The Dogs of the Hacienda de La Vega

So much of the human condition is represented by the amount of self-imposed slavery a person is willing to endure that it is necessary at times to remember our four-footed masters and mistresses who require so much and give so little

     Here, to the right, one can see the Rhodisian Lion Hound mommy-dog, hiding out in plain sight at the Quinta Tesoro de la Sierra Madre.  She is taking a respite from attending to her six pups who live over at the Hacienda de La Vega, about 200 yards away.  She is a frequent visitor to the Quinta and really likes doggy treats.



     In this photo, we find Rafael feeding his pups, along with his overseer, Ciro.  The Quinta's dog, Bebe the Labrador is busy posturing against one of Guera's brothers.  She has two huge brothers who look viscous, but are actually quite even-tempered.

   These six-week old male pups are also quite even-tempered.    They eat and sleep.  The closer one is called a "white" Rhodisian because of his very light tannish hue.  Both already exhibit the characteristic cross-growth along the spine that is a characteristic of these hounds.  They were bred for home defence against the great cats of the interior African jungles, and while genuinely mild mannered, they are vicious defenders of the home.   Their size  is a bit less than a Great Dane, but larger than a German Shepherd, for instance.







   This is just a bit of a departure from the normal fare for the OROG, to show that other loose cannons and bats wander around inside my little grey cells than my concern for the American Republic.

Waves batter the White House while Republican leadership cowers

      The most discerning voters, in the main, voted during the last electoral process.  They waded through the "war on women", the "Republicans are racists and need a big tent or else" and "the Obama Socialised Medicine Initiative is settled law", olus a myriad other ridiculous charges.  They threw their best "raise the minimum wage" and the "Republicans are going to pass pro-lynching laws" and "Republicans are going to cut your help and Obama checks".

     Once again, the discerning and the ideologically rational went ahead and voted Republican, even though at times it was like using mayonnaise in lieu of salsa picante.   There was little hope that the Republican leadership and their friends and allies such as George Will and Brit Hume and Karl Rove would genuinely take faith, strap on their armour, and take to the front.

 

     As El Gringo Viejo sits in his darkened corner and nibbles on his NoDoze and sips on his Air Wick, so do the Correct and Moderate Republicans.  So we are treated to a bunch of old, white, and chubby men wobbling over to the warehouse and pulling out the made in Red China Trojan Horse, wiping it down, oiling the axels, to be redeployed.   Redeployment means rolling the trusted Beast once again into the mass of snake handlers and blue collar rubes who just call themselves Republicans, and then pouring out the army of real Republicans into the talking head battlements to lecture the unwashed, one more time.

     I remember Romney's campaign having skilfully snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in 2012.  We were admonished to either induct more "Hispanics" into the GOP or we would be ushered into the dustbins of history within 48 hours.  Even our best friends, the ultra-leftists and the progressives and the Save the Elephants chapter of the Democrat Party came forward to give us grief counselling on a pro-bono basis.

     When the Majority Leader-in-waiting declares that there will be no budget battle nor will there be any challenge to Obama's illegal and unconstitutional immigration "reforms",  we begin to have that old, familiar feeling....of nausea.   We begin to wander aimlessly through all those old, familiar places that brings to mind not only what could have been, but also most certainly should have been.

     It is a simple matter in this days to reach out, over, into, through, and among the hoi polloi and hobnob without permission from the Obsolete Media, Michelle Robinson, or Nancy Pelosi.   It would be well to put the "close down the government" argument precisely where it belongs:   on the backs of the deceptive, deceitful Democrat scoundrels.  Mitch, and John, and Ted, and Bill, and Mario, and Mitt, Ben, and twenty other heavy-duty Republicans could make all kinds of ready-to-distribute quick messages to explain to all what the truth of the issue is, and how Valerie Jarrett is involved in the mess along with people who say, "We have to vote for it in order to find out what's inside of it".

 

     It requires shaking off the phobia about being accused of shutting down a government that 60 per cent of the nation detests and that 30 per cent is dependent upon.  If we do not show strength, resolve, and purpose then why should anyone follow us?

     The rule must be:   The only "immigration reform" that will be endorsed by this Congress will be the absolute requirement and certainty that all efforts will be directed to the successful sealing of the two international borders, all airports, train stations, and other such secondary sites against the unwanted intrusion of people not qualified for entry into the United State of America.

     Further, the new Congress should assert that the various States must be allowed to devise adjunct laws that do not contradict the newly established, legal, and Constitutional laws enacted by said Congress.  Sanctuary areas must be declared illegal, and no illegal alien can have any prerogative of any kind to expect that his and/or her baby is an American citizen simply due to the fact that said baby was delivered over American soil.

   If these measures are not established we shall see the invasion of people who will cause an imitation of that bleak period of the Roman Empire that endured in decline for eight or ten generations and then finally collapsed upon its own weight.   When the time came to turn out the lights in Rome, it was directly due to a 10 year episode of hostility between the heavily ethnically diluted Romans and the Germanic group we know as the Vandals.  Thence the term vandalism in to-day's lexicography can be explained.

    There is nothing good to come of being "fair".  For, if we are "fair", the ruin will fall upon us all.  Both the recently arrived and those who have many....perhaps scores...of generations buried in the soil of this Continent.  This would be a miserable commentary on the type of governance we practice, with politicians such as Obama being so willing to sell a fine horse for a couple of packages of Nicorette.  

    It is a time to be bold and decisive and to defend the Republic for the good of all.  Why so for all?   One need only ask, "If America is severely weakened by the need to care for a new batch of huddled masses....who will care for the huddled masses elsewhere?''

Royalty Unhinged: Why Obama must be opposed on "immigration reform".

     It is very necessary for us to be resolved in this matter of King Barry's initiative in the area of what is styled "immigration reform" in these times.   The entire matter has become essentially a power play by Progressives to further deteriorate the body politic of the United States of America.

   It is a matter of some head-scratching, morbid humour to note that the left in America has swung back and forth, wildly, depending on the style of the moment, the time of the month for Margaret Sanger's followers, and how the Yankees wanted to deal with the "African Problem".

     Sanger's great desire was to eliminate the Negro Race from the Continent, along with Mexicans of any kind, most Southerners, Jews, and broad swaths of people of eastern and southern European ancestry.  This early-model Hillary felt that Mongolians  and all other funny looking people who ate a lot of rice needed to be kept out of the United States at the very least, if not off the face of Planet Earth.   Ergo, the prototypical founder of Planned Parenthood and mother of was integral in the establishment of organisations that were dedicated to getting rid of the inferior masses.

     But, a sister-ideology was afoot, also leftist.  It was more interested in the destruction of the British Empire and its royal house, along with the United States of America.   So, it was more important to them to intertwine various ethnic and racial groups into a cadre of hatred for America.   These folks, mainly out-and-out card carrying Communists under the control of the Kremlin worked tirelessly to build this matrix of sedition.

    As is extracted from Wikipedia's general synopsis, we pass along:

     Du Bois rose to national prominence as the leader of the Niagara Movement, a group of African-American activists who wanted equal rights for blacks. Du Bois and his supporters opposed the Atlanta Compromise, an agreement crafted by Booker T. Washington which provided that Southern blacks would work and submit to white political rule, while Southern whites guaranteed that blacks would receive basic educational and economic opportunities. Instead, Du Bois insisted on full civil rights and increased political representation, which he believed would be brought about by the African-American intellectual elite. He referred to this group as the talented tenth and believed that African Americans needed the chances for advanced education to develop its leadership.

     We point out the critical phrase, "....which he believed that would be brought about by the African-American political elite.  He referred to this group as the 'talented tenth' and believed that African Americans needed the chances for advanced education to develop its leadership."

     Booker Tecumseh Washington knew that the white cohort in the Old Confederacy controlled much of the coming and going of the Black Man, and that they also controlled the funds that would be required for building the institutions that could and would improve the conditions for everyone, amicably, and without useless confrontations.

     The two paths taken by the two Negro leaders could be summarised by the fact that DuBois received the Lenin Peace Prize and Washington had almost a million people who were drawn to his funeral's affairs....compsed of equal numbers of White and Black folks.

     Another thing about the good Dr. Washington was that he mobilised what would to-day be billions of dollars from people of good will, without the Jesse Jackson - Al Sharpton shakedown routine.   He had people like the Ogdens, the Carnegies, and many more, along with broad support from the Georgia and Atlanta and Southern middle class.  He was a sociological foil against the dunces in the Klan as well as the social reformers, especially from the North, who were representing anarchists and radical labour reformers.

 

     We bring these things up so as to point out the fact that this entire issue is much more ideologically driven rather than by being impulsed by race or ethnicity.

 

     As we have pointed out, for instance, in the Republic of Texas during the General Elections just past, the vote for Republican candidates, running Republic-wide, it is reasonably calculated that around 44% of all Latinos voted for the Republican candidates.   There is some thought that as many as 20% of all people of Black-African ancestry in Texas actually did vote Republican.

     So, connecting up what seem to be disparate dots, we point out now that the avalanche of the results during the last General Elections, pretty much all across the nation, we assert that there is no need to insult the "Hispanic vote" with such a useless measure as some kind of immigration reform.    It is pure demagoguery.  For Republicans to tell other Republicans that it is necessary to be more "inclusive" by permitting people to be legalised as legal residents without having complied with even the most basic elements of communitarian understanding....is insulting.   The implication that those of us who oppose closing the border to all save those involved in legal crossing is some kind of "discrimination" ....is insulting.   We assure all who care to listen to reason that the path of Booker Washington was better....and we lost its inertia to those who preferred a quicker path, and a more contentious path, driven by elites shepherding the least productive.

      Our path is better and shows better results.   Furthermore, to grant access to this country by executive fiat to people who have chosen not to obey the rules of access is also insulting to those who have complied.  It is also a clear and obvious violation of the established powers within the United States Constitution concerning the separation of those powers between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the central government. 

 

     It is all insulting to those of us who have committed the sin of having been born to colonial lineages of this country.   We are the ones who have committed no error, been kind to the visitor in the times past, and who have never offended against even the un-documented.

Haunting Words....and reflective of my opinion - Selected by El Zorro

   This video is fairly brief.  It relates well to my distaste for the "anti-war" people in the Congress during the period of 1970 - 1975.   Accommodative Republicans and adamantly rabid anti-American Democrats such as Frank Church come to mind.   The water has gone under the bridge, but I shall remain convinced that South Vietnam would have been better off as something more similar to South Korea, and not as an extension of Hanoi.

The Seedy Iguala, Guerrero Affair: Beware of broadbrush reporting

     Foreign reporting on affairs in Mexico are terribly oversimplified, frequently misleading, and almost always told from a decidedly leftist perspective.  The seedy matter presently affecting the area of Chilpancingo, Guerrero (the State's capital) and the major county seat town of Iguala is one of those murky places that always seems to be in some kind of upheaval.  It is also the third largest city in Guerrero, following Acapulco and Chilpancingo.

 

 

 

     Jose Luis Abarca (pictured above) was a businessman, trading in gold and operating a somewhat legal currency exchange house before he encountered his opportunity to expand horizons, by becoming active in the Partido Revolucionario Democratico, (PRD).

       He was investigated for involvement in "organised delinquency" in 2010, but federal authorities could not make a "provable case" in court in the opinion of Victor Humberto Beatriz Trevino, then Mexico's Attorney General during the previous presidential administration of Felipe Calderon Hinojosa.

      During Abarca's tenure presently he was also named as a suspect in the murder of a city councilman for Iguala, Arturo  Hernandez Cardona.

       Maria de los Angeles Pineda, wife of Abarca, (pictured above) is also the sister of two men who were gunned down in Morelia, the large capital city to the north of Iguala,  The cause of the killings was competition between the brothers and a  another middle-range cartel grouping.   Maria de los Angeles is said by all reasonable respondents to be the "power behind the throne".  Her mother and father were recently incarcerated in Morelia under suspicion of murder and operation of an "organised delinquency", along with 12 of their underlings.

     Amazingly to most Americanos, Maria was doing all the necessary things that would result in her being chosen as the next gubernatorial nominee of the PRD....which is the party of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the defeated PRD presidential candidate during the last two presidential campaigns in Mexico.

     Further,  we need to study and be familiar with the repetitive...rote...predictable events leading up to the conflagration for all the anguish and gnashing of teeth, plus several score dead and/or missing "students".   It is the nature of all marxist movements, especially among labour and "students".  The students, of course, are all cannon-fodder to be used in demonstrations and contentions with the "powerful" and the central government, or any available government.   They are also used, very often in street riots and demonstrations in matters wholly within the PRD  itself.   They tend to be quite a violent cohort of the human race.

      The OROG has seen our previous postings the nature of the "normal school" to which some 42 "students" are now missing.  One will remember the pictures of leading communist figures on the exterior end walls of the various wings of the "normal" school.

        There are presently Mexican, American, Argentine, and German or Austrian forensic teams working on bodies that were found a couple of weeks ago, but they appeared to have been dead for a really  long time.   None of the bodies found to this point, according to preliminary reports, can be a match for anyone known to be missing.

 

      But, as in the case of Treyvon and The Gentle Giant, people have come literally from far and near to literally attack the ancient doors of the National Presidential Palace in the very middle of Mexico City....far from the scene at Iguala.   They have burned down the town hall and several buildings in Iguala and Chilpancingo.  They are blaming everyone, yet the people with whom they are fighting are of their same marxist party.   Abarca and his horrid wife Maria de los Angeles Pineda, have been tracked down in Vera Cruz and subsequently been transferred to detention in Mexico City.

 

     There is so much made about the "missing students" :

     Literally thousands of people, few of them real students,  are marching into Mexico City, and yet they know naught about the facts of the case.   Both your humble servant and other observers in Mexico have pointed out that a reasonable case could be made that the "students" could possibly be hiding out, having tired of being ordered into the incessant marches, the Molotov-cocktailing of public and private properties every month or so, and just the perpetual aggressive and combative posture that must be maintained.

     Much more improbable things have turned out to be the true case.  Just think.....we have to put the National Guard at the ready because of what "might" happen in Ferguson, Missouri.   We live in a world where there is always a crowd waiting to burn down the bakery when the cake runs out.
