Marco Rubio Sees It Differently

   We begin this particular entry with the full and frank admission that we are very impressed with Senator Rubio, and we would vote for him for higher office readily.  It would seem that his hybridised political birth right....being both part of the Jeb Bush country club Republican "reasonable moderate"  and the Tea Party factions of the Floridian  Republican consist....has finally managed to put him into a position of having painted himself into a corner.

 

   The Country Club Republicans want to put a Happy Face on the Republican Party so as to recruit more,  what they call, "hispanics" into the party.    Those of us in the trenches of the reality of America have a more realistic understanding of these things...and it is not, as the Democrats say, to round up "all the hispanics" and ship them back to Mexico.

 

     Those of us who compose the huge majority of the Republican cohort of the American political scene....namely the skilled blue-collar, the small to very small business people, the barely wealthy, the professional and white collar people...know that that is how we identify ourselves.   When we go to a rally or a Tea Party function or something like that, we generally tend to assume that all the people who are there are working from a foundation of very similar catechisms.  There are a lot of Honourably Discharged people, a lot of volunteer workers, a lot of Sunday School teachers, who also hold down jobs, run businesses, drive trucks, play a few rounds of golf every year...or go fishing or hunting....maybe a Spurs game....or a Texans game if the money and time allow.    It is about the 9th thing that a person might note....that matter of what part of Europe or Africa or Asia the other folks came from historically.   But, even at that, it is simply a matter of interest..."Reality Genealogy"....but it is fact that the overwhelming majority of the people at those events are interested first and foremost in being Americans and/or Texians.     Their interest is in the future of their, be it the United States of America or Texas, or both.

     We also know that there are masses of people within each ethnic and racial  group who are eaten up with a disease that destroys the left hemisphere of the brain.   And what follows in this paragraph will be used immediately by some of my Bolshie-groupie,  pilot fish minders whose lives have been reduced to monitoring this poor, old,  minor-league, rightwing blogger-shark.    These leftie-pilot fish will cut and paste what is written to prove that I called "hispanics" Ku Klux Klanners.
    We continue.   These country club, highly qualified, best-saloons-and-restaurants-only, please  Republicans think that we Confederates are the same as Klanners.  They think all of us common people are low-grade Klanners at best.   They cannot tell the difference between a staunchly anti-racist Confederate....an equal- before-the-law person...a constitutionalist...from a stinking piece of whitetrash who can say things like..."If'n I ain't no better than no n****r, then who am I better than?"   They see the Tea Party dumboes, the ruralist dumboes, the small business people dumboes, the pro-life dumboes, and the people who eschew "benefits" to which they are "qualified" because they see them as degrading and essentially immoral, as intellectually  and socially inferior.   AND THEY PRETTY MUCH LUMP ALL THE FUNNY LOOKING, DARK SKINNED MOVIE EXTRAS NAMED GARCIA INTO A BIG LUMP CALLED ''hispanics".   And, of course, the Country Club, Reasonable Republicans know that we  need to come up with a response to "The Hispanics" so that "they" will love us.

     Jeb Bush is a really nice guy.   His wife is a real, live Mexican-type person (although we think that she has long since naturalised as an American citizen, and her area of origin in Mexico...the State of Guanajuato...is the centre of intellectual, religiously-based Conservatism in Mexico).  By them, we have established that America has had grandsons and nephews of American Presidents who were of Mexican ancestry, although we have never had such a condition drawn down from any Canadian source.   One of their children is establishing himself as a political force in Texas.   He will be making a Republic-wide race for a relatively important mid-ballot Secretariat in  2014 (I'm sorry, he IS making said run for office).  He very well could win the race, and then be on his way to the Presidency in 15 or 20 years.  (Abd, yes, El Gringo Viejo is aware that Rutherford Birchard Hayes was involved with some Canadian family genealogy entanglements.)
     Of course, and parenthetically speaking, by that time we should hope to have the Republic of Texas well established, with no FEMA, no Obama Socialised Medicine Initiative, no pyramid scheme Social Insecurity Program etc.

     The problem is that Governor Christie, Governor Bush, the Republican National Committee and all the power people of the party are driven to keep the dirty brown masses at a distance from their country club parking lot by trying to give "them" something.  

     As the difference between Confederate and Klanner, the Latin group is a huge, complex sociological globule which all but denies description, and which, if anything, is remarkable due to its lack of homogeneity .  NOT ALL HISPANICS ARE THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Using the word "hispanic"reveals that the individual is working with, let us say, a very serious lack of understanding.   Hispanic, as they use the word, is a comfortable way to avoid saying that horrid word....Meks si kin....which is so insulting.  At least they think it is insulting.

     Now, to end, there is no reason to have any new immigration law.   We have not fully enforced the old law as of yet.  The old law was interpreted so loosely since 1987 that it essentially served at a 30% efficiency level, if that, in terms of inducting new blood into the American body politic.    The free-for-all allowance of "collaterals" to come in on the shirttails of the newly amnestied illegal alien of yesterday, meant that one person ballooned to 30 or so because collateral became not just immediate family, but also in-law, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren and grandparents.  And, unlike previous groups of Mexican entrants....almost all the new ones made their first stop the morning after arrival at the Texas Department of Human Resources.   And that is where the population explosion in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Southernmost Texas came from.
     These people genuinely had no notion that they were doing anything wrong.   Catholic Charities advised them who to see, where to apply, and how to answer the 'trick questions" on the welfare applications and food stamp qualifying forms.   United Farm Workers off-shoot groups and "community organisers" helped steer the tidal wave of humanity to their new bounty of free money.

     And folks....we can pass all the "immigration reform" acts imaginable....and these people will not even see us...we are invisible to them.   They hate Mexico, they hate America, they hate each other, they practice the most amazing self-defeating deportment imaginable and they demand that the productive pay for their  bastardy, their diabetes, their defective babies whose mothers smoked dope, drank alcohol to excess, ate lard and glorp, their DWIs, their AFDC, their WIC, their Head Start, their Section 8 or public housing, free lunch, summer free lunch, ESL, utility subsidy, free cellular telephones, etc. etc. etc.

     Whitetrash Anglo-types are one thing for certain.   They are whitetrash.   They have not the vaguest notion what the term "non-deferred gratification" means....or "deferred gratification" is.   But for a person who is probably 89% Britannic, with a bit of German Saxon and Prussian, HE REALLY DOESN'T WANT TO BE LUMPED IN OR HANG AROUND WITH A BUNCH OF TOOTHLESS METH-HEAD WHITE TRASH, JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE SOME KIND OF ENGLISH BACKGROUND.   NO!  NO!  NO!

      Likewise, the Latinos  in Texas who managed to domesticate the Anglo and other non-Mediterranean European white-ancestried groups....and who have served in the military, gone to work every day, studied and advanced, been part of an established productive communitarian whole....despise the above described horde of Amnestied people.   They do not like being lumped into some amorphous thing called "hispanic".   They consider themselves Americans....even as they are, quite properly, very proud of their ancestry.    They tend to vote conservative....Republican....for a Republican Anglo over a Latin Democrat....they are numerous at any Republican precinct or County Convention...and now State Republican Convention...AND THEY DESPISE THE NOTION OF ANOTHER AMNESTY.  They are Ted Cruz.

      "We" do not need to bribe-up "their" vote.   They is Us.  We is them.   So, Senator Marco,  your experience growing up with and among the Cuban refugee community is not the experience we have here in Texas.   Here we have anchorbabymothers.  Until we overturn by statute or Constitutional Amendment, the ridiculous notion that a child born on American soil strictly for the purpose of giving that child's mother a free ride on the taxpayers' dimes...you can"reform" immigration laws ad infinitum, and the problem only become further engrained.  Institutionalised, multigenerational public assistance dependency.
    We know that the last Amnesty caused the hugest induction of people who required and demanded a free ride....and who received it...courtesy of both a promiscuous business community (grocery stores, banks, saloons) and a lethargic, slothful inundating group (amnesty people and their collaterals), and the political class who will "give a child a little bite to eat"...."give a child a free baseball uniform so that...." "Give a child a free week at camp so that....."  always with somebody else's money, of course.

     Chuck Schumer and all Democrats in the "Gang of Eight" , in the Senate,  and almost all the Democrats in the Lower House, are laughing up their sleeves because they think they have their Republican colleagues  just about ready to take the bait.   They genuinely have a very low opinion of the group called "hispanic".   El Gringo Viejo can at least see the good in a fourth or a fifth part of these Amnesty 1986 people....many join the military and immediately become different people.   The ones who do not join the military very frequently join gangs.  Schumer sees only dull, dependent people who will complete the classical loop in Democrat political strategy....Tax, tax!  Spend, spend! Elect, elect!   Dependency is the Democrats' most important product.

     These are observations and facts that Republicans in the Senate should not advance one step on any immigration matter, until the Mexican military has further degraded the cartels and other organised crime elements, and until such time that the American, or preferably, Texian authority can establish a  Frontier that can only be penetrated by people legally going and coming in commerce, industry, and/or tourism.   ESTABLISH A FRONTIER THAT CAN ONLY BE PENETRATED BY PEOPLE LEGALLY GOING AND COMING IN COMMERCE, INDUSTRY, AND/OR TOURISM.

THAT IS WHAT WE WANT.  THE DEMOCRATS WANT CANNON FODDER.  We appreciate your time and interest.

When a person considers that three very high profile women who were murdered and Vince Foster were all lumped into the case-load of the same Agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation as the Officer-in-Charge, it raises some reasonable questions.   One can almost picture  the head-scratching, and Buddy Ebsen's "WHoooo-doggy" before Granny, Jethro, and Ellie Mae come a'runnin' out and see what's a-goin' on.

Garrett, recently named lead investigator into the Chandra Levy "case," was also lead investigator in the Vincent Foster "suicide" and also lead investigator in the Mary Caitlin Mahoney/Starbucks triple-homicide. ___________________________________________________ Prologue: The Vince Foster case...was another pathetic display by  (El Gringo Viejo deletes several pointless denigrating terms)  known as the FBI. 1) A key witness who saw the murderer at Fort Marcy Park was PAT KNOWLTON. 2) KNOWLTON saw the guy and "locked eyes" with a real cold-blooded wacko parked in a "brown, old, battered Honda Accord." This car was the second car used to transfer the body....while another co-conspirator drove Foster's new grey Honda Accord to Fort Marcy Park.              3) Ken Starr subpoenaed Knowlton...and...the NSC hired some stringers (provocateurs, surveillance scum) to "TAMPER WITH A MATERIAL WITNESS" in a failed attempt and conspiracy with the lead FBI agent to "suborn perjury" and "tamper with a witness". (Both are crimes under state and federal criminal codes...right?!).              4) The Foster investigation was rife with this kind of stupidity and corruption by the FBI clown act, (The event references are accurate. Hyperbolic non-scientific rhetoric belongs to tommythebug).   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   CHANDRA, JOYCE, and MARY:  may they rest in peace        This is the story of three young women who went to the nation’s capital to learn about government. What they learned may have been the cause of their deaths. The three, Chandra Levy, Joyce Chiang and Mary Mahoney had interned in various departments of the executive branch of the federal government. As scandal after scandal swirled about them, they may have become privy to information that made them dangerous to powerful people. This article is about those scandals that likely ended up destroying the young women.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1) CHANDRA LEVY: Congressman Gary Condit's squeeze...body found in park among the weeds........   a) This writer, in several previous articles, has documented the odyssey of Chandra Levy ending with her job at the Bureau of Prisons. As a result of her duties there, the author believes she came into possession of knowledge on one or two subjects that made her dangerous to some in Washington D.C. b) The subjects were Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma City bombing and the CIA/drug connection possibly through the controversy regarding the whereabouts of Carlos Lehder, cofounder of the Columbian drug cartel. Sometime after the articles were written, Chandra’s interest in those subjects was confirmed by no less a person than Gary Condit. He told a Newsweek reporter; "They talked about the upcoming executions of Oklahoma City bomber Tim McVeigh and drug trafficker Juan Raul Garza. "She seemed to have a lot of interest in those two things," said Condit, "a lot more interest in them than I did." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   2) JOYCE CHIANG: Ties to the "Clinton--Democrat--China--Walmart--Cash"......and Andy the German (NSC CIA provocateur at Elohim City: a) The work and death of the second intern, Joyce Chiang, may very well also tie into the McVeigh and OKC bombing tragedy. Joyce, a graduate of Smith College interned in the office of California Democrat Representative Howard Berman while a student. After graduation, she worked in his office while attending law school at Georgetown University. She became Berman’s expert on immigration law and later, in 1995, took a position as special assistant to the director of the Office of Congressional Relations at the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).   b) During Timothy McVeigh’s Denver trial, the immigration status of one Andreas Strassmeir became an issue. Strassmeir was a German citizen with counter intelligence experience in the German army who was active in the Elohim City compound of a white supremacist group outside of Oklahoma City. According to Carol Howe, a paid BATF informer, Strassmeir had been agitating for direct action against government buildings. Phone records showed that McVeigh had tried to contact Strassmeir at Elohim City a couple of weeks before the bombing.   c) After the bombing, the BATF notified the INS that it wanted to detain Strassmeir and he was put on the INS’s watch list. Also, the FBI and INS had scheduled a raid on Elohim City in February, two months before the bombing to apprehend Strassmeir for alleged weapons and immigration violations. The raid was abruptly canceled with no explanation to date. When Strassmeir turned up in Germany he was taken off the INS watch list.   d) The McVeigh’s defense team tried to introduce evidence of participation in the bombing conspiracy by Strassmeir and Dennis Mahon through the testimony of BATF informant Carol Howe. Special Prosecutor Beth Wilkinson flat out lied to Judge Richard Matsch. She told the judge that Strassmeir was "A mere wisp of the wind." She said Strassmeir’s only problem was that he might have overstayed his visa. She falsely stated that the letters "A" and "O" on Strassmeir’s immigration record stood for "admitted" and "overstayed" respectively. (See this author’s article "Levy/Condit Amazing Coincidences" for background on Wilkinson’s role in providing cover for intelligence agencies.)   e) Wilkinson also falsely told the judge that Carol Howe had been fired by the BATF as mentally unstable and untrustworthy. She falsified the date Howe left the service of the BATF.      Wilkinson’s lies were exposed during a trial of Carol Howe. The government had indicted her on weapons violation charges. Her BATF handler, Angela Finley had to admit that Howe was in possession of the weapons at the request of the BATF. She also confirmed that the BATF had given Howe a raise from $25 a day to $400 a day and sent her back into Elohim City for further undercover work after the date Wilkinson said she had been fired. Howe was easily acquitted. The INS later corrected the record on Strassmeir’s immigration status showing that "A" stood for diplomatic passport and "O" for highly qualified. It was also discovered later that Strassmeir had applied for positions with the DEA and CIA. Later, an appeals court judge gave only mild criticism to Judge Matsch for accepting the word of government prosecutors when contradicted by defense records. Matsch himself has an interesting background.   f) There were other discrepancies between the representations made by prosecutors about INS records that were the opposite of the truth. Space does not permit listing them.  As an expert on immigration law and department policies and procedures, it is quite likely that Joyce Chiang became aware of the government’s duplicity in the trial.      On January 9, 1999 Joyce Chiang disappeared after being dropped off by a friend about three blocks from her apartment with the intention of stopping at the nearby Starbucks coffee shop (a location that would also figure in the murder of Mary Mahoney).      Three months later her body was found in the Potomac River. The body was so badly decomposed that no cause of death could be determined. Because some of her clothing had been found near a bridge over the river, her death was ruled a suicide. Some of her friends doubt that verdict and her brother, Roger, to this day believes she was murdered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  3) MARY MAHONEY: Tied to "Clinton--Dems--Asian Pacific Campaign Money Scandal"...tied to the Starbucks murder of JOYCE CHIANG:   a) The murder of Mary Caitrin Mahoney and trial of her alleged killer, while probably not tied to the OKC bombing nevertheless involves an almost unbelievable cast of characters at a time large amounts of illegal campaign finance money were being raised and serious breaches of national security occurred.      Mahoney had landed an internship working in the office of the Secretary of Commerce, Norman Mineta (the Current Transportation Secretary) for Doris Matsui. Matsui is the wife of California Democrat Representative Robert Matsui. However, she had political connections of her own having served as a trustee of the California Economic Advisory Council with Public Official Executive Board members, Gray Davis, Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein.      Matsui worked closely with John Huang, with the title of deputy assistant to President Clinton. Together they raised over $3 million in campaign funds from Asia and Asian-Americans. $1.2 million had to be returned because it came from corporations and non-citizens.      It was in this time frame that Charlie Trie worked first in the Commerce Department and then transferred to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) but kept his high security clearance. Trie had been attending CIA briefings and then immediately went across the street to the Washington office of Jackson Stephens, the Arkansas broker who was a financial angel of Bill Clinton and placed phone calls to his Chinese handler in the Lippo Group in Indonesia. b)  Stephens was a partner with James Riady of the Lippo Group in the Worthen bank in Little Rock. The bank was alleged to have been involved in laundering CIA drug money. The bank (and Stephens) were involved (along with the Rose Law firm and partners Hillary Clinton, Web Hubbell and Vince Foster) in the takeover of First American in Washington D.C. by BCCI. Robert Bartlett, the then Editorial page editor of the Wall Street Journal said he first starting keeping his eye on the Rose Law firm when he heard of its involvement with BCCI.   c) And there sat intern Mary Mahoney in the midst of all that activity. The Clinton’s had another reason to keep an eye on her. Mary was an open lesbian and aggressive supporter of gay rights. She had become something of a "den mother" for younger interns who claimed to have suffered sexual harassment at the hands of the president (not including Monica) She had been threatening to do something about it.   d) Mary also held a part time job as assistant cashier at the local Starbucks coffee shop. In July of 1997, she and two other employees were gunned down around closing time by what police claimed was a robbery although no money was taken. Mahoney was shot five times. One of the shots was to the back of her head gangland execution style. (there are slight discrepancies between three different descriptions of people at the scene and officially recorded as analysts or witnesses.  It serves to point out that each deceased had been shot in the back of the head, twice and there wee clear indications that silencers had been used.  Also, between $4,000 and $10,000 dollars was in the safe, and Mary Cailin Mahoney died with her personal and store keys clasped in her hand... egv)        In March of the following year, FBI agent Bradley Garrett arrested Carl Derek Cooper for the three murders. After 54 hours of questioning by Garrett and another agent, Cooper signed a confession that he immediately repudiated as soon as he got to court. Garrett is currently in charge of the Chandra Levy "missing persons" case and was the lead agent on the Vince Foster death determined to be a "suicide."        Judge Joyce Hens Green set a trial date for April 10, 1999. This is the point at which the cast of characters becomes bizarre starting with Judge Green who was first appointed as a federal judge by President Jimmy Carter in 1979.      In the last year of President Reagan’s second term, Green was appointed to the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to serve a non-renewable seven-year term. That court deals exclusively with national security and with international terrorism, and involves approving applications for electronic surveillance. Judges on that court require the highest security clearance available. In 1990, then President George Herbert Walker Bush appointed Green presiding judge of that court and she handled all emergency matters during the remaining five years of her term.      Judge Green also presided over the BCCI trial that had resulted from indictments obtained by New York Assistant District Attorney Robert Morgenthau. Morgenthau’s investigation was stopped when the FBI stepped in under the direction of Robert Mueller (currently the new FBI Director) and no further investigation ensued. Judge Green approved plea bargains that resulted in BCCI forfeiting its assets in the United States. Two defendants had been indicted, Roger Altman and Clark Clifford an influential power broker in the Democrat party. The two men had accepted the two top spots in First American after the BCCI takeover but claimed they had no idea BCCI was involved in the nearly nine years they functioned in those capacities. Altman was acquitted and Clifford never stood trial because of ill health.        Back to the Cooper trial. Before the trial even started, a controversy arose when Janet Reno announced she was going to seek the death penalty for Cooper. D.C. officials were furious claiming Reno was overstepping her bounds. The district had never asked for the death penalty in any murder case.      Reno held a hearing on the matter. At that hearing, defence attorney William Martin (not connected with the Cooper case) urged Reno to ask for the death penalty. Yes, that’s the same Billy Martin who represented Monica Lewinski’s mother, Marcia Lewis, and currently represents Chandra Levy’s parents.        To complete the cast, Judge Green then appointed attorney Francis D. Carter to represent Cooper. Carter is the Frank Carter to whom Vernon Jordan took Monica Lewinski. Carter prepared the false affidavit for Monica’s signature which put her at risk for perjury when she later testified in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case. Monica escaped prosecution when she was granted immunity by independent counsel Ken Starr.        With Carter as his defence counsel, Cooper was convicted despite a weak circumstantial evidence case. There were, of course, no eyewitnesses and Cooper’s fingerprints were not found at the murder scene. During his 54 hours of interrogation, Cooper had consistently denied the crime and volunteered several times to take a lie detector test. Most of the testimony against him was by FBI agent Garrett based on Garrett’s representation of what Cooper had said during the interrogation. The questioning was not recorded or videotaped although another agent took notes.        One wonders at the array of a high powered Washington judge with ties to the intelligence community and an attorney who barely escaped being disbarred (in another high profile case) in a case claimed to be a routine robbery murder case by a career criminal.        We may never know what information these women possessed that may have led to their demises. Certainly if they confided in any friends, it would take a tremendous act of courage for those friends to come forward given what happened to Chandra, Joyce and Mary. May they rest in peace.       4) FED JUDGE MATSCH'S DAUGHTER BETSY PUSHED INTO A HAWAIIN VOLCANO TO TAKE HIM OFF THE CIA DEVER Savings and Loan FRAUD CASE:   a) Judge Matsch was in military counter intelligence during the Korean "conflict." In 1987 he presided over the trial of four white supremacists who were convicted of assassinating radio talk show host Alan Berg. In 1992 his 24-year-old daughter, Betsy, died after accidentally falling into a steam vent at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Gun owners’ patience and persistence was rewarded on Saturday and yesterday, as the Texas House of Representatives led by Speaker Joe Straus (R-San Antonio) gave approval to a wide range of pro-gun legislation while the NRA Annual Meeting was underway in Houston.  Most of these bills passed overwhelmingly, in spite of repeated attempts by anti-gun members of the minority party to kill some of these measures by raising parliamentary “points of order” against them for alleged violations of House rules.  Many violations are procedural in nature, involving the committee process and committee reports. Thanks to the meticulous work of House Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee Chairman Joe Pickett (D-El Paso) and his staff, none of the points were sustained, and debate and votes on the bills were allowed to proceed on the House floor.

Senate Bill 299 / House Bill 1304 by state Senator Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls) and state Representative Kenneth Sheets (R-Dallas) protects against charges of unlawful carry for the inadvertent or accidental display of a handgun by a Concealed Handgun Licensee.  SB 299 was taken up in lieu of HB 1304 on the House floor and will be the bill that goes to Governor Perry for his signature.

 

Senate Bill 864 / House Bill 47 by state Senator Donna Campbell (R-New Braunfels) and state Representative Dan Flynn (R-Van) reduces the minimum number of required classroom training hours for original and renewal Concealed Handgun Licenses from 10-15 to 4-6.  This change would make it far more convenient for CHL applicants to obtain a license to carry and exercise their right to self-defense.  SB 864 was taken up in lieu of HB 47 on the House floor and will be the bill that goes to Governor Rick Perry for his signature.

 

House Bill 508 by state Representative Ryan Guillen (D-Rio Grande City) imposes civil fines on state agencies, cities or counties which improperly post 30.06 signs prohibiting Concealed Handgun Licensees from property which is not off-limits to them under the Texas Penal Code.  It also gives the Texas Attorney General or local district attorney the ability to sue to collect the civil penalties if the offending agency or political subdivision fails to remove the sign after having been notified of a violation.  This bill now moves to the Senate for consideration – please contact your state Senator and urge him or her to support HB 508!  Contact information can be found by clicking here

House Bill 972 by state Representative Allen Fletcher (R-Cypress) and state Senator Brian Birdwell (R-Granbury) eliminates the criminal prohibition on the possession of firearms on public and private college campuses for Texas Concealed Handgun Licensees.  As passed in the House, schools may adopt administrative rules and regulations restricting licensees in campus buildings, but only after consulting annually with campus law enforcement, faculty, staff and students.  HB 972 also now contains language from SB 1907 by Senator Glenn Hegar prohibiting public and private institutions of higher education from adopting or enforcing policies banning students who are CHLs from transporting and storing handguns and ammunition in their privately-owned motor vehicles while driving through or parking on campus.  This bill now moves to the Senate for consideration – please contact your state Senator and urge him or her to support HB 972!  Contact information can be found by clicking here

The following pro-Second Amendment bills were also passed in the Texas House and now go to the state Senate:

 

House Bill 48 by state Representative Dan Flynn (R-Canton) and Senator Donna Campbell (R-San Antonio) streamlines the process for renewal of a Concealed Handgun License by eliminating the continuing education course and handgun proficiency demonstration requirements.  Applicants would still be required to renew their licenses every five years, but they would be provided with an informational form regarding pertinent firearms and deadly force laws, which would have to be signed and turned in with the CHL renewal application.

 

House Bill 485 by state Representative Sarah Davis (R-Houston) reduces the fees for original or renewal Concealed Handgun Licenses charged to veterans who are honourably discharged after at least one year of military service, as well as reserve and part-time peace officers, to $25 – from $70 to $35, respectively.  A House floor amendment was adopted which included two new categories of individuals to whom this new discount would apply: TDCJ correctional officers and members of the Texas Military Forces.

 

House Bill 698 by state Representative Drew Springer (R-Muenster) and state Senator Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls) requires DPS to establish procedures for the submission of fingerprints by CHL applicants who live in counties with populations of less than 46,000 and do not live within 25 miles of a designated facility capable of processing them digitally or electronically.  Availability of such services continues to be a problem in rural areas, as the state only contracts with one company.

 

House Bill 1076 by state Representative Steve Toth (R-The Woodlands) would prohibit any state agency or agency employee from enforcing a federal statute or regulation on firearms or firearm accessories that does not exist under Texas state law.  Any agency that violated this prohibition would not be allowed to receive state grant funds for the fiscal year in which a violation occurred.

 

House Bill 1349 by state Representative Lyle Larson (R-San Antonio) prohibits DPS from requesting or requiring that an applicant’s social security number be disclosed during the process of obtaining an original or renewal Concealed Handgun License.

 

House Bill 1421 by state Representative Charles Perry (R-Lubbock) and Senator Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls) would allow firearms seized by law enforcement in connection with a crime, and not returnable to a rightful owner, to be sold at a public sale to federal firearms licensed dealers rather than be destroyed.

    We urge that each of the people testifying to-day move carefully as their entries into the official ledger begin to soak in.   Hillary Rodham Clinton managed, somehow, to obtain and digest, at a minimum, 1,300 raw data personnel files from the FBI's security and personal records files pertaining to various political and governmental personalities.   She was also able to immediately retrieve confidential information about very specific people from those raw data file at the snap of a finger when she was the official chief aero-ashtray engineering specialist in the White House.

     William Jefferson Blythe was always, is, and will always be a finger on a hand puppet.  He is white trash extraordinaire who, because of his willingness to approve the notion that a woman has domain over her own body and therefore has the right to kill the body inside of her (makes sense to people from Cape Cod and Chappaqua), Bubba receives adulation from said people.

 

      Hillary, on the other hand, is the true Lady Macbeth.   It is El Gringo Viejo's studied opinion that all evil flows from her bloodied cavern which had been intended at her conception to house a soul.  What passes for a heart does not beat thump-THUMP, thump-THUMP...it goes Me-I, Me-I, I-Me.    She does not see herself in mirrors.   Her dreams are like the cemetery scene from Fiddler on the Roof.   Sometime she has nightmares like being forced to watch a Shirley Temple movie or having to ride on a train without her private car...the one with the golden throne.....or having to take a (eeeuuuuuu) common carrier airplane....with  (yyccchhh) people on the same plane.   Nancy Pelosi knows her pain.  Oh! The restrooms of it all!

 

       Can you imagine that Monica's closest friend was a lesby girl who, according to all accounts, was a very competent and likable person.   That her wiring was different, well, that was her situation, but she "got along" with everyone.  She did make the mistake of complaining to someone in the White House hierarchy that Billy Jeff was behaving inappropriately with her and with Monica.   She made that observation while checking out and quitting her own White House Internship.   She moved on and  fairly quickly wound up augmenting her self-financing fund for her university fees...as a manager for a Starbucks in the Georgetown part of the D.C. scene.   That was impressive enough, but even moreso was the fact that before long, someone came in and killed the two black guys who worked there and the lesby girl who, apparently, had never harmed anyone in her life.   There was no money missing.   Quite a way to close up for the night.

Mahoney formerly worked as a White House intern. Her July 1997 murder at a DC Starbucks followed Drudge's early leaks of Michael Isikoff's Newsweek story on Lewinsky. At the time, Lewinsky was not identified by name, only as an intern who was about to go public with her story of sex with the president. Some speculated that hitmen got the wrong intern and instead killed Mahoney. Mahoney's murder is still officially unsolved. Details about the case can be found in a previous Latest Word column. Limiting speculation about Bill Clinton's sexual appetite to one or even two isolated dalliances with interns is probably not the most intelligent way to look at it. Steamshovel does not offer the opinion that Mary Caitrin Mahoney is the second intern. However, it does take the opportunity to remind readers of this murder mystery and to present some interesting biographical details about Mahoney below.

Mary Caitrin "Caity" Mahoney, 24, a founder of the Baltimore Lesbian Avengers, died Sunday, July 6, 1997, at the Starbucks coffee shop on 1810 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, in Georgetown. Mahoney, who was the night manager at Starbucks, and two other Starbucks employees died of gunshot wounds sometime after the shop closed at 8 p.m., according to D.C. police detective Tony Patterson. Patterson said police still have no suspect in the case. The bodies of Mahoney and her co-workers were discovered early Monday morning, July 7, by an employee who was to open the store. Mahoney was one of a core group of six women who founded the Baltimore Lesbian Avengers, a political activist group, in February 1995, according to her best friend, Mary Hall of Baltimore, Md. "She was very passionate about everything she did, and she did everything the best she could," Hall said. The Lesbian Avengers have a tradition of eating fire as a stunt at their actions. Hall said that once the Avengers were having a picnic at the house where she lived with Mahoney when they decided to do fire-eating for fun. Hall said Mahoney wanted to impress her girlfriend. "She decided to show off and do two torches at once and she ended up burning her lips," Hall said. "But she was a Leo," Hall said. "She was in her element when she ate fire." Mahoney’s activism spanned many arenas, including founding a women’s issues discussion group at Towson State University in 1993; sitting as a board member of the 31st Street Bookstore in Baltimore, a Lesbian/feminist cooperative; and working on Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign as well as interning for the Clinton White House when he was newly elected. In 1994, Mahoney and others raised more than $1,000 for Baltimore’s Pride festival while participating in a musical spoof of The Sound of Music known as The Camp of Music. In the musical, Mahoney played Gretel -- the youngest of the "VonCamp" children. "Her passion was contagious, she was just amazing," Hall said. Mahoney was born July 22, 1972, in Baltimore. Her remains were cremated. Memorial services were at the McDonogh School on July 18 and at Georgetown University on July 15.      El Gringo Viejo is quick to point out that another black man (boy, actually) was convicted of the murder, based upon his over-active mouth which he shot off in the D.C. general detention some time after the Starbucks murders.   He was taken to court, made a plea deal , and then was thrown into some federal penitentiary or another.   Later, of course, it turn out that he changed his story....found decent (court appointed) counsel....and through DNA evidence was established to, at the very least, have had nothing to do with the incident.  The above obituary, lamentably, does not include comments attributed to Monica about "Caity" having been "offended" by Billy Jeff.   Monica was deadly jealous and also had a melt-down at the White House south gate when the security there refused her entry during one of those times when Hillary was out of town.   She had gone to the White House in a snit because of the breaking news that Clinton had also tried to work his charms on Kathleen Willie, the same day that her husband had "committed suicide" - he had been working on some details about Whitewater and the Cattle Futures Cases that he at first did not believe.   His work probably caused his "suicide" under peculiar conditions.
      This resulted in Billy Jeff having to suffer the ignominy of having to go out into the cold, dusking evening, and give personal permission to "this girl, here to come on inside out of the cold.   I sure don't know what her name is but she's a friend of mine. I'll take it from here, officer...thanks and please forgive us....I mean me.....I mean her.... yuk-yuk"

     So never underestimate the Queen of the Immaculate Concussion....and always look in the back seat....even if you did lock all the car doors.   "High there, Mrs. Willie...it sure is a shame what happened to your cat."

     We were aware of the background of the Manchurian Manikin shortly after he won a pre-fab primary for the Democrat nomination for the vacated United States Senate seat from Illinois.    He then wound up facing a stand-in candidate, Alan Keyes,  put up by the rightwing crazy section of the Republican Party at the last minute because the good and moderate, nice and clean Republicans had decided that it would be nice to let this nice young....man....be a nice United States Senator after all the nice things he had done for his nice people.   After all the seat, in a way, rather belonged to those people....you know...from the central parts of Chicago...you know...it just seemed fair.   And nice.

     Some GOP operatives, both country clubber and rightwing crazy, had come to an agreement on backing Mike Ditka, a famous tight end for the Dallas Cowboys and a relatively popular Head Coach of the Chicago Bears at the time.   Mike backed out at the last moment, no one has ever informed El Gringo Viejo exactly why.   Mike was not a "nice" boy.  He probably did not like the idea that he was being told that everyone wanted him to run, but nobody really wanted him to win.     In reality, the king makers did not  even think he could win.   That is not exactly the way one approaches a person who has a demonstrated Major League attitude about self-discipline and victory.

 

      So Ditka returned to the War on Women, and cleared the decks for the Archangel Barak.   The anointed Democrat dispatched the hapless, underfunded Alan Keyes in the General Elections, and began his long career as a United States Senator as he had spent his long career in the State Senate for the State of Illinois....by being absent and by voting present for much of his long and exemplary legislative career.  He did manage to throw his considerable support behind one bill that would exempt abortionists from being prosecuted for murder or any other crime should the abortionist have the unfortunate luck to deliver a live baby as a product of an attempted dead baby delivery.   You see, he wanted even the abortionist to have a chance at a mulligan, without fear of having to score extra strokes, if you will.    It seemed like the right thing to do.

     Then, the Archangel, and now Saint, Barry ascended unto the Holy Teleprompter and gave one of his famous leg-tinglers....especially written to massage every synapse of white, liberal guilt.   (We remember Gore Vidal, such a nice boy, lecturing William F. Buckley about race.   He said,"One time I took my shoe and hit a little black boy I was playing with, just to do it.  I just thought it was the thing to do.   Admit it Bill, white people all have things like that in their past".    Buckley did not bat an eye, responding,"Why Gore, were I to have done that, my mother would have surely slapped my face in public and beaten my bottom sore in private.  Of course I have no such thing in my past."

 

     In any regard, after a long and distinguished career of talking out of both sides of his mouth, bad-mouthing white people, black conservatives, FOX News, and anything normal he decided to vote 'present' a couple of times more before announcing his plans to be appointed President.  He was a perfect fit for the office.   You see, he was black, and "understood".    That his "black" was derived from anything but the classical American Negro experience, and that he could not tell W.E.B Dubois from Jesse Owens in a line-up, had probably never heard of either of them, he was obviously qualified.   The Annenberg Foundation was very proud of the work he had done "for the community" via representing the Association of Community Organisations for Revolution Now!  He had, after all, been especially active in bullying banks into giving home-owner loans to people with 20,000 dollar per year (or less) incomes when buying 500,000 dollar houses.    He was a real miracle worker.   Had nice friends.   Communists, terrorists, murderers, anarchists....and Jeramiah Wright (who, by the way, was not a bullfrog).

 

     Archangel Saint Bishop Astronaut Barry, rose and took his place above the gathered  knights;  his named appeared on his throne immediately upon receiving the merest glance from his honest, sincere, and meaningfully expressive eyes.   Easily, he vanquished the Trundling Sow who was so crass as to think she could impede The Ascension, and he put her in her place.   Her place is the famous Hall of the Has Beens Who Never Were.
     A couple of reporters (we think the might have been liberal Democrats) did have a bit of trepidation...asking, on the air, "....do we really know this person?   We do not have a body of writing, of legislation passed or supported, or even much knowledge of his past."    But it really did not matter.   He was black, and it was time to shove it in the faces of all those white Southern klanner, cracker, hillbilly hayseed, bigoted Christian gun owning hideous people.  Rednecks, flat-earthers, ignorami.   All manners of bad people...not good people like us who will vote for a Negro, no matter that we know nothing about what he thinks, who he is, what his plan is, what his agenda is or any such insignificant stuff.   It did not matter.   He promised Hope and Change, and by golly that was good enough for the really smart and sophisticated people.

 

      Of hundreds of teleprompted, condescentious pronunciamentos....reminiscent of various railing madmen....we stored up further reassurance of the utter shallowness of this marxist bigot.   His guide through life is Saul Alinsky.   His activity as a youth...nothing.  No piano, no baseball, no rock collections, no model planes.   Just smoking dope and selling cocaine, like any other kid.   And making up stories about white girls who weren't good enough, plugged in enough, or smart enough to keep up with his enlightened brilliance.

     The Police in Cambridge behaved stupidly, my mother was left with no insurance and had to die so that the insurance company could live, and if I had had a son, he would have look an lot like the reverend Mr. Sharpton.    All of this the Anointed One expressed with  the self-assuredness that can only be expressed by a narcissistic, ignorant empty suit, sitting in an empty chair. 

     Now knowing more than we wished to know about this Manchurian Candidate,  Pretender in Chief, we can instuct him about certain basic facts.
 

     Many Christians and Jews are not perfect people.   Many people who are Christians and Jews, along with the agnostics and other sorts who stumble along life's path with them, are communitarian people who try to do for themselves, help others, leave the bar almost sober and walk home to the family and help around the house.   That is a base-line.  They do not throw pampers in the parking lot.  They help...a little...a lot.  They do.   They pull their own weight.   They really don't have time or disposition to hate or even dislike anybody, unless there is a good reason or some kind of justification.  Ole Tex gets along with everyone and gives a little more than he takes is a common description of a lot of folks in these parts.

     BUT,  among the Ishmaelites, we are presented with a problem.   We have a painting, done by one artist, of the Virgin Mary, taken by another artist and smeared with elephant dung.   The United States Government and the State Government of New York pay the artist for his work and hang it with pride in a famous, public museum.    Likewise, they pay and show other great works, such as a jar of urine with a crucifix inside the jar to keep the urine company.  Truly inspired.   Something the Great Masters and the Impressionists would have had to really study in order to dig deeper into the meaning of aesthetics.  There are no riots, no bombings, no killings.   There is considerable consternation, but we consider the source, and do not patronise the degenerates or approved of their deportment.

     There is a strata of person throughout the Muslim world, who suffers from a richly justified sense of inferiority.   He (we say he, because the opinion of a woman in any matter is of no importance) has a pronounced sense of insecurity about his religion and his personal moral and social value.   He knows that he is a worthless clod.   He knows that in the scheme of things he has less value to the Cosmos than an earthworm.  He knows....and understands his worthlessness.   He is surrounded by other mindless, stupid people who only know how to hate.   They have no other emotion, save a bit of lust in the event that the opportunity to rape a foreign female reporter presents itself.

      There are others, a smaller percentage within those described in the  above paragraph...a percentage of a  percentage of the muslim whole, who are exactly like the ones in the previous paragraph, only these have university educations...sometimes advanced degrees.   Some are, by world standards upper-middle class and even from extremely wealthy backgrounds.   They cannot resist sharing the hatred felt by the unwashed, lower class, sub-human "muslims".   These privileged Muslims also  have trouble with girls, trouble with getting along with almost anybody real, but they have no trouble hating people who are having fun, doing things, being normal, and generally committing sins at ever turn....or being Jews...or being Americans....Americans especially are the ones who are unrestrained by the orders of the Prophet.    Americans only believe in friendship, fun, Coca-Cola, life, liberty, prosperity.   They do not understand their duty to Allah.  They are incurable infidels.  They mislead our children.   We must kill our daughters so as to teach them the evil of the Americans.  We must kill Jews and return our lands to the true followers of the  Prophet.   We must defend the interests of the people who no Arab nation wants, and  who cannot even live at peace with and among themselves, the "Palestinians".    We must hate, we must kill, and especially we must hate and kill others who say they are Muslim, but who are not correct in their practise and/or belief....yes, they must be killed.    Blow up their mosques, they are not true churches for any purpose, they are whorehouses of heretics....blow up the false mullahs, blow down their minarets, kill them as they leave prayers, during their funeral processions, kill them all, and kill all the Jews and kill all Americans.    And so, these well-placed Muslims join with the Muslims who are stupider than dead rocks and they set out to kill, demolish, tear down, destroy, and cause misery...kill, kill, kill.
 

     Enter Our Holy Pretender.   He tells us that he will make an appearance.   As a committed marxist and as a person who has lived in "foreign countries" he "knows".   He speaks and says:
