable emotion is what I absolutely do not subscribe to. And a fellow who I helped write two books about psychology and psychiatry was a renowned psychiatrist in London called Robin Skynner said something very interesting to me. He said, "If people can't control their own emotions, then they have to start trying to control other people's behavior."
And when you're around super-sensitive people, you cannot relax and be spontaneous because you have no idea what's going to upset them next. And that's why I've been warned recently don't to go to most university campuses because the political correctness has been taken from being a good idea, which is let's not be mean in particular to people who are not able to look after themselves very well — that's a good idea — to the point where any kind of criticism or any individual or group could be labeled cruel.

And the whole point about humor, the whole point about comedy, and believe you me I thought about this, is that all comedy is critical. Even if you make a very inclusive comedy.

Is this "situation" coming to your country?

IS THIS "SITUATION" COMING TO YOUR COUNTRY?

(forwarded by El Zorro)

Yesterday, at the hospital, we had a meeting about how the situation here and at the other Munich hospitals is unsustainable.  Clinics cannot handle the number of migrant medical emergencies, so they are starting to send everything to the main hospitals.
Many Muslims are refusing treatment by female staff and we women are now refusing to go among those migrants!  Relations between the staff and migrants are going from bad to worse.  Since last weekend, migrants going to the hospitals must be accompanied by police with K-9 units.
Many migrants have AIDS, syphilis, open TB and many exotic diseases that we in Europe do not know how to treat.  If they receive a prescription to the pharmacy, they suddenly learn they have to pay cash.

This leads to unbelievable outbursts, especially when it is about drugs for the children.  They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words:  So, cure them here yourselves!  So the police are not just guarding the clinics and hospitals, but also the large pharmacies.
We ask openly 'where are all those who welcomed the migrants in front of TV cameras with signs at train stations?'  Yes, for now, the border has been closed, but a million of them are already here and we will definitely not be able to get rid of them.
Until now, the number of unemployed in Germany was 2.2 million.  Now it will be at least 3.5 million.  Most of these people are completely unemployable.  Only a small minimum of them have any education.  What is more, their women usually do not work at all.  I estimate that one in ten is pregnant.   Hundreds of thousands of them have brought along infants and little kids under six, many emaciated and very needy.  If this continues and Germany re-opens its borders, I am going home to the CzechRepublic.  Nobody can keep me here in this situation, not even for double the salary back home.  I came to Germany to work, not to Africa or the Middle East!
Even the professor who heads our department told us how sad it makes him to see the cleaning woman, who has cleaned every day for years for 800 euros and then meets crowds of young men in the hallways who just wait with their hands outstretched, wanting everything for free, and when they don't get it they throw a fit.  I really don't need this!  But I am afraid that if I return home, at some point it will be the same in the Czech Republic.
If the Germans, with their systems, cannot handle this, then, guaranteed, back home will be total chaos.  You - who have not come in contact with these people have absolutely no idea what kind of badly behaved desperadoes these people are, and how Muslims act superior to our staff, regarding their religious accommodation.  For now, the local hospital staff have not come down with the diseases these people brought here, but with so many hundreds of patients every day this is just a question of time.
In a hospital near the Rhine, migrants attacked the staff with knives after they had handed over an 8-month-old on the brink of death, who they'd dragged across half of Europe for three months.  The child died two days later, despite having received top care at one of the best pediatric clinics in Germany.  The pediatric physician had to undergo surgery and the two nurses are recovering in the ICU.  Nobody has been punished.  WHY?
The local press is forbidden to write about it, so we can only inform you through email.  What would have happened to a German if he had stabbed the doctor and nurses with a knife?  Or if he had flung his own syphilis-infected urine into a nurses face and so threatened her with infection?
At a minimum he would have gone straight to jail and later to court.  With these people so far, nothing has happened - WHY?
And so I ask...  Where are all those greeters and receivers from the train stations?  Sitting pretty at home, enjoying their uncomplicated, safe lives.  If it were up to me I would round up all those greeters and bring them here first to our hospitals emergency ward as attendants!  Then into one of the buildings housing the migrants, so they can really look after them there themselves, without armed police and police dogs, who, sadly today, are in every hospital here in Bavaria.  Once again:

Is this "situation" coming to your country?
This Czech doctor did not think that she would ever see it in Germany.
But....she did...
