We go to-morrow. The Quinta has seen almost 40 inches of rain since I was there 6 weeks ago. We have had a series of delays in our return, not the least of which was the boss deciding to fall of her bicycle (a 1972 Raleigh, with a 3 - speed and a Brooks saddle-seat...really neat-o) that we bought back in the day. She does well by it, but about two weeks ago, the curb jumped out in front of her and broke a significant bone in her shoulder.
In any regard, Alvaro probably has caught every flea on the dog, having worked straight through without complaint. But, he certainly has better things to do by this point. I should be there before noon to-morrow and thereby relieve him of his exile.
This entire Fast and Furious, Immigration wave, Iraq and Afghani collapse, IRS silliness, Benghazi debacle, and the POW burlesque of a sell-out of reality by the release of 5 really dreadful animals for the sake of a mentally and morally challenged deserter. Saints preserve us!

To-morrow we go into a State that has essentially been militarised, and pretty much been entered into a declared state of martial law, with four military districts dividing Tamaulipas into groupings with several score thousand of very advanced troops, almost all with combat experience, and forensic experience, and counter-insurgency experience.....along with training by very select Mexican officers and non-coms along with Israeli, Brit, and American military analysts and direct training personnel. These that are in Tamaulipas at this moment could take on the entire Cuban military and reduce it to shreds in three weeks.
This new deployment backs up previous success, AND THE MILITARY HAS DETERMINED THAT NO ADVANCE WILL BE LOST BY ARMY WITHDRAWALS OR LACK OF ATTENTIVENESS TO THE NEEDS OF THE CITIZENRY TO REASONABLE PUBLIC SAFETY AND DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY. Obama should watch and be shamed.
