________________________________________________________________________________________ David Christian Newton Letter to THE MONITOR: Over the years, and not so long ago, this writer sent various commentaries to the Monitor, almost always carrying a message of conservatism and self-sufficiency that served well for the person who cared for him, or her, self. During the times leading up to the present, I have been pleased with her clear form of expression and her dedication to self-control and limited government. She was, and remains, a person who is committed to avoiding being a person looking for an easy ride or a person who feels entitled without justification. She is obviously a self-provident, contributing citizen. Lamentably, there are those come those who ridicule or discard those who are committed to self-sufficiency and positive citizenship. Her most recent submission to the discussion about the the value of self-support as opposed to being supported by public assistance is another excellent pronouncement about the value of self-sufficiency and avoidance of public assistance,or worse, criminal activity. It is clear that those of us who prefer self-sufficiency and who avoid the allure of sponging "free money" are taking the high-road, realizing nothing has value if it is not earned. The invading of other peoples' nations while demanding support might seem easy enough in a nation such as the USA. However, it is not reasonable to arrive into a place such as Texas and expect and require alimation, shelter, and other basic services. The fact is there are large bodies of humanity who think that arriving without permission into the United States is a heroic or reasonable accomplishment. The payment by "coyotes" or other forms of criminal method of entrance into the United States of America and places such as Texas are and frequently a one-way entrance into public assistance and a frequent opening to an uncomfortable and compromised life compromised life-situation. My almost certain conclusion about the scores of thousands who are arriving with baby-in-the-belly, or fleeing one kind or another of oppression, or who thinking that he or she can establish themselves as some kind of a person who is a free-standing, self-sustaining person. The issues and settings of those arriving before these times are very much different from today's challenges. I was born in 1947...the third and last birth by my parents. on a 25 acre tract on a gravel road that connected about 40 feet from a concrete highway that connected up with another highway that led to a place called Edinburg. The times were different obviously. Good and bad things have had their way, and I could tell tales about that area that would bore people to death for hours. We appeciate your time and interest.      Relying upon the intelligence and integrity of the writer of the newspaper report concerning what is regarded as essentially a shutdown of the Rio Pecos, one could reliably take the writing and use the material for kindling.   The article essentially points out that the Rio Pecos is either dead or dyeing or both.  The article was somber and authoritative  and perhaps even believable.  However, one must remember that throughout the world there are people with many degrees, much experience, all nature of ideas, analysis, and best interests at heart that reassure the human race that The End Is Near.

     I mean…everybody knows it.   Doctor Fauci couldn't be either that wrong or that deceptive…he's a nice little old man who is just trying to help the poor and the downtrodden.

       BUT…there is a little problem as we move along.   The drought and shortage of water in the subterranean  areas in West Texas has been a bit severe, but it has also been confined to a relatively small area.   It is also a river that can "pick it up and  dump all over you and your ranch" or it can enter into an eight to twenty month "dry-spell" and pick up one-tenth or less than what the Good Lord allocates to the rainfall in the Pecos River (in Texas ) area, that being 15 too 24 inches per year.   There have been times when there was little or no rain in that area for 12 to 20 months.

     The massive Lake Amistad that has depths in some places as deep as 400 - 500 feet, and it fed primarily by the Rio Grande and the Rio Concho which comes in a ways upstream from Mexico   The Devil's River is a smaller course, running generally North to South, and feeding into the Rio Grande, and that flow is relatively steady and spring fed…although it is much smaller than the catchment areas of the other mentioned sources.

     And, to draw the noose tight, we can be sure that Gabriel will blow his horn some time in the very distant  future.   The regular and irregular rains, the regular and irregular springs will fill and feed the 200,000 square miles of that part of Texas (and New Mexico) drained and fed by the various aquifers and surface carriers.

A TIME TO RETURN To Duty…Madness and Imbecility Runs Amuck

We return to the Field of Combat and Contention

      Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.   Perhaps I am not the good man needed for these times, but we shall try.   As an entry and aside, we have been in a jumble of extremely compressed action, taking care of large and small problems and projects during the past couple of months or a bit more.

     We dawdled and procrastinated, helped and sweated, felt inadequate for not doing things better…and so forth.   Cats to feed, dogs to re-assure, lawns front and rear and both sides to mow and nurture…all rewarding and challenging, especially when one is normally disposed to hanging around, whining and moaning, and grumbling about the political situations…in Texas…in Washington, D.C., and with our friends and enemies throughout the planet.

WE TIRE OF IMBECILES:

     During the past few years, and especially during the last four or five years, we have been witnessing one of the most ridiculous assaults without punishment ever to afflict the Republic of Texas and its surrounding political entities.  For instance…during the months of October and November, 2021 the number of people detained and processed by the Texan and American authorities totaled in excess of 350,000 humans, of all imaginable ages, races, ethnic types, and citizenship.

A Clarion Call

     This is a bit off my route, but it is something that must be circulated throughout the common law, Judeo-Christianic, free enterprise world.  The below cited woman styled what this writer must consider to be a classic re-statement of the obvious.

     Our problem for the nation, as it is for Texas, is that we must struggle to remain viable in the face of decadence and the abandonment of Holy Creeds and proven successful codes of social and moral conduct.  Business conduct, social activity, the rearing and guiding of children and the pre-adult individual obviously must depend upon that which is dependable…and honest…and straightforward.

     There have been several contributors to our local newspaper here in McAllen, Texas and it is fairly certain that a tenth or more of the one million people who maintain an orbit in and around Hidalgo County of Texas probably review the commentary provided by the McAllen Monitor on a regular basis.   I do not wish to delve into the transformation of the culture and social complexion of Hidalgo County, for it is far, far too complex…as it pertains to the past, present, and future…to discuss within the structure of this missive.

    Suffice to say that Hidalgo County became an official entity back in the early 1850's.   Places such as McAllen, Edinburg, Weslaco, Mission, and Mercedes (please forgive the failure to mention the many-score villages, towns, and cities that also form much of the population of this County) back in pre-War Between the States, the Maximilian / Benito Juarez War of the early 1860s, and all the subsequent activity since make a patchwork quilt of a complexity never imagined by those of us born in the 1930's - 1960's in Hidalgo County.   That part of Texas, at the very frontier with Mexico and the Rio Grande, has witnessed all but incomprehensible changes and forms of common and extremely advanced commercial, agricultural, and industrial activity.  It is an awesome metamorphosis in my lifetime.

     We render now the submission of one Hortencia Camargo, a contributor to the McAllen Monitor newspaper.   She is one of several observers and analysts in this area,  very astute Latins of one or two generations on up into 20 generations in this part of the North American Continent, who have committed to the Free Enterprise, Judeo-Christian approach to cultural viability.   Without further droning forth, we present Hortensia Camargo's view of Hidalgo County and essentially the World in very few words…all gilt in wisdom and glistening in silver.

     President Biden is burning the candle at both ends.  The near, near future will clearly show Biden and his supporters that money and resources truly do not grow on trees.  The endless stimulus checks, blanket loans, and strain on America for Americans, plus the blanket cost of living tab for the entire world simultaneously will cripple America.   Small businesses will fail, taxes will be raised to try to support this ridiculous grab for "free everything" in the name of feel-good and warm-inside sentiment.

     Have you ever boarded a plane?  There is a reason they clearly instruct you to protect and secure yourself in case of an emergency before you help your neighbour.   Why?  Because when you are both weakened and compromised, the chance of you both perishing are almost guaranteed.  That's America and its neighbours.

     Right now the burden of keeping American citizens afloat and the entire influx of illegal aliens will eventually affect all of us.  It'll be with higher taxes, major crime, an uptake in COVID - 19 infections and variants, lack of resources, overpopulated schools and congested classes, more colonias, inflation, lack  of medical resources and ICU  beds, and…eventually Social Security will be attacked to help foot the bill.

     Each and every one of us will feel the horrific effect of the absolute worst and first quasi-communist socialist president ever, Joe Biden.  He has created the most volatile economy America has ever seen.  Awe, but like children: all the candy your heart desires looks extremely attractive, but America must accept that it will come with rot and a world of pain.

     The American Dream is no more.  Hustle, drive, ambition, creativity,  entrepreneurship and capitalism are gone.  The current system puts fear in its citizens to excel.   The famous income tax return pie-in-the-sky keeps the masses purposely trying to not excel and to instead settle; to live not to lose instead of living to win.

     To-day, parents literally teach their kids how to get an income tax return and not pay taxes.

   And, Oh!  critical race theory is totally racist.   If there were white-only, groups, advocacy centres, and organisations, society would be up at arms.   Yes, racism still exists today but the new colour of abused victims is white.

     To truly end racism we must collectively accept and acknowledge that all races face it every single day.   Being White in America to-day is almost a crime.  Don't let certain movements and organisations fool you…racism is racism, regardless of colour.

     Biden's America is a joke.   The entire country is being pandered to.  It is insulting and sad.

Mired…as the world continues in a fog...

Mired and no recourse to cure anything:

      Sunrise, sunset…Sunrise, sunset…seems to be our situation at this time.   We were rather much put into dry-dock about a year ago when,  for a number of reasons, there was a necessity between the three major powers of North America to restrain cross-border visitation for business, pleasure, or just milling around.  Mexico, Canada, Texas, and the United States determined that people could fly to Cancun and have a good time, but they could not drive or take a ground conveyance …this in spite of nearly five first-class busses per hour come in and departed to and from McAllen, for instance, connecting the southern tip of Texas with scores of destinations in Mexico.

     While dull and travelled over and over again, it was somewhat of a purifying experience to either go down or come back to and from our places in Texas and our place down in the middle of Nowhere, Mexico where we have our little mud hut.   Each month would pass by, first with Trump declaring draconian migratory regulations that essentially did nothing beyond increasing the number of illegal aliens entering in to Gringolandia, and extending the ban, month by month.   The day before yesterday was the most recent, and it extended the ban to travel terrestrially into Mexico to 31 August 2021.

     Similar constraints are imposed on people coming into the Texas or the United States, if entering via ground transportation.   People crossing either direction on the border have to have "justifiable cause" for entering the other country.  My children, interestingly, like to take a run to the east coast of the the Yucatan Peninsula…Cancun…Cozumel…Tulum and such places; they like the adventure of swimming with the non-violent sharks who seem to relish providing "horse rides" for the tourist.   Even the more aristocratic porpoises seem to like interaction with the tourists, and the treatment of the beasts seems to be quite benign.

    All in all, it seems confusing and counterproductive, but tourism in Mexico along their thousands and thousands of miles of interesting and impressive coastlines business is still relatively good.   Mexicans with credentials and a "legitimate purpose" still come into the frontier of Texas to do business purchasing and export / import business. My understanding is that Mexicans with an active and valid visa can still go to Port Isabel / South Padre Island as before.

     We can also suggest that the Peninsula of Baja California has steady Gringo and foreign business, and there are even significant developments for permanent Americans and foreign investors in various places in that part of Mexico.  Mazatlan and a score of other places along the Pacific Coast still pack in the airline arrivals and hotels and cottage-village places in that area.

     But…in the main body of the country, pointless touristic milling around is still either prohibited…more or less…seemingly dependent upon the moment.   It is all rather peculiar.   Perhaps things will normalise back into the abnormal to which we were accustomed.

Later to-day,  and during the morning to-morrow, we shall be writing up a bit about the horrid invasion that the George Soros and Co. have thrust upon Texas and the southern part of the United States as well as all the rest of the places that have been cleared by the Bidenites to allow into the United States of America without permit or permission that normally had been required.   The matter is one of definitive jeopardy for the reasonable people to understand as a distinct danger to the Texas Republic and the strength of the United States of America.

A Social / Cultural / Historical Review and the Probable Future of Texas

These are interesting, even if treacherous, times. Two or
 three dynamics converge to reasonably visit concern
about the assaults that might well be underway against
 the American Union.

     We look over the pandemic that has beset us, not the one about the Martian Flu that the Red Chinese ghouls worked on over in the fable'd Wuhan Institute of Virology, but something that might be related, but less noticed.

      During the past several months, the European, Japanese, and American economic engines have been impacted by medical and social problems emanating from Red China.   For a period of about four…perhaps three and a fraction of years…in an isolated district (if anything in Red China can be isolated any longer) known as Jiangxi there are two communities, Wuhan and Huba, where substantial agricultural and chemical research is conducted.   While it was considered to be something of a glorified advanced research complex designed to help feed the 1,500,000,000 Chinese  populace (one hundred and fifty billion human beings), something else seemed to persistently whisper…"This province is a factory for death…please go away".

      It is very difficult for many humans to comprehend the social and cultural patterns that can be encountered in various parts of the world.    One could review the writings of a fellow by the name of David Southerly who did considerable study and analysis of the impact of Mao upon China, published in 1994.  It points out that perhaps the most peculiar of all governments is that of the Red Chinese government and the forever haunting image of Mao tse tung, the father of democracy with no freedom.   It is probable that Chairman Mao, during his time of service to the people of Red China, caused the extinguishment of over thirty or forty million humans lives…or quite possibly more…many more.   Some studied and reasonable estimates have reached beyond 100, 000, 000 (one-hundred million souls).

     To be sure, many reliable analysts have reasonably placed the direct and precise numbers of humans liquidated, murdered, executed, tortured to death, etc. by the order of Mao, as noted above. It could well have measured well beyond 100,000,000 souls.   Essentially, Mao was as warped and vicious as any self-indulgent tyrant.  He was committed to literally scores of cultural cleansing efforts as irrational as our "Curse of the Global Warmingcooling" asininity that our Euro and American elitist marxist "climate experts"strut about …and warning the unwashed about the End of Times just around the corner. 

     One can point out that at least the Global Warmingcooling nuts are not as destructive and perverse as was Chairman Mao.  They are simply trying to install themselves into the worldwide driver's seat so as to control what people will do in terms of eating, sleeping, social organisation, the colour of traffic signals at intersections, the prohibition of requiring people to associate pink with girls and blue for boys, calorie counting for disadvantaged roller skaters, and all that important stuff.

      The shambles left by Chairman Mao, after many "Great Leaps Forward" has brought Red China to that point that it has a remarkable military that could possibly put together several great reviews of hundreds of thousands of smartly uniformed military people, marching and mixing along with a few hundred tanks, and trucks pulling hundreds of missiles "capable of reaching America and the Sun"in important patios in Peking.   The control group in Peking frequently reminds the people of Planet Earth that Peking can also menace the nation of India, Nepal, and several other much smaller adjacent countries that don't count anyway.   Peking will use them finally to clean toilets for the Poobahs, and to provide blood and human organ transplants and corporal members when Poobahs and/or their children and mistresses lose an arm or leg or lung or something.

      The Red Chinese engine of horrors can buy the allegiance of American and other capitalists who seem to like to hang around with marxist and degenerate "revolutionary liberators",  but their true nature is such that they are actually afraid of taking on entities such as Hong Kong, Taipei, even Viet Nam, and  a score of other entities that cloud the disorder of the highly ordered and controlled nation known as the "Peoples' Republic".   The diplomatic / military forte' of the Red Chinese is the continuous spying and infiltration of places near and far in relation to the Chinese psychotic addiction to the desire to infiltrate, subvert, ruin,  and compromise other cultures and systems.

    It boils down to the proverbial contest between good and evil.   Granted…the Gringos are not "all goody-goody, religious, and pure" but the Red Chinese "uppers" and leadership group that controls their 1,400,000,000 people have no souls.   The compulsion to control and subvert the round-eyes and other lower-level forms of humanity is the main reason for living as far as the Red Chinese control group is concerned.

     There was a time when this observer thought that the Republic of Texas could become something so legendary that it would be able to endure until the exhaustion of the Sun.  Such notions start in the minds of people who receive their first lessons about reality from the Tooth Faerie and El Zorro.   Sorry, Santa Claus is too religious to mention, and we fear that such a thing as a religious measure has become too dangerous to bring into the public arena.  But, here we are, having to recognise that the intestinal fortitude of the Texian population now has to support a population that has become "more realistic", and drawn from areas that have turned into Hell Holes.

     Several hundreds of thousands…becoming millions…have transferred to the Lone State State for various reasons…mostly because it is cheaper than than hanging around in New York or California.  Massive numbers of people from Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador and roughly 223 other important nations have directed their populations to go to Texas and the United States so as to help the American People.  We have long since reaped the harvest of people who have moved into Texas and then begin to point out what is needed in order to bring Texas up to "Standards".   We have recently been "Ocasio'd " by Her Majesty when she came to the Border to express "solidarity" with the "prisoner children" who had been detained in cages after being chained to the inside of said cages.

     Of course, she and her herd of commie cows and ignorant know-it-alls were unaware at that time that the children had been detained long before and under the orders of the god-force Father Saint Obamaham.   Said saint, who lives now near the precincts of the Kopechne Bridge in a land known as Massachusetts, is writing about the further details about how many joints he smoked when he was of some age or  another.

   Rumours concerning  Omar (the Angel of Revenge), and a re-elected Democrat Congresswoman from a district where several score of my forbearers are buried in downtown Minneapolis, lamentably are all true.  Such a strange metamorphosis, one could think, when a communist,  nihilist, Islamite, atheist, anti-American strike force radical, culture-destroying psychopath  can barge into a Nation as generous as the United States, and immediately set about to destroy everything that made life worth living. Things change. Times change. But insanity, arrogance, and proud stupidity seems to prosper when one considers the banality of the Ocasios and the Ilan Abdul Ahi Omar League of mental and social degenerates.

AS AN INTERESTING ASIDE:

THIS IS THE WASHBURN EXPLOSION
 MONUMENT.  SEVERAL SCORE KILLED
 AND INJURED BACK IN MAY OF 1878.

   It was in 1878 when the Washburn - Christian Mills milling explosion occurred.  It was said that the echoes and reverberations down the Mississippi River endure forever.   A great-grand uncle, Charles Christian,  was the manager of  what was then the largest flour grinding operation in America.   The Washburn side of the ownership was mainly political, as demonstrated by the fact that Mr. Washburn, the majority owner of the operation, had been elected Governor of Wisconsin a couple of times before changing his path to become a magnate of industry.   He was successful in both endeavours, in spite of the disaster that literally tore the innards out of the industrial sector of Minneapolis in 1878.

  My great-grand Uncle, John Christian, was a partner in the business, and the "man on the ground" because he was the day-to-day administrator of the huge flour milling operation.

     At that time the idea that grinding seeds into 

powder-like flour could become literally an explosive problem.  Until that point, folks who were using advanced processing equipment had experienced the sudden flaming of freshly ground flour when the grinding gears overheated due to lack of hub-lubrication.

     The Washburn event, however, was due to a spontaneously free-floating powder of a very fine grade…which, when static electricity moved through a certain density of powder that floated almost undetected in the atmosphere inside the "Washburn A"  milling factory,  and when very low relative humidity ruled the moment…an explosion of absolute catastrophic  effect could…and did...occur.   Almost immediately the Washburn - Christian people set about building everything up bigger and better.   Within a calendar year the overhaul and reconstruction were accomplished.

     Poobahs throughout the industrial bases of the United States howled about defective planning, lack of concern for the poor workers, the uncaring nature of the big operators and so forth until two Minnesota University scientists, one named Peckham, the other Peck took up the challenge of solving the explosive characteristics of flour powder.   These men performed exhaustive research and testing and concurred with my great-grand uncle John Christian.   The new factory would have forced air ventilation!!

     Finally, we need to point out that there were various metamorphosises as the years went by.  The Washburn organisation steadily recovered, and then began to disperse finally in the northern parts of Illinois, adopting the name of General Mills, while the Christian people moved into banking and real estate operations, generally remaining in and around the original "Minnesota" venues.   And now we return to that which is at hand….

   Alexandria Ocasio made a fool of herself that time (again) in front of the cameras, so she went back to New York City with her covey of imbeciles and declared her new victory.  It will be years before the city crews will be able to sweep up and tidy the Rue de Broadway because of the hundreds of millions of rose-throwing, cry-for-happy trans, women, unpersons, leftists, foodstamp poisoning recovery patients, volunteer shoplifters, and people who like to wrap their headscarfs so tightly that their senses fail (something called nirvana).

     We shall close this commentary by reminding myself that Biden and Clamella have no idea what should be done, what is being done, what ought not to be done, what planet they are on and such matters.   The Republic is in serious danger due to pervasive lack of interest on the part of the vox populi,  an unwillingness of the Big Operators to wean themselves from the opiate of Red Chinese Communist thugs who see Americans as a supply of replacement organs for the Upper Commies and their children and mistresses.

     It becomes necessary by the hour and minute to refresh our relations with the smaller nations in the Far East, and to re-awaken the old-line reliant souls…New Zealand, Australia, and the like.  The other small island nations and the Japanese must guard us and our friends, as we do the same in return in order to defend ourselves from the maniacal nations such as North Korea and the PRoC and the ghouls who are addicted to their addictions and who deal in the morbidity of The Poison Trip (chemical addictions)…now compromising almost one in every ten humans aged 13 or more...who live upon the Planet Earth.

Can Camalalala Pull the Hat Out of the Rabbit???

         We wrote several pages of commentary about the Vice-President and the President and suddenly there was a clickityclik and a black screen.  We are waiting to see if there will be another such event…I put in over 10 hours on the other posting that…simply evaporated before my face.   Perhaps that (my face) was the problem, so I am using sunglasses no so as to not scare the computer and its screen.

     We do have enough edginess to justify a bit of psychotic withdrawal syndrome and a couple of nightmares after seeing a sudden screening of Maxine Waters and/or (Sir Edmund) Hillary Rodham faces suddenly flashing on the television screen.  That was the accidental "return to service" when my television decided to join the Electric Age again.

      My overly acerbic rant about Kamela going to Guatemala and Mexico was snide and childish, but it was really funny.  At least we had the opportunity to see Kampala-la-la exit her Air Force 2's Air Force 2 (after the first Air Force 2 developed in-flight hiccups and had to return to somewhere near Washington, DC to pick up another Air Force 2 that replaced the Air Force 2 that could not continue to a destination that did not matter to neither host nor visitant, anyway.

       The best part of that event was when Camela stepped out with her black mouth-mask when there was a simultaneous blast of tropic wind that blew Kampala's black hair over her face, complementing the black mask.   As she descended she either was unaware that she was blind or she thought there was something wrong with her contacts or whatever, but her face remained totally covered by her hair and mask during the entire descent.   It was a pleasantly degrading and somewhat humiliating "entrance enchante'" by her highness.

     I spared everyone by forgoing the nearly eight-page bomb I was going to drop early this morning.  This was mainly because I could not figure out how to restore the text after the almost insignificant break in the flow of electricity…much less than a second.   It was weird, and only one person mentioned anything about it on the radio this morning.   It apparently did not affect but very few terminals….perhaps only mine and five or six others.

     And the answer to the question in the title above….???   The answer is no.

Drifting Without a Direction...

            We have been wandering about inside the well-worn cranium during the past 72 hours or so, contemplating all nature of things past, present, and future.   At 03:00 hours  on a Tuesday in May after a couple of four inch cloudbursts in the span of five days, one can at least say that there has been a bit of excitement here on the Texas / Mexico Frontier.

     At this point in my life, it has become a bit burdensome to entertain a daily cascade of misery, iniquity, violence, avarice, and the steady decline of normalcy and decency.  It amazes this particular writer how deeply mired the Democrat Party has become mired in the worst forms of graft, hubris, arrogance, stupidity, and all nature of avarice.

     It amazes this particular observer of the American scene of the moment, that a woman such as Nancy D'Alesandro Pelosi could achieve such position considering her many shortcomings.   One of my favourite marks of the stupidity and lack of tact and intelligence of her less than royal highness is when she held an apparent impromptu news conference on the sidewalk outside of the Vatican.   She responded to a question from a dunce reporter about some point of Papal thinking, to which she declared,"The Pope is not well-informed about whether abortion is against church rules or not." (or something very close to this revelation by Her Highness)

     This individual, with her flurried hand and forearm jiggle-jaggle flapping while she searches through the cockroaches of her brain for "just the right word", gives a reasonable observer the sense that she is…in the Southern lexicon, "tetched" (to Yankees and other normal people, "tetched" is a Southern word which means "touched inside the head, and not in a good way").   As an Episcopalian of various generations, married to a girl for the last 50 years who is a good Episcopalian, and still at home with the Romans with about 700 years of Roman Catholic inculcation…we both almost "splooted" all our oatmeal through our noses when Her Highness reminded the gathered gaggle of reporters outside the Vatican that "… the Pope is not the final authority about these matters."

     And she is still here.  Almost daily she can roll out the most pitiful halting form of speech and blather, while her eyes dart from here to there…as if looking at spectres who are transcribing her lies.  The entire cadre of Pelosi and her posse of dolts are truly something to behold.  Thankfully, my guys and gals are by-in-large, dull and boring and correct and careful, almost always mostly to totally accurate in their pronouncements.   BUT….Whenever an Elephant misspeaks, however small the insult, ABCCBSNBCPBSETC calls for the lynch mob.

   One of my favourites (pictured left)  is the woman, apparently of Georgia...Stacey Yvonne Abrams, who is postulating for Governor of said State.   She is but one of many doltish Democrat Socialist dolts, feted and honoured, esteemed and lauded, awarded and admired by all, more or less, and for whatever!!!   Especially, whatever.

      She is especially admired with her ever increasing dirty novels (numbering eight in circulation at this point) that she writes up while saving the masses from the GKOKPK.

       Miss Stacey is famous for being famous, and for always siding with those who want something for no cost to themselves.   She fully intends to run for and win the Gubernatorial race in Georgia this next time around.  Odds are about even in this matter.   Miss Nancy fully intends to run for Grand Wizard of America and San Francisco's Wonderland of befouled sidewalks and public places ruined by "Democrats for Drugs and Sidewalks" (a new Democrat PAC).

     We wonder if Miss Nancy can come up with a person to blame for the sidewalk messes in San Francisco, or if she can keep finding a place in her fancy precincts where she does not have to take serious care of where her next step might be. (WE REGRET THAT OUR 'MINDERS' HAVE DETERMINED THAT AN IMAGE or IMAGES THAT WE WERE ANTICIPATING USING TO SHOW THE DEPRAVITY AND HORRORS OF URBAN PARTS OF THE CENTRAL CITY OF SAN FRANCISCO WERE EDITTED OUT. 

       SAN FRANCISCO IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES WHERE VISITORS CAN BE ADVISED TO WATCH THEIR STEP WHEN WALKING ABOUT IN DOWNTOWN AND OTHER NEARBY PLACES.  IT IS, IN THE VERNACULAR OF MANY SOUTHERNERS AND TEXIANS REFERRED TO AS …"…IT COULD PUKE A BUZZARD OFF'N A GUT WAGON.)

       It seems so strange that all these little no-where places in the USA…in Texas…one can drive in and find civil, understated (or overstated) living situations…predictable sanitation…still a near certainty of security…still a nice home and shopping and dining set of alternatives.   Almost everywhere Miss Nancy or Miss Stacey or Miss Maxine seem to go, there are people who feel like they need to go somewhere where those three girls are absent.

     We have been given to understand that Maxine may be going to have some financial conflicts and other problems involving improprieties, although these rumours and rumours of rumours seem to remain, to this point, just rumours.

     This should be a happily brief note to the OROG community and the other followers who seem to be bunched up in the northeastern part of the United States and western Europe, and to some extent in Japan and South Korea.  Odd.  Perhaps I should send some advisories to Australia and and New Zealand about our radical policies.

     We have been increasingly concerned about the new head of the Department of Defense, a fellow by the name of General Lloyd T. Austin III, recently confirmed to his office after being named by President Biden.   Normally, these matters come and go…perfunctory things that require procedure and process.

     This time, however, we have had that unwanted unease that suggests something is amiss.  It is sort of a cat's intuition when there has been no sound…or a dog, asleep, suddenly opens his eyes, but does not move…as he sniffs something that interrupted his sleep.  The brief advisory to Lieutenant General (retired) Lloyd T. Austin, III by the President and his people was a classic demonstration of how a hand and a glove can fit so well at the first fitting.

    To wit:   The following paragraph can provide some guidance to the things to come from the Department of Defense.   For so long as imbeciles such as the present holder of the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America and  his cadre hold sway in of the rudder of the Ship of State, we must expect the worst in our construct, deployment, and application of our military.

     We are not actually stretching a point, because there are several analysts, observer, and interested parties mixed up into this matter.   Your humble servant tends to minimise but not ignore a peculiar characteristic about the good General's service.   To be sure, on the surface, the General is a man of almost constant service up until a few years ago.  In a way, his image is made bright and positive because of that length of service and the attaining of the rank of Lt. General…which is about as high as a soldier can go.

     There were very, very few who ever attained the rank of five-star general.  My recollection calls out this group for muster:

     (1)  General Henry H. Arnold       

     (2)  General Omar Bradley

     (3)  General Dwight David Eisenhower

     (4)  Admiral William Halsey, Jr.

     (5)  Admiral Ernest King

     (6)  Admiral William Leahy

     (7)  General Douglas MacAurthur

     (9)   Admiral Chester Nimitz  

     Three men were endowed with honourable five-star status based upon their 

service before the rank had been recognised or even proposed.  They are:

     (a)  Admiral George Dewey

     (b)  General George (Black Jack) Patton

     (c)   General George Washington

     My sense is very much that the Good General (retired) Lloyd T. Austin will be at the ready to assure that all left-handed albatrosses who wear ballet outfits when they are pregnant will be given adequate lectures about not discussing any positive material concerning Robert Edward Lee, and that homosexual, reverse re-transgendered bionogribsticklers are given first positions in the lo-cal, non-fattening, dietetically correct cellophane December Holidays turkey-vinyl, food-like substance celebration.   Remember…no names or assignment of purpose for "Holidays" of any kind.

     The idea of having a celebration with holes punched in it should be repugnant to all.

    We watch from our somewhat removed area in the bleachers, seeing all manner of things that are good and things that are bad.   As one travels to the destination ahead, it seems clear that good has has been diminished and ill has been allowed to flourish.

     We have gained much comfort.   But I remember well that we were very comfortable at one time when we lived in a rambling house in the country that had electricity.  And since natural gas was available in abundance, although it cost $1.79 per month to use, we could cook without a second thought.   Electricity was a different matter.   Sometimes they wanted $5.53 per month…just because we had electric lamps, and a fridge…and a radio or two…it was all so complicated.

      For the eons of time that your humble observer has been a humble observer, we have taken note that each great technological leap ahead, matters have become a bit more complicated and expensive with each leap.   With each leap to greater pleasure the miseries intensified for some reason.  A song written by boy born of Russian immigrants, steeped in Jewish tradition,  seems to sum it up for me at times…"I Got Plenty of Nuthin' "…from Porgy and Bess…a Negro Anthem.   But that was yesterday…and yesterday is really gone.

     Jews, Russians, Negroes…it must be purely an American thing…it was certainly a masterpiece in the Arts…and to think that George Gershwin died at the age of 38 of a brain tumour, a couple of years after the brilliant "Porgy and Bess" presentation.  But I digress…

    During the last campaign the oppressors, who have have strived for generations to develop a multitudinous mass of dullards and shysters combining forces.  There have been previous versions and attempts foisted upon the electorate and we continue lurching into the theatre of what we call "elections" but now with greater mendacity and ardour.

           The fact of the matter is, there are a lot of people who do not have the intellectual armament to vote in any intelligent manner. There are literally millions of people throughout the United States who are voting who could not identify the difference between a Supreme Court and a parking meter no matter how much they have been bribed.

       We have been assuming for the past several years that people with college educations are educated and are qualified to attempt to discern the difference between an apple core, an appendectomy, and a dichotomy. It's still a bad assumption.

  But folks working with their hands and brains without stopping in between to read modern educational tomes are probably better off in many ways.  Traditionalists tend to remain traditionalists as one might imagine…but unfortunately, those folks will not be around after the next four or five generations.  The Sons of Chairman Mao will lead them off to the plantations of the Uighurs.   George Soros might still be alive in that future time then, prolonging his life by the consuming of various livers and hearts of volunteers like Uighurs and Australians and Americans and others, while governing from the 5th moon of Saturn while he counts his lucre, and feeds on stardust for dessert.

     While the above comments and observations might border on the frontier of Fantasyland, we are facing a cadre of people dedicated  to the proposition of controlling everyone else's lives.   To that mass of people…the ultra-leftists…the consumptive totalitarians…there is no greater mission than to line up all  the little people and make them do precisely what is ordered at every corner and on every page and at each command.   The fellows above-pictured pertain to a group that the central Red Chinese governing cadre had under their control and detention, until having been liberated by "extracurricular elements among the Uighur citizenry".

     It should be pointed out that various nations bordering and/or close by those areas having Uighurs, tend to accommodate folks looking for a way out of China.   One must understand that in western China there is almost constant harassment being served up by Red Chinese military and constabulary.  As a little fluff on the icing, we like to point out to folks a quirky thing about the Uighurs in western China concerning the architecture of the holy places where services are held.

     What your humble servant wishes to point out is how similar the little "Mohammedan Church" looks like a little downtown "Anglican  Church".  Actually, it could have passed for a Methodist or Baptist church…or even a Synagogue.   Images such as the above chapel remind the writer that the Koran has more references to the Nazarene than to the founding force of the the Islamic religion, Mohammed.   If they had their Stars of David (Saturdays), Crucifixes (Sundays), and (Fridays) Holy Crescents…the clerics could roll their eyes and send the sextants up to change the symbols as per the day of the week.  Think of the efficiencies and savings and increase in attendance by the faithful…not to mention tourists who could choose their visit so as to take advantage of this or that religious and/or cultural event taking place that particular day or days, depending upon one's flight arrival or departure time.

     And yes, Virginia, your writer is making a sour and silly comment in the above paragraph, but when one ponders the possibility, perhaps it would be a good idea after all.  Anything that would confound or cause consternation among the Communist Chinese apparatchniks would be appreciated in these precincts.   Below, please find words that might adequately orient the reader concerning what meaning the word "apparatchik" or (for Russians) "apparatchnik".
